Krios stood in front of the door, with his forehead pressed onto it. "This is a nine." he said as he stared at the number that was screwed onto the hardwood. "This is room 9 because this number is a nine. A little ball with a tail. I've always thought that a nine looks like a tadpole, or like ...-" he snickered like a child.
He took the keys the keys the vice-principal had given them and tried to put them in the lock. "They've given us the wrong keys" He stated as he failed multiple times to put the key in the hole. His hand-eye coördination was completely off due to the alcohol. After about a minute of stubborn fondling, he was able to finally open the door.
First thing he did was to plump down on the nearest bed and sigh. It wouldn't be long before he would go into a drunken sleep. Before that, he forced himself to sit up on the bed and look at Vezara. "Thanks... for the support you've given me" He said, not only referring to the way back to school, but for the night in general. He looked down afterwards, still too ashamed to maintain eyecontact. ((was gone from the civilized world for a few days, sorry))

[Vezara Selyn] The Dragoon raised an eyebrow and smirked with amusement at Krios' mutterings about the number nine. He was right of course, but Vezara had never thought about it. "You know... You're right. How nice." He chuckled lightly. "Nine is not eight. And it is not ten. Nor is it two hundred and seventy-four. Because then it wouldn't be nine. But it is nine. Which is our room."Vezara waited patiently for his friend to open the door. He raised his arms when the Satyr finally got it open. "Victory! Huzzah for the heroic Satyr warrior, Krios, and his faithful scaled companion."Vezara sat on one of the other beds and let his tail fall idly on his clawed feet. He smiled and didn't push the issue of supporting Krios. The cursed blush resurfaced for a mere moment under the scales of Vezara's face. He flexed his wings and mentally slapped himself. It was just the effects of the alcohol, nothing more... Right? "Heh, well, that's what friends are for, no? If you ever need anything, you just need to say it."

"On the contrary, my friend. If there's anything YOU need, YOU just need to say it." He said, emphasizing both "you"s with voice and finger movement. The blush could of course not be seen by Krios because of the layer of scales, but even in his drunken state, he felt the dragoon was a bit tense. If he weren't drunk he'd probably be able to figure out why exactly. Therefore, he got rather tactless. "you seem tense. Want me to massage your shoulders?"

[Vezara Selyn] The blush came back in full force and Vezara had to take a moment to process what Krios just said. Did he imagine it? No. This was honestly happening. He was thankful that Krios couldn't see his blush. Otherwise, he might have understood what was going on in the Dragoon's mind. And that would be awkward on multiple levels. What if Krios didn't have similar feelings? "Haha, you don't have to." Vezara waved one hand, trying to look casual despite his growing nervousness. "I-I'm fine." Did he just stutter? He hoped not. And if he did, he hoped Krios was too drunk to notice.

"I don't have to? That just sounds like a polite refusal" he dismissed Vezaras retort with a wave of his hand. He'd already gotten up from his bed and went to sit behind Vezara. "Don't worry. I've massaged lots of goats who suffered from arthritis, so I've gotten quite skilled at this" He chuckled. He started to knead Vezaras shoulders, with the jacket still on. "well... yes, this is tense" He stated as he felt the great muscles of the dragoons neck and shoulders. He was quite impressed by the massiveness of the muscles. He didn't know whether they were actually stiff, or whether he just wasn't strong enough to manipulate them.
His ears, and cheeks, which were already quite flushed by the booze, now got even warmer and therefore redder. Though he didn't realize it at first, he blushed.

[Vezara Selyn] Vezara's blush deepened. He gave a nervous little laugh. "Well, uh, thanks I suppose." It wasn't like him to be so flustered. He found himself a little grateful that Krios was behind him. At least then there was less risk of the Satyr noticing exactly what was going on. His shoulders relaxed a tiny bit under Krios' hands. The Satyr certainly knew what he was doing, though Vezara's bulky build probably made it hard to work comfortably. The jacket in the way likely wasn't helping. "Let me take off my jacket, make it a little easier...." The Dragoon slid off the leather jacket. He rarely wore a shirt when in a casual setting, primarily for the sake of convenience. It was a bother getting a shirt over his horns and around his wings every single day, but it was also a bit odd to waltz about completely shirtless. Hence the jacket was his favorite article of clothing. Without it, he felt vulnerable. Exposed, even.

Krios briefly forgot to breathe as the jacket was removed. Vezaras back was to be called impressive to say the least. The reason was not only the buffness of the muscles, or the interesting way the wings were attached to the body, but also the layer of scales that were arranged as if done by an artist. As the dragoon removed his jacket, the muscles rippled under the shining blue plates. "like waves in the ocean." he breathed, almost mesmerized. The sound of his voice immediately made him snap out of it, and he sincerely hoped Vezara hadn't heard him. He shook his head. Alcohol was clearly something he shouldn't mess with too often. "Yeah... That'll make it easier." he said. He continued to massage Vezaras shoulders. Now the leather was gone, his hands could touch the scales immediately. The sensation of the scales was odd but not unpleasant.

