Hello there! Try outs are always open so we can excite everyone with new activities! Everyone is invited to play! (If you're a first year and someone applies for your place that isn't a first year, they'll have it. This rule may change.) Also you can't apply to just be the Team Captain, you have to be something else on the team as well.

RP Example: He waited as the crowd piled in and settled down into their seats, before getting a tap from the Headmistress that told him they were ready to begin. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Hogwarts Quidditch games! Today, Slytherin will go against Ravenclaw!" he waited for the roaring in his ears to settle before he continued "And here they come now, Ravenclaw looked pumped and prepared! Who thinks they can do this?" the crowd cheered again, but the Slytherins generally stayed quiet "Ah, here come Slytherin! No way, they all have Nimbus 3000s!" Shesha gasped "This is going to be an interesting game for sure... Now hold on to your hats, because here comes the quaffle!"

RP Example: He was not going to get distracted. The Slytherins could throw things at him, taunt him or even threaten him, but he would not take his eyes off that quaffle. He had to stop himself at least twice to not look at the seeker, and hope that they'd nearly got the snitch. He heard another voice, and felt a sharp throb where a rock had been propelled at him. The quaffle was at the otherside of the pitch, so he turned to see a familiar face glare at him from a Slytherin stand "You'd better let it in!" he howled to him, "Unless you want your bones bent in!" He got everyone chanting as Tim watched the quaffle come back this way.
You'd better let it in, He moved towards the Slytherin with the quaffle, who speedily approached.
Unless you want your bones bent in! Tim tried not to think of what happened after he saved his last goal, but he shuddered anyway as the Slytherin aimed.
Never mess with Slytherin! He would mess with Slytherin though, he wanted to win, just for once! So he barrel rolled towards the ball and caught it, in an impressive showy-off way. He risked looking back, and there sat an angry Slytherin, ready to jinx him when the game was over.

RP Example: Telia flashed a look around the practice field. She knew there was a mock game going on, so she decided to do her try-out here instead. A flash of gold caught her eye and she swerved in her flight pattern to dive after the tiny golden ball. She could hear the crowd roaring and she imagined that the roaring was for this game and the Gryffindors were encouraging her to grab the Snitch. She veered upwards away fro the ground and pulled up level, just behind the Snitch. She urged her broom to faster speeds and lunged outwards, her petite hand closing around it. She held it up in victory. "I got it!"

RP Example: He was racing it down the sides, keeping a keen eye out for an opportunity. It didn't really come, but when he saw his team mate in trouble, he veered down underneath him and caught the Quaffle. From there he maneuvered through the opposition and threw with all his might, earning 10 points for Gryffindor.

RP Example: He knew he was only on the team because no one else wanted to get beaten by the bludger, but that was good enough for him. It made him more physically fit and it was proven to help him with stress and a bunch of other stuff he didn't need. However, now wasn't really the time for facts and figures. As Cashile began to focus on the game, he watched out for the bludgers, making sure they stayed away from his team and made trouble for the other one. The opposition tried to slyly hit one his way, but Cashile leaned back and it slipped pass. He knew it would come back, but that was what he was counting on. As it veered towards him he found his centre of balance and whacked it hard into the chest of the beater, who plummeted to earth.

Position You Want: Chaser
RP Example: They were back in the game, using the new diamond technique they'd created and practised in practice. He flew to the top of the diamond and waited for his moment, but realised that it might not work. The Slytherin chaser holding the Quaffle was in place, but heavily outnumbered and throwing it up would be risky. However, he went for it, but Leo saw it start to fall towards the wrong hands. Breaking formation, he dived down and slammed through two opposition chasers, knocking one from his broom. He flew higher to try and lose them, but they were frustrated now and wouldn't give in. They managed to surround him, and with his team out of sight he couldn't throw the Quaffle. Someone flew above and kicked viciously into his head, causing him to spiral towards the ground, but before he went out like a candle he found his team and threw it with surprising strength. Leo witnessed them catch it as he felt the sand beneath his fingers...

RP Example: Anna zipped through the other players as she watched for the bludgers. Her team was counting on her to help them win this game. After the last game, she wasn't going to let them down this time. Just then, she saw Sara racing across the pitch. Right behind her, a bludger hot on her heals. Anna kicked into gear and raced to meet Sara. Dodging an opponent, she nearly lost the seeker for a moment. In no time at all, she was within arms reach of the bludger. Winding her arm up, she succeeded in veering the bludgers course. She watched as it hit the tip of an opponents broomstick and he ended up spiraling to the ground. A small victory she could rejoice over!

Shane kept her eyes open and her mind alert. She wouldn't let the quaffle past her. She saw the large ball head to her left. She zoomed in and batted away the quaffle with the end of her nimbus. She smiled to herself. Much easier than chasing the thing around the stadium.
