. it's a big confusing world out there . A lot of people enjoy one x one roleplays a lot more than group roleplays and there's nothing wrong with that, says this kind observer! If you like to roleplay, but you don't really want to roleplay in a group, this is the thread for you. I will maintain a list of member's roleplay profiles. That way, if someone is looking to find someone to roleplay with, they can look down through the list. Or, if they'd rather someone find them, they can fill out the form below, post it in the thread, and I'll add them to the list. Easy peasy. Experience: I've roleplayed for a very long time and have a lot of experience, but I've only very rarely roleplayed in the Homestuck fandom.
Literacy Level: Depending on how much my partner writes, I can turn out one to three paragraphs per response without an issue.
Looking For: I really like to roleplay the kids from Homestuck. :3 While I am a big fan of certain trolls and think they're really fun to play in their own way, the kids are always going to be my favorite.
Favorite Person: Dave comes in first, with John or Jade as close seconds.
Least Favorite Person: Nepeta or Aradia.
Perks: I really love all the pairings, pretty much. Het, yaoi, yuri, it's all good! If there's some romance in the roleplay, I always have fun. ;3
Deal Breakers: Anything that focuses too much on combat or on teenage angst is pretty much a deal breaker.
Also, I'd like to think I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to short posts, but bad grammar usually makes me run away like a scared little girl. Huntress Disciple HUNTRESS DISCIPLE  Name: Dissy, a nickname for Disciple that I go by on PC, whenever I'm on as theDisciple.(That's the only handle I can go on due to my terrible computer + PC + Internet combo, but it's not my registered handle) Experience: I've roleplayed for about 8 years now(The Mindfang/Aranea/Vriska group is pleased with this, I'm sure) so I should say I'm pretty experienced by now. :33 Literacy Level: I have this habit of copying the way my roleplaying partner roleplays, because in my opinion it is a much easier and smoother process if both of the roleplayers and putting in the same effort! If the person I'm roleplaying with is a higher level than I am, I make myself take the time to match them! Looking For: I'm really looking for Ancestor roleplays of all sorts, be it shipping, strifing, or simply talking, although I am more than willing to do other sorts of roleplays. I can play as other characters than the Disciple, as well! Favorite Person: Either of the Leo characters, mostly the Disciple, which is why I can't wait for her pre-scratch kid form! It'll be so fun to master playing as her too. Least Favorite Person: CAL. DEFINITELY CAL. He creeps the heck out of me.. I'm fine with playing along with the ships of others, crack or canon, even if I don't particularly ship the pairing. Deal Breakers: Angst and drama around every corner can get tiring for me, but I can put up with it for the most part. In the case that I can't handle it anymore, the worst I'll do is try to reach a compromise with my partner, and if one can't be reached, come up with a fun way to end or wrap up the roleplay so neither of us ends it with sour feelings! In general I've been roleplaying for about 7 years and I've been doing Homestuck roleplay on and off site for about several months now.
Literacy Level:
I like to consider myself anywhere between semi-literate and lit. advance. I can do about four to ten paragraphs depending on my inspiration and who i'm roleplaying with. Not gonna write ten paragraphs and only get two in return.
Looking For:
Anything really. I just like to roleplay. Though a 4chords/ Humanstuck roleplay sounds really interesting.

Rose ( I love her as character I just couldn't handle playing her)
Perks:
Cute fluffy stuff is always nice and such. I also don't mind AU's or anything like that. : ) Really I consider myself a decently easy going roleplayer.
Deal Breakers:
Might not count but it's something I experienced in the past. I can't stand when someone plays a character Mary-sue/ Self-insert/ or God mods. :C Sorry just can't do that. Experience: Ohhh, oh boy. Okay. Roleplay over all? I've been on and off gaia since it began in 2003. I admit over the i hope i've gotten better and I do like to make the lengthy post. While I admit, i'm not the best at wording [you know, using big fancy ones] I get by. In the Homestuck fandom however? I've only began the series the beginning of the year, I'm caught up now.. but.. my roleplaying is minimal. Mainly because for what I do relate in homestuck it's only running around in zOMG or in towns. Sad to say but true, that's not to say i don't know how - it's just with how elitest this fandom can get at times.. it makes me feel a little intimidated to try.
Literacy Level: PAGES. OH YE-- ...nah. Paragraphs usally. Sorry I saw the secret word there in parenthesis and felt like being a goof.
Looking For: Uhhh, ummmmm... I'm up for anything! ..Errr, mostly.. anything.. if the roleplay gets a little too.. uhhh.. intimate [if you know what i'm saying] i tend to panic and freak out and then curl into the fetal position so.. that's probably not the best of ideas.

