My Idea is maybe.... "Necromancer" Grey Knights. ( Here is my attempt at justifying. WITH FLUFF.)
Grand master Nespar of the Grey Knights was in the middle of battle against a Necron tomb planet. The resulting mbattle was a horrendous loss on the part of the Grey Knights. They were held on the planet in stasis when they were awoken. They were tortured and introduced to a number of terrible surgeries that made them essentialy the perfect soldiers. They are cold, all consuming and completely drained of any premonitions they kill and think nothing of it.
Thats my attempt give me some pointers ?

This is a terrible idea. Fluff wise any way.
However I'd love to see the conversion attempt at it.

Fluff does sound extra heretical, cos don't the grey beakies already have the best of the best geneseed directly from the Emperor?

They are of the Wardian Era, therefore they are the best of the best and their bestness could beat the Wardian Era Necrons because they are the best.

Dunno, from what ive been told the ward armies are all of the sudden very normal now that the 6th has rolled into view.

I'd imagine something similar to what happened with Space Wolves, where they'd fought so long in such isolated conditions that they started using chaos equipment to supplement and replace their own. Except in your case, it would be Necron equipment and components. You could even make the argument to take Necron allies, using a mix of technical expertise and Grey Knights psyker abilities to turn damaged Necrons against their own.

I keep trying to picture a conversion. I cant do it..all i come up with is a Grey Knight with a Necron head. :I plz help.
