Here is the recipe for Spice Soup! Hope everyone gets the chance to try and make it^^ Have fun!
INGREDIENTS:
Onions
Mushrooms
Dried red peppers
Potatoes
Carrots
Celery
Zucchini
Frozen corn or canned corn
Cabbage
2-15oz can of tomatoes
Chicken soup base
Parsley(dry crushed)
Lightly brown some hot peppers in oil. (The little dried red peppers, often used in oriental cooking)
Be careful not to cook them to long or the soup will be really spicy. After they are browned, take them out. Be sure to get them in a vertical handled strainer and then lower them in the hot oil. After they brown this makes it easy to take them out. (you could also cook the peppers in a small pan and then pour the oil into a big soup pot through a strainer.
All the following ingredients should be cut into small bite size pieces.
Saute 2 onions, and then mushrooms(about equal to onions) in the oil.
After the onions & mushrooms are sauteed add the following:
4 or 5 potatoes
3 carrots
Celery
1 small zucchini
1 package of frozen corn(or 1 can)
1inahalf head of cabbage
2-15oz cans of diced tomatoes(or 1 large can)
Chicken soup base
Dry parsley, crushed.
Fill pot with water so that it covers everything.
After bring it to a boil, cover and let simmer until the veg. are all cooked.
It takes some time for the potatoes to cook. Add water as it evaporates.
I like to let the soup simmer all day. It not only makes the house smell wonderful, but it tastes better the longer it cooks. With chunks of fresh bread it makes a hearty meal, especially on a cold day sitting by a crackling fire.

Warning! Only use above if making for the D'Hara Army lol use half of what I put up there for ingedients^^ Or what ever you feel like use your eyes to measure things lol

If you have food problems, you should come visit my family. I had one friend who was only my friend so he could visit. And he only wanted to visit because we fed him. We spent a lot of money feeding that boy.

I had dinner, it was salad, and mashed potatos, and some left over roast beef and gravy thrown together in a pan. It wasn't that bad.

Why thanks, Chub. And in case you weren't sure, that WAS Dakota. I swear, all but three of my friends from HS used me. I'm not counting the ones who graduated while I was still a student. Taki, Travi and Sara were great!
