What are some memorable action movie moments or scenes? A scene where you just sit there with eyes wide open and jaw dropped and wondering HOW'd THEY DO THAT!. The moment in a movie that makes you want to become a hero too. ACTION SEQUENCES THAT JUST MAKES THE MOVIE.

Matrix. I like the interesting concept of bullet time, and how slow motion being blurred can be seen as extremely fast. Up to now, no movie has beat Matrix in special effects or action shots. In my opinion at least.

The Matrix... special effects and action scenes still good after seven years.

I like the action sequence between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jin against Darth Maul. I think Darth Maul is the baddest sith there is twisted
the double sided light saber and the fast pace fighting was really cool... Star Wars Episode 1...The Phantom Menace..

I like the part where "the bride" (uma) and oren (lucy) started fighting. From the moment oren placed her sandals to the side, bowed, and the song started playin for the first time, I became so pumped by it that it gave me goosebumps. It was a short fighting scene but that one part where they touched swords together, and gave each other an intense stare. woo hoo! that's it! scream

Oh yeah.. I *love* that scene from 'The Princess Bride'! That whole movie is funny.

The lightsaber duel in 'SW Episode One--The Phantom Menace' Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon Jinn/Darth Maul (despite the many people who said this movie sucked..this whole scene made up for jar-jar binks annoying screen presence)

The lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker 'Revenge Of The Sith' (very cool)

Battle over Coruscant in the opening sequence of 'Revenge Of The Sith'

Umm when the men from the South showed up on the huge Oliphaunts in The Return of the King. I was like holy crap, the men are gonna die, but then Legolas showed up and kicked that one Oliphaunts arse.

Or when the Wolf Head breaks through the main gate in Minas Tirith and the Trolls come through in full battle armour...

*ahem* sorry I'm a huge LotR fan xD.

I rather enjoyed the battles in 'The Two Towers' and 'Return of the King'

playing them in the video games wasn't easy. All by yourself when you defend Helm's Deep..