[Vezara Selyn] Vezara though he heard Krios say something, but he didn't quite catch it. Maybe it wasn't important. But if it wasn't important, then why did Krios even say it? "Uh, what was that?" He was tempted to look over his shoulder, but didn't want to interrupt the massage. Krios' hands were soft and warm, and his skill made it a pleasant experience. He hadn't thought that someone touching him from behind could be so soothing. His tail gave a little swish. The movement was similar to that of a cat. The Dragoon's tail came to rest in his lap. Its tip twitched lightly, brushing the denim of Vezara's jeans.

"ehhh, n-nothing." He said quickly. He could headbutt the wall just now. What was wrong with him? His sharp tongue seemed to be dried up due to that damn alcohol. He continued to massage Vezaras shoulders, gradually concentrating on muscles that were located lower, on his back. He massaged the bases of his wings as well. Despite the situation, Krios was intrigued by how they were attached. They seemed to be like a second pair of shoulders. "How does that feel?" He asked while he kneaded the dragoons shoulders. He was unfamiliar with the way the muscles were attached, so he didn't know how exactly he had to knead them.

[Vezara Selyn] Vezara guessed whatever Krios had to say really wasn't that important. Oh well. If the Satyr wanted to talk about it later, then Vezara would listen. It wasn't a big deal. He felt Krios' hands go lower to his back. A small shudder ran up and down his spine as he felt the warm hands at the bases of his wings. "Ahh..." He sighed softly and closed his eyes. "I-it's nice... I'm a little more sensitive there, so..." His voice trailed off. The scales around his wings were a little smaller and thinner than the rest on Vezara's back. This allowed for ease of movement and increased flexibility. The wings themselves were leathery and thick, like bat wings. The absence of scales on the membrane meant they were extra sensitive, for the purpose of detecting wind currents while airborne. Part of Vezara wished Krios would touch his wings, and the rest was being lulled by the Satyr's gentle kneading.

Krios was pleased to hear his massage did any good. He noticed the scales on the wings were smaller, and more delicate than on the rest of his back. It was only logical that that spot should be more sensitive. While he was kneading the base and the muscles of the wings, his elbow briefly brushed over the membrane of one of them. He was surprised of how smooth it felt. He bent over to take a closer look. He stroked the membrane with one hand and noticed the absence of scales. He then looked up and asked, genuinely interested "How is it possible that tissue as fine as this is able to support a dragoon of your size?" He looked back at the membrane and put a hand on each side, notifying it wasn't as thin as he had expected, but yet thin enough to keep his question legit.
((my apologies for the wait. I'm in a hotel and the wi-fi is to be called wonky at the least.))

[Vezara Selyn] Vezara felt Krios' hand on his wing membrane. His whole body gave a bit of a twitch, and the tips of his claws dug into the bed. "Ahh...!" The Dragoon felt himself relax an instant later. "Nnnn..."He gave Krios a brief glance over his shoulder. "It works kind of like a sail. When I spread my wings, they catch the wind and I ride the air currents. That's why it's easiest to fly when there's a lot of strong wind. It's possible to fly without any wind at all, but it's a little more tiring because it puts more strain on my wings. I use my tail to steer, and I can ascend or descend by angling myself up or down, respectively." He smiled softly. "It's not hard after you get enough practice."

Krios noticed how Vezara reacted to him touching his wings. They must be really sensitive, he reasoned, as he saw the dragoons claws dig into the bed. The less scales, the more sensitive, hmm? He continued to stroke the membrane, and experimented with the bones and joints of the wings. "Heh, you talk as if everyone could do it" Krios snickered. "Some people lack the wings." He said subdued.

[Vezara Selyn] Vezara shuddered again at the touch of Krios as his fingers explored his wings. "Wh... mmm..." The Dragoon's eyes closed halfway for a moment. It really did feel good. Vezara had to admire the Satyr's healing touch. It took real skill to be able to work such bulky muscles. "The world would be happier if we could all fly," he said with a small sigh. "It's a good feeling. Maybe some time I should carry you on my back and you could see for yourself." He'd never offered to take anyone flying with him before. It was a strange feeling, but not a bad one. So this was what having a friend meant. Enjoying each other's company. Another wave of heat passed under Vezara's face. It was stronger this time, more noticeable. He hoped Krios didn't notice, though all it would take was a glance in the right direction. ((Just in time for college to start sucking out my soul! XD))
