The Holy Magician flew across the mountains and caves of Mt. Youkai searching for the possible sources. He was wondering if Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, or even Youmu or Sakuya would be curious to investigate this themselves. He thought to himself, "Oh well, if they show up, I can always lend them a hand.". Suddenly, he noticed a mole youkai carrying a shovel and was sitting all by herself. John thought to himself, "Maybe I should ask this youkai about the tremors we been having lately? She might know something." He slowly flew closer towards the mole and asked her politely, being careful not to look like a challenger like Reimu or Marisa would normally. Then he said, "Excuse me, have you noticed these mild earthquakes around here? I been hearing reports about aftershocks coming from this mountain and tengu are on alert. I wouldn't be surprised if the Kappa and Oni were aware of this too. I hope Suwako and Kanako are aware of it as well. You wouldn't know about it would you?"

John replied, "Hmmmm....... sounds like something else may be at work here. By the way, who are you and what's your name?"

He then replied, "Nice to meet you. Im John. You don't have to call me by "SIR", my first name is fine by me. I never was into much formalities. I been wanting to look around here and check on some things that might be causing the earthquakes. Care to ride with me?" He offers Youni a ride on his broom on the back area. John then waves his wand on his own broom and creates a set of pasanger foot pedestals for her to prop her feet on in case if they would have to fly fast if a tremor hit. John then said quickly, "Oh, don't worry. Those are foot props like you have on a motorcycle."

John then answered "It's ok. You don't have to if you don't want too. Oh and I see your looking at something? Is it this broom?" Narie shook her head yes and John replied again. "Like this broom? It came with the outfit. I was wondering what you thought of my outfit too? I wandered if you ever noticed a girl in black dressed almost similar. I too wasn't used to flying long ago. and if asked what a motorcycle is? It's what some humans ride on in the outside world. It's between a car and a bicycle. It' engine is pretty loud so some people have to tolerate noise to be able to ride one."

John replied "Ok, I see. I'll go check it out. Thanks for everything." John took off flying to the direction Yochi pointed too. Later ..... John didn't fly too far since the tremors were coming directly from this mountain. He got the feeling that the youkai wasn't being too honest about the earthquakes. So he flew to the direction of the Moriya temple and seeked audience with the mountain gods.

Thinking to himself, "That mole youkai looked cute but she acted like she was protecting something. She didn't seem to honest. The direction where the sun rises? Don't sound like the truth to me. It's a good ting I took a detour around that direction, that way she thinks im heading to the wrong direction. I better go to the Moriya shrine and report this to the gods, and stop by the tengu village to see either Aya or Hatate along the way." John flew up higher to the higher levels of the mountain. Before he did, he placed an object that looked like a big rock and dropped it in the tunnel where he was with Yochi, (He intended to drop it on purpose). It was actually a technical devise that measures seismic activity and could also ease drop conversations even from afar. He had the controls in his items cache. John thought to himself again, "Good thing I came prepared just in case. My companion invented this just in case I ever ran into the suspect's spot. Now to see Suwako. She should know about these ground dwellers." He continued to fly to the very top of the mountain and straight ahead was the Moriya shrine. He spotted Sanae sweeping the pavement of the shrine,s walkway. John flew down to talk to her. John spoke to Sanae "Hi there Sanae. How are you today?" She replied, "Im fine John. You look troubled. Is something a matter?" John then said, "I been investigating the tremors coming from this mountain lately, I came across this mole youkai and she acted like she was hiding something. I tried to talk to her and get her to help me look around, but she refused to ride on my broom. She seems like a low level youkai to me but she didn't sound too honest either. I left a high tech probe behind just incase she tries something or reveals something else." Sanae then replied, "Sounds like a good plan. Although I never use such contraptions." John then said, "By the way, I need to see Suwako and Kanako, are they at.....". As soon before John could finish, his cell phone rang and vibrated and John answered, "Hello?". The one calling was Aya. She spoke over the phone, "John, I seen another possible suspect of that aftershock incident. Looks like some girl with a sword. I check it out myself but im too busy with other things. Think you can check it out?" John then replied, "Im on my way. Thanks Aya.". John hangs up the phone and turns back to Sanae. "Sorry honey, I got to go. Be sure to tell Suwako and Kanako for me ok?" Sanae then said, I sure will. It's my duity as the Moriys shrine maiden afterall. Thanks for warning us." John then said, "No problem. I need to check out the suspect farther down. I'll see you later. Bye." John flew away from the Moriya shrine and flew downward from the direction of the shrine and flew past the area where he investigated last. He flew downward to the direction of the area where Aya spotted that girl with the sword.
