Well Guild mates it's that time of the year when everybody makes their banlist prediction.

I thought I'd share my thoughts with you guys. So here it goes:

Banned:
Wind-Up Hunter: While it's true that Wind-Ups aren't very successful in the OCG Wind-ups till have a very powerful loop at their disposal. Even though it is easier to pull with all TCG exclusives we have it is still a problem. Some may argue that Hunter is in reality a bad card and that it should be Zenmaity that should be Limited but I would rather let Hunter go, because not only does it kill the loop but it also leaves Wind-Ups' competitive potential unscathed. They would go from a hand control deck to an Xyz spam deck which is what I like to believe was the intention when they were created. Hunter punishes you for trying to use your resources carefully, which shouldn't happen.

Inzektor Hornet: Again, some people argue that Dragonfly should be limited and Centipede Semi'd instead, but again, hitting those two kills Inzektors while banning Hornet still leaves them competitive potential with Ladybug. Hornet punishes you for playing cards which is something that shouldn't be so easy to repeat and give a +4 to your opponent every turn..

Limited:
Light-Pulsar Dragon: Limiting this card prevents hurts Chaos Dragons without having to ban Future Fusion. Pulling off the REDMD+LPD combo won't be as easy if they're harder to draw.

Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon: Another pivotal card in Chaos Dragons, what's up with me? Am I going to completely tear them to shreds with this prediction? No, not intentionally at least. Limiting REDMD wounds the Hieratic OTK without killing the deck like limiting Atum(Limiting him would prove how suicidal Hieratics are) would. Now, some of you Dragon enthusiasts may hate me for wanting him limited (ArcA Fox) but I really think it would help the game's health.

Dark Magician of Chaos: Yeah, yeah.. I know he was part of a super broken combo back in the old days. Just look at it from Konami's point of view. The other pieces to the combo are banned and "DMoC" would really help out the new Prophecy Archetype coming out. Unbanning him will boost their sales and all Konami really wants is to fill their pockets.

Snoww, Unlight of Dark World: Yes, this is a very good card. It basically says "Search whatever you want" in Dark Worlds. Konami always hits consistency first so that's why I think this will be punished and not Grapha.

Glow-Up Bulb: Let's be honest, this was banned by Konami to promote Xyzs and kill synchro decks. Lonefire Blossom should have been banned not Glow-Up.

Semi-Limited:
Rescue Rabbit: Some of you guys might want this little guy banned. Others may want his best friend Evolzar Laggia bannedbut in reality neither deserves it. Why? Hey now, I'm not a Dino-Rabbit player but Laggia kicked away from the game makes Evolzaurs useless. And quite honestly, Rabbit is a fairly well designed card. It is a bad card compared to his predecessor, Rescue Cat and it doesn't help Rabbit that Priority isn't here anymore to cover its back. It is other cards that make it such an issue today which reminds me of...

Tour Guide of the Underworld: This card is so... Troublesome. Drawing it equals an instant Xyz most of the time and in Dino Rabbits it equals a Leviar which in change equals another Dolkka or Laggia. This card is insanely splashable and semi-limiting it hits its consistency without making it useless. It's true that it is a TCG exclusive, but I don't think that's gonna save it from what it deserves.

E - Emergency Call: Heroes are doing well in the OCG and Konami always hits consistency first. They can still do well with just two of these.

Miracle Fusion: Another hit to Heroes, it won't kill them to lose one of these.

Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind: Alright, alright.. This may seem a little too biased to some of you coming from your Blackwing-using captain, but Blackwings have been dead for a long time. They were completely killed by previous lists and could use the boost.

No longer in the list:
Reborn Tengu: Nobody uses this card anymore. I haven't seen it played in months.

Magic Cylinder: Same as Tengu.

You haven't seen Trishula played recently because she is banned. Also, There is a very troublesome and time consuming loop in Infenity decks that could summon her many times and OTK. It's a complicated loop but very overpowered. It's not just Infernities but other decks revolving around her. I don't think she'll be coming back this next banlist.

As for Six Samurais.. They are not Tier 1. They're Tier 2/ Tier 1.5 at best. While Gateway and Six Samurai United are great cards I don't think they'll get hit at all.

I know. I said it as a joke.

I think you accidentally placed Stratos in the Limited rather than banned.

Anyways, I don't think we'll see any new Hero cards in the limited zone. I think They'll Semi a couple at least. And to be honest with you, I don't ever want to see Reborn go.

Limiting Hornet and Hunter does absolutely nothing. All Wind-Up decks that do the hand loop don't run more than one Hunter. Same for Inzektor Hornet, sure it slows them down a tiny bit at most and makes a D.D. Crow Deadly, but one Hornet is all you really need.

This list is on Vjump in it's magazine and confirmed by Shriek. It certainly deals with a lot of problems and protects us from future terrors like the Gishki Hand Rape, Gadgets and an Atlantean and Mermail deck. It also hurts Dino Rabbit, A Hero Alive OTK, Chaos Dragons, Hieratic, and very likely killed Wind-Ups and Inzektors. Overall, I'm fine with this list, it doesn't really affect me in any major way other than allowing me to run 2 Kaluts. What do you guys think?
