These classes are held outside, down by the Ground Keepers area. There's a wide space between the trees where shade is welcome in the summer and the animals feel safer. When it rains, you do a theory lesson in a spare classroom.
Current Assignment: Bring up a faerie and answer the following questions as you do:

What does the larvae not have?

How does it defend itself?

Other:

Can you use parts of faeries for potions?

"Well!" the professor boomed cheerfully as he walked out on the field, holding a big heavy plant that he carried carefully "We've got a good lesson today, fifth years! However, there's gonna be a lot of homework." He gently put down the plant and looked around "Er... yeah you, come out here!" he grabbed Mr Melody by the shoulder in a friendly way and reached into his jacket "Hold out your hand a minute..." he told him, and handed him a little stand that an ornament might sit on, before Professor Gate pulled out a faerie in a jar, which he opened.

5th Year He looked at the faerie admiring her simple features and dazzling wings with awe as she fluttered over to his hands and posed for the class, showing off her beauty with her vanity "She's... really pretty." he stated, and blushed slightly.

"Indeed. This is a faerie. They're vain and generally are very pretty little creatures." The professor looked at Tim "Do you know what people usually assume about them?"

Professor Gate grinned "Some can be mischievous if you don't bring them up right, but generally they're just quarrelsome. No, the usual assumption is that they can talk, but they cannot." He looked at the faerie "However, you can teach them to do what you want by using pitch." He pulled out a little device that looked like a whistle, but when he blew into it all you could hear was a high pitched buzzing noise. The faerie responded with similar noises and folded her arms like she was upset. He did it again, and the faerie flew over to the plant and lifted up a leaf, that hid roughly 50 faerie eggs. "The homework." he explained as he took back his stand and nodded thanks to Tim "Is to bring up a faerie."

 Nimue was quietly coming through the forest. She wrote down thing about notes that is with what is going on with issues and what not. That this ravenclaw student she looked up at the creature. The half goblin look up at the two of them.That there diminutive intelligent and a bit vain.That was it she was read a book somewhere and there in children books as well. She looked over at the hufflepuff she look human just about but her finger were long liked goblin finger and she was quiet about something and what not.

He walked over and carefully removed a small egg with a miniature spade-like object and placed it onto a new leaf, that was empty. "Faerie numbers haven't been great recently, so we've been asked to try and increase their numbers slightly by the Ministry." Professor Gate told them "Your year seems the most responsible to me, so you're going to help me on this operation. Everyone take a leaf, and an egg, just the way I did there. If you kill your egg, tough. You fail." he warned, "Get going, then! Class dismissed, get your faerie stuff and look into your textbooks and find out what you need to do. If you get stuck, I'm always open for questions!" He called and looked over his class. "Ah, Nimue Barker, isn't it? I was wondering if I could talk to you." he added

5th Year He hurriedly went over to get best pick and got an average size leaf before kneeling by the plant to get his egg. Tim found the biggest egg he could and carefully scooped it up onto his, before rushing off to find out how to keep it safe, but out of the way.

Michikcvamp Nimue did not want to talk about her home life was well okay.She pick up the egg.Her home life was strange yes she never invite over because her god father was werewolf. It state in will in black and white that she taken care of by him. She wrote everything down in type of planner and the egg careful."Yeah professor you can if you want too." She was little nervous but all right she was quiet waiting for him to go on or say his peace. That she tend did not talk about or whatever he want to talk about. It help her to remember that why she wrote everything down and goes over things book she look at. She was so quiet all the same as she look back over at her.She was little nervous but okay they talk to one another all the same.

He watched the rest of the students go and walked up to Nimue, looking at her as though he was fascinated by some sort of creature he'd never seen before. Suddenly, he grabbed her hand and studied her fingers. He held her hand in a firm grip, but his demeanor hadn't changed, he was still collected and had a kind air about him "Are the rumours true?" he wondered aloud, before he looked at her "Are you really half goblin?"

Michikcvamp Michikcvamp Nimue thought be about school work.Not about what is word rumor and about what she was that is.It took her awhile to collect her thoughts on somethings. She did not listen to the rumor because they might end up hurting her feelings.Rumors? I ignored the rumors. Because one can hurt once feelings by listening to them go on about it.She said to the half goblin and what not with one another. Yes I am really half goblin.She look behind and then she stood up tip toes and whisper words careful making sure no one watching she did not want that get out that she admit it to the teacher.

Nimue thought he would be bit more grown up about this and not listen to here say. Most she stared at him where was he getting ideas about her. That was far from truth he so far off that area. Her mom was killed by death eater and so was her father. She was so quiet about it and he look back at him. No I don't live with a vampire. That's crazy because one blood suck right out there body and they end up dead because of it if I was live with them. So you see don't I lived with a vampire because that can be dangerous..As for a squib as you say no I don't live with them either."She was just liked him we have five finger and everything. She rub her head she was getting headache and the reason was now she hearing all the rumor and here she thought Thomas more grown up about it.She was not denied the fact she was living with a werewolf but she was not going to talk about all the same. Though she correct him on what he heard but not one part of it.

He smiled slyly, realising that she didn't deny living with a werewolf. "So you live with just a werewolf, then?" The professor looked her up and down "Any scars from when he lost his temper, anything like that?" he asked excitedly.

Michikcvamp Nimue came all way here to be education. But she bit her lips in thought looking back at him.She had gotten so quiet and she quietly cross her arms. She was not sure how to deal with a adult that is with him. She gotten quiet listening to him go on about it.He has name that is he is not just a werewolf. Just liked everyone. His last name is Ashcroft. He would prefer him calling him Ashcroft. My godfather has never lay a hand on me. He rather you call you called him Mr.Ashcroft.Because that is his name..She looked emotional upset by this man because that he might bring up fact about her parent were killed.She just want a normal life but it was not extremely not so.Did he want to bring fact too add more to the rumor.She did not say but she defend him yes she felt that honor was at state.

He didn't really care about feelings, and ignored the fact she seemed a little upset. Professor Gate pretended to be oblivious, as he continued to pester her. His curiosity always got the better of him, and he'd stop at nothing to gather all the information he could before he decided it was enough. He'd never harmed anyone, of course, but he'd always go the extra mile in any case. "Mr Ashcroft, huh?" he gave a nod "Who'd he get bitten by? Was it someone low-key, or one of the big killers?"

Nimue did not liked the fact she did not called him by his name. He had someone as well. Too her she called daddy but that was it. She did not in beginning but she gotten quiet once again. She stay calm and she looked at him. He did not liked to talk about that type of stuff. My godfather does not liked talk about those type of things. So I can't really tell you. I did not really asked him that type of thing about him. That is how peace she did not asked who did what that is how peace within the house no war or anything just quiet and sometime he put on classical music and sometime she sung some songs to him. He liked that and what not that is.That was it he was not going to get anywhere with her..That is on good say day that is then he has bad days of course which he goes straight lock himself in there for quiet a bit and she stay in the house.
