Samurai of the East~ Sword Versus Camera Stage 1B: Not all those you encounter are looking to fight, for some search for cause as well. The tremors of the earth had brought her forth. It had been far too long since she had gotten involved in an incident. It was time to test her abilities, and there was no better way but to get involved and solve it, a way to prove her greater capacity to the Hakurei Clan.
As she walked towards the epienter of all this she made sure to push back any youkai that dared challenge her. It was a good warm up. Above her head she saw a figure shoot by: Aya. That pesky Reporter.
Meira took to the air and called out,"HEY! TEEENGUUUU!"
Enter Meira ~ Ryounu Samurai
"HEY. You." Meira called again,"Where are you going?" The samurai asked, wondering what this bird was up to.

"HEY. You." Meira called again,"Where are you going?" The samurai asked, wondering what this bird was up to."Finally, a person I could actually talk to!" Aya grinned, stopping in mid-air. She was quite curious about the girl in front of her, and studied her features with her red eyes. "I could add an article to the newspaper about you as well; I think it would make the distribution fairer, don't you think so?" As sudden as she stopped, the tengu remembered her original job and seemed serious for a while. "Though I must find out the cause of all these tremors first. You look like someone who knows a lot, and I think it would be better if you hand me some information."

"Distribution Fairer?" Meira grumbled,"What Are you talking about? I am not here for news, I am here to solve the earthquake issues that surround Youkai Mountain."
"Excuse me, but I am asking the questions here first," the samurai retorted, crossing her arms stubbornly,"Don't try to flip the game on me tengu. I want you to tell me what you know. I won't be disclosing anyhing today, hear me?"

"Excuse me, but I am asking the questions here first," the samurai retorted, crossing her arms stubbornly,"Don't try to flip the game on me tengu. I want you to tell me what you know. I won't be disclosing anyhing today, hear me?"
"So am I. Well, the tengu are already working on the issues, and my boss told me to discourage you from going into further trouble." Aya sighed heavily and seemed to jot down something else on her notebook. "Though if you want it the hard way, then there's nothing I can do." the tengu closed the notebook as if to emphasize her point.

She drew her sword,"I hope you can fly with clipped wings, tengu!"

She drew her sword,"I hope you can fly with clipped wings, tengu!"
"Heh, you shan't underestimate us tengu." Aya smirked, pocketing her notebook and pen and bringing out her fan in replacement of the two. "Make sure you'll be ready to face the wind!" Without waiting for a reply, Aya raised her fan and danmaku came out from behind her, forming a series of patterns like the Wind God "Storm Day".

"Tengu are flying chicken, you do not scare me rep-" Okay, so the Samurai had forgotten how clumsy she was in flight. She had just learned how to fly after all! The danmaku from the spellcard knocked her right down, though she gained her balance before she crush through the tree line.
"Why You..." She once more flied drawing her sword and cutting through the danmaku in hopes of reaching Aya. Once she was close enough, she drew a spell card, "Sleeping Power~ Power of Darkness!" The card spun in the air, before five dark orbs begun to spin around her like electrons releasing short bursts of multi-colored danmaku every other two spins in their orbital.

"Why You..." She once more flied drawing her sword and cutting through the danmaku in hopes of reaching Aya. Once she was close enough, she drew a spell card, "Sleeping Power~ Power of Darkness!" Aya smirked once again, dodging the danmaku successfully with the help of her agility. As fast as she was, she did not want to waste all her energy dodging, so she went further away, where the danmaku weren't so fast. Her observations of the samurai helped her subconsciously make up bits of paragraphs for her next article to be published-- when she successfully investigates first, that is. The tengu dashed to the left, continuing to fire her danmaku. It was a good thing that she didn't get too dizzy easily, yet a small part of her mind was losing focus, since they were so close to her. Aya tried using her fan, yet it was of no use. Tsk-ing, she decided to move in all sorts of directions, hoping to make the other dizzy from watching her. After a split-second, Aya was already up in the air, and in another was below, planning to make a sudden danmaku shower.

Meira kept her spell card eventually choosing to stare ahead and use her peripheral vision to keep an eye on Aya. It was a pretty good plan, except she lacked the trust in her own sight, and she ended up attempting to follow Aya's crazed flight pattern.
When the card pinged out, Meira was fully open to Aya's attack, since the human girl had gotten a bit dizzy as the tengu reporter had planned. She was trying to get her breath back before continuing her assault... Or was she getting assaulted now?

Aya sighed in relief as soon as she saw only her bullets filling up the air in now small numbers. She then decided that it was finally her chance and raised the spellcard for "Peerless Wind God". The tengu smirked and was about to summon another one when it came to her that she musn't use up all her cards from the beginning. "Oh well, I must have been carried away.." she thought, neglecting her plan.After bringing her focus back to the battle, she decided to watch her opponent's reaction closely as she wanted to gather more information about the samurai. Inside, Aya thought she was quite an interesting character, and made a mental note to visit her often after the case has been solved.

The samurai moved quickly back into the stage, flied cumbersomely among Aya'a spellcard, finding all the air a turbulent factor to this entire thing.

Aya's thoughts were interrupted as soon as she heard the battle cry, and proceeded to dodge the danmaku again. Meira was pretty smart, she thought to herself, and she had to find a way somehow to weave towards her weakness. Surprisingly, her spell card timed out quicker than she thought, so she decided to cast a new one. She raised another spell card, Crossroad Sign "Saruta Cross", immediately, not willing herself to lose. Why did her previous card disappear so suddenly? This question bugged the tengu and she couldn't concentrate well, greatly disturbed at the thought.

Random Russian oJo You can start thinking of your next stage!... Or you can see if Meira knows anything. Depends how Epic you think Aya is~
She grazed a bit of the damaku before the rest knocked her off the air, crashing through the canaopy. Her sword follow, down below Meria rumbled, moving to try and get up,"DAMN TENGU."