As for homestuck, I've only roleplayed that once in my lifetime, but I'm very willing to improve my skill in it! ^u^ Literacy Level:I tend to be as literate as the person I'm roleplaying with is. I don't know why, but it's a habit. If I'm given a page-long response, I will return with a page-long response. {or...attempt. ♥} Even if I'm given a one-liner from the other person, I do my best to write as much as I possibly can. I'd say I'm rather literate! uwu~ Looking For:Nothing imparticular. ♥ Favorite Person: I will reluctantly admit that I have never actually roleplayed a canon homestuck. I've always been afraid of messing up their character despite the numerous wikipedias and information I've read. xD But if I did have a favorite, I would say Nepeta, Kanaya, or John. Least Favorite Person:See above, and most likely Calliope/Caliborn, and/or Dave/ Dirk. Perks:I love a bit of action/adventure in my roleplays-- also things with a hint of romance as well, is always fun, I think! n-n Deal Breakers:Drama-llamas. Those are never very fun. I mean, there's only a certain amount of drama/certain situations that I can take that may start to discourage me from posting. :c {Though, I'll do my best not to let that happen! ;;; } {Also, I will still be participating in group roleplays! But I'm always up for a good 1x1 as well~!}

In general I've been roleplaying for about 7 years and I've been doing Homestuck roleplay on and off site for about several months now.
Literacy Level:
I like to consider myself anywhere between semi-literate and lit. advance. I can do about four to ten paragraphs depending on my inspiration and who i'm roleplaying with. Not gonna write ten paragraphs and only get two in return.
Looking For:
Anything really. I just like to roleplay. Though a 4chords/ Humanstuck roleplay sounds really interesting.
Favorite Person:
Feferi, Vriska, Nepeta, Roxy, Karkat, Eridan, or Gamzee
Least Favorite Person:
Rose ( I love her as character I just couldn't handle playing her)
Perks:
Cute fluffy stuff is always nice and such. I also don't mind AU's or anything like that. : ) Really I consider myself a decently easy going roleplayer.
Deal Breakers:
Might not count but it's something I experienced in the past. I can't stand when someone plays a character Mary-sue/ Self-insert/ or God mods. :C Sorry just can't do that. Though I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.

Name: Username's cool, or uh.. you can call me whatever you want. *wink*
Experience: Ohhh, oh boy. Okay. Roleplay over all? I've been on and off gaia since it began in 2003. I admit over the i hope i've gotten better and I do like to make the lengthy post. While I admit, i'm not the best at wording [you know, using big fancy ones] I get by. In the Homestuck fandom however? I've only began the series the beginning of the year, I'm caught up now.. but.. my roleplaying is minimal. Mainly because for what I do relate in homestuck it's only running around in zOMG or in towns. Sad to say but true, that's not to say i don't know how - it's just with how elitest this fandom can get at times.. it makes me feel a little intimidated to try.
Literacy Level: PAGES. OH YE-- ...nah. Paragraphs usally. Sorry I saw the secret word there in parenthesis and felt like being a goof.
Looking For: Uhhh, ummmmm... I'm up for anything! ..Errr, mostly.. anything.. if the roleplay gets a little too.. uhhh.. intimate [if you know what i'm saying] i tend to panic and freak out and then curl into the fetal position so.. that's probably not the best of ideas.
Favorite Person: I CLEARLY LIKE GAMZEE. [The joke is it's Jake guys]
Least Favorite Person: Don't have one. COME AT ME BRO'S. =D
Perks: I'm up for anything, there's nothing I too strongly dislike. Well uh, other than the aforementioned curling of the fetal position... but even then it's not THAT bad. Throw me your ideas, cause.. otherwise uh.. well.. I'm pretty indecisive alone unfortunately.
Deal Breakers: Not too huge on the smut, I can read it all just fine.. roleplaying? Noooot so much. Other than that, i've got nothin'.
