Jinks had been gone for over a week now. Rool hadn't moved on, convinced that the moment he left, that would be when Jinks came back. If he left now, Jinks may never be able to find him. He briefly thought about going out in search of his friend, but similar logic kept him from leaving the small clearing where they had fought. Soon though, Rool would have to keep moving. He didn't like staying in one place for so long. A few more days. Max.

Those few days were almost up when Jinks finally returned. He looked tired as he stepped through the trees. His eyes widened a bit when he saw Rool. He hadn't expected to find him here. He figured Rool would have moved on by now. Never the less he was thrilled to see his friend. They'd argued, but all friends do that kind of thing. Rool's words had hurt, and the memory of them still stung, but he had more important things to worry about now. Having Rool's help in this new venture would be invaluable.

"Hey Rool." Rool met Jinks' gaze and nodded. His happy mood discipated quickly though when his eyes caught sight of the young kage beside him. Jinks must have found and taken in some abandoned kids. Rool took a few steps toward the family.

"Jinks.... what... who are they?" Rool eyed the children cautiously. Upon closer inspection they looked an awful lot like Jinks. Rool's eyes narrowed. They weren't abandoned and Jinks didn't adopt them. Jinks had left because Rool called him a whore, and went off to prove it. The thoughts were vicious, as were his words. He hadn't meant to pick the fight up where he left it, but he couldn't help it.
Jinks didn't bristle this time. He didn't shout back. He didn't step away. He stood there and took it, ceasing to look at Rool. The kids crowded behind his legs, too young to understand the words but they sensed the venom behind them. When Rool stopped yelling, Jinks offered a quiet explination.

"Look, what you said... all of that... it might as well be true. When I left, I met someone. She was..." He paused, "Insistant. We... well. You can pretty much see what we did right here. The important thing is we obviously did not plan to stay together, but I couldn't just leave them. Rool, I need your help. I can't do this on my own."

Rool regarded Jinks coolly, obviously avoiding the curious gaze of the babies. He would help, because he wasn't going to force Jinks to abandon his own kids. Even if they should not exist. He certainly wouldn't abandon his best friend. He would help Jinks, but he didn't have to like it.
