• Personality :: Generally optimistic and usually calm. Has always tried to hide any negative emotions he has, and now since it's been drilled into his peronality he still either smiles or has a straight face when saying anything negative. When actually pushed far enough to show his anger instead of merely feel it, he loses his sense of morality.

• Biography :: Kaiketsu grew up in the 71st district of North Rukongai. He was the oldest of his group of friends and they all looked up to him. If they had a "leader" it was him. Kaiketsu knew this but didn't like it particularly. Their district wasn't the worst, but it was by far not the best. All the kids, in their little groups, we're basically gangs. Some more violent and aggressive than others, some (like Kaiketsu's) were more defensive, in existence so they could just help each other survive. Though he didn't want the responsibility, Kaiketsu always tried his hardest to be a tough leader for his younger friends.
The 'gangs' wouldn't be killing each other, no that was for the grown-up gangs to do. But the violent ones certainly enjoyed displays of power. Fights ensued over the sweets that some gang managed to steal, or other more trivial things. Kaiketsu and his gang, though defensive, fought a lot. Kaiketsu was always naturally strong. His strong reiatsu fueling his body even before he knew it existed there let alone knowing how to use it. One day, after making the mistake of helping an old lady who passing through the district, the gang were given what was considered a treasure trove of sweets. This almost instantly painted a target on their heads. Later in the day they were confronted by multiple gangs which was a rare occurrence especially as they weren't fighting one another. They must have decided to fight after they massacred Kaiketsu's gang for the sweets.
The battle was inevitably going to happen. The only problem was, in spite of himself Kaiketsu couldn't hide his fear. He couldn't be strong for his friends. He froze up in a corner. His friends feeling even more fear at the sight of their leader's weakness. He watched as each one of them was battered. And then they did the same to him. They all lived of course, but his friends renounced him as both their leader and as their friend after the ordeal. He was left alone in those slums for quite a while. After hating himself for a very long time he eventually decided to make it up to his friends devoid of whether they'd accept him again or not.
He executed a daring and generally stupid heist on one of the large gangs that attacked them back then. It was thanks to his - unknown to all - high reiatsu level that he made it out alive. He wasn't exactly sneaky enough to get in and out, he got in but was caught near instantly. With nothing to lose (and a power he didn't understand) he defeated the entire gang and got out with his prize. By defeat here it was more him out lasting everyone's energy, he left the camp covered in his own blood. He found his old friends in the same abandoned shack that they used to spend their time in. He dumped the bag of sweets in the middle of them, this bag held twice the amount of those they lost before, and left without a word.
He then for no actual reason walked relatively non stop from where he was towards Seretei. He made it to district 10 without effectively being stopped, before he fainted. He woke up in an actual bed, clean and his wounds tended to. The old lady the he and his old gang had helped out back then lived in this district. Whether Kaiketsu knew that or just experienced an amazing coincidence he cannot remember. She looked after him after that point, pretty much adopting him. After that point, his life was peaceful, normal and not particularly interesting for storytelling. He grew up, joined the Shinigami Academy, became a strong shinigami, and after a very long time became the Head Captain. There was no, one specific reason that he got that position. There was many, his strength, kindness, intelligence and many actual battles where he proved to be a great leader no matter what happened.

• Name :: Ryū no me [Dragon's Eye]
• Element :: Reaitsu
• Sealed Appearance :: Two blades with exactly the same length and appeance, both sheathed on the right of his waist. The blades are the length of his hips to his shoulders, with burgandy hilts and 8-pointed star shaped hand guards.
• Zanpakutou Position :: Right of his waist. (Both of them)
• Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance (Shikai & Bankai) :: Shikai: A wingless red dragon with large scales. Resembles a komodo dragon. It's length is no longer than Kaiketsu's height.
Bankai: A large twin-tailed large-scaled dragon, still wingless. It now looks more like a legendary fire-breathing dragon excluding the wings. This dragon towers above Kaiketsu.
• Zanpakutou Spirit Personality :: Extremely lazy, sleeping most of the time that Kaiketsu visits his inner world.
• Inner World :: A vast grassy plane, with small hills and always sunny. A small old-looking shrine sits in the middle of the field. No grass exists within a metre of it and the ground around it is dry and cracked.
Shikai
• Release Command :: Glare
• Appearance :: The blades are of equal size and appearance again. The length is slightly extended (hips to chin) and the width of the blades are at least twice as big. They resemble great swords in the width, but are smaller in length. They curve near the end, and don't form a point, to make half of a 'U' shape. The back of the blade is blunt including the end of the blade. They are grey and do not shine like a normal blade. There is no hand guard, and the hilt flows into the blade.
• Abilities, Techniques :: Mikazukikeino ōra [Crescent Aura] - Blades are swung in an arc/crescent motion. A very thin distortion of light is created in a crescent shape, and propelled wherever intended. It can only slice, not pierce or destroy, implying that even on an unstable structure the slash will be so thin that the structure may remain standing.
Ryū no me [Dragon's Eye] - The blades are held so the blunt sides of the blades are facing each other, slightly apart. Like a mirror image. The shape resembles the shape of a dragon's eye, namely his zanpaktou spirit's eye. A pale, clear dome of reiatsu is formed from blade to blade. This is used as a shield, can be swung to deflect projectiles and can plausibly be used to hit a target, but he doesn't tend to use it that way. This technique can be used even with the swords stuck in the ground as long as their positions are correct.
Ryū no Chikaku [Dragon's Perception] - While using Dragon's Eye, he can look through the dome and see farther than normally possible with amazing precision. As well as seeing things already close to him in better detail.
Bankai
• Name :: Ryūnotamashī [Dragon's Soul]
• Appearance :: The blades are joined together by a pole, where the hand guards should be, the hilts dissapear and the new pole is used as a handle. They are joined in the shape used by the 'Dragon's Eye' technique. This double bladed weapon is duplicated, one for each hand. All the blades this time are gleaming silver like the usual sealed zanpaktou.
Also suspended behind him are two large leaf-shaped tails made from large red sharpened metal scales. Each scale is a bit bigger than Kaiketsu's head, and each tail is made from 15 scales.
Lastly he has a small amount of chest armour, the same color as the scales. The armour stretches across chest and reaches down to the top of his abdomen. There are a few small curved spikes at the collar bone of the armour pointing upwards, and the top of the armour finishes just over his chin where the armour creates the shape of the bottom jaw of a dragon.
• Abilities, Techniques :: He can control where the scales are, like a telekenesis specifically for them.
The abilities from his shikai can of course still be used.
Saishū keitai [Final Form] - All 30 scales form the shape of a dragon's head around his right hand and lower arm. The two 'Dragon's Eye' weapons join the scales and literally become this dragon's eyes. The dragon's head on his right arm can bite his oppononents, and fire reiatsu either as a long-ranged projectile or a short ranged burst.
Saigo [Last Breath] - This technique can only be performed during 'Final Form'. The two 'Dragon's Eyes' move inside of the dragon head's mouth, and in a shining aura similar to the light of his Crescent Aura attack, they merge to become the same weapon but twice the size. Kaiketsu charges a massive amount of chakra and fires the blade with immense speed. It reaches any target (that's in his line of sight) in a split second. This technique takes an amazingly massive amount of reiatsu and his current mastery of the technique has led to only his right arm becoming injured after the technique's use. Instead of pretty much his whole body like it used to be.
