Today, I'm browsing for Fullmetal alchemist stuff on amazon,com, and you will not believe some of what I found:
On Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 6
With Alphonse's soul grafted into a suit of armor, and the other brother equipped with mechanical limbs, they become government alchemists, serving the state on deadly missions and fighting the evil alchemists called the Seven Deadly Sins.
A review:
The voice actors are fabulous, something that has not happened too often with dubbed anime.
(Ha! Let's see who needs a new VA: Envy, Hohenhiem, basic everyone)
Another review:
When Ed and Al tried to bring their mom back from the dead Ed lost an arm and a leg and when Winry and her grandmother tried to reattach his arm and leg with auto male Ed is in unbelevable pain. Now when a ten year old is in incredible pain you would normally expact them to scream and yell, but no Ed says " This pain is nothing..." (he forgot the second half of the quote...)
Also another problem with the series is that it tries to get sympathy from it's viewer by using children as plot devices. The series is always showing children getting sick, hurt, turned into chimeras. It's like " What can we do thats really shocking this week... oh I know lets show kids getting hurt again... all the fan girls will go nuts over that," it's true they do that because they know fan girls just eat that stuff up. It tries to be compelling by showing kids getting hurt or killed all the time. Well people theres a limit to these things, it's compelling if you do it seldom not every single episode. (How much of the series have you seen? The don't do it that much!)
Also the Ed turning into an angry chibi thing when someone calls him short isn't funny. It's just not, despite what all the fan girls say.
(of course it is)
(As you can tell, I really hate this review) Everybody says the visuals are groundbreaking, when nothig could be further from the truth. It's not bad animation, but it's certainly not good either. The character designs are very run of the mill, and lack depth in their expresions. The animation is at times still, and the art work leaves much to be desired in terms of complexity. The music is okay I guess. There's just not enough of it. It seems like thay play the smae old tunes over and over again.
(A. the animation is good B. they have three whole sound tracks)
To be continued, but in the meantime, talk about it!

They (thankfully) removed it, but not too long ago, in the "fun facts" section they claimed that Ed could not clap without his pocket watch. It went something like this: "In episode 12, Edward performs alchemy without a trasmutaion circle. However, Ed can only do this when he has his pocket watch, which he does not aquire until a few episodes later."
...wtf?

Sailor Silver Hawk They (thankfully) removed it, but not too long ago, in the "fun facts" section they claimed that Ed could not clap without his pocket watch. It went something like this: "In episode 12, Edward performs alchemy without a trasmutaion circle. However, Ed can only do this when he has his pocket watch, which he does not aquire until a few episodes later." ...wtf? WHAAAAT!? That is so wrong! gonk Idiots! scream If that was true, how could he have passed the Alchemy Exam in #6!?! gonk And He got the pocketwatch in the begining of 7!! Last I checked... 7 comes before 12! scream That angers me! scream

I think the veiwer is a complete fake. Must be one of those asswipes who despise anime, and think shows such as Tom Goes To The Mayor are classics.

Whoever wrote that review should stop writing reviews, the only thing I agree with is the part about the good dub. The subbed version was terrible, the only voice that was better in that version was Nina.
But yeah, the plot is awesome. o_O. That guy should lay off the drugs for a bit.
