Here lies the list of all those on our fair isle that could be referred to as NPCs, that is, they are characters run by an unknown person, that serve to advance the plot or make more interesting a voyage or event.
There are several varieties of NPC on this island, including but not limited to;
-Pirate NPCs- Post 2 -Native NPCs- Post 3 -Foreign NPCs- Post 4 -Seasonal NPCs- Post 5 -Familiars and Pets- Post 6
A note; NPCs in this guild will not have the [NPC] disease that affects the NPC population of greater Gaia.

Pirates These are the NPCs that you will see ordinarily wandering the town of Bridgetown, drinking in the pub, sailing with our crews, and generally acting like any other pirate on the island.
SamMap-The brother of Governer ZamMap, he is often seen on ships, in the Bridge Town Pub, or just wandering the isle. His frequent wandering has resulted in his capture by the natives on one occasion. He also fathered a daughter in a rather... unusual manner... see below. 5amMap -The Governer's daughter, she was fathered by SamMap, her mother's brother, in an incident which will remain uncertain, as far as the islanders are concerned. When she was being birthed, she was feared by the pirates to be some sort of demon. This proved not to be true, as she tends more towards biting and cooing than fiery acts of destruction. That_man_on_the_street -Nobody knows anything about him. Arthur Rudd -A man claiming to have crashed his ship offshore. The said ship contained gorillas, as it was a 'sea-faring circus'. Currently searching for his lost gorillas. Most notably, Tam Tam.

Natives The locals, so to speak. They are divided into two tribes, the Proca and the Ogobou Bone Throwers. Not seen by any for many years, they are beginning to make their prescence known. The Proca - Little is known about this tribe as of yet.Prince Enola -The leader of the Proca, though the real power lies with the Tribal Elders and the Shamen. He was given the throne when his father went missing, and due to his youthfulness is easily bossed around by the Elders. Shamen Atabey -The mystic defender of the tribe and their way of life. She is not intimidated by the Elders, nor does she often take heed of the Prince's instructions. She is rumored to possess great magical abilities, rivalled only by those of Fred. Tribe Elder Ekirai -One of the higher ranking in the Tribal Council of Elders, he is, like the others of his status, intimidated by the Shamen and manipulative of the Prince. He is especially suspicious of the activities of the Shamen and the pirates. -------------------------------- The Ogobou Bone Throwers -Almost nothing is known of this elusive tribe, aside from the fact that they reside in the Volcano on the island. Rumored to be a dangerous and evil people.

Foreigners Those who do not live on the island but who have nevertheless managed to make their presence known. Spanish - There is little to show that the Spanish ever visited this island, aside from it's Spanish name. Any settlements they built have been erased by the Jungle, the Volcano, or the Sea.------------------------------- British - Nothing is yet known of the British prescence on the Island, except for a few dropped names.Captain Edward Mason -Commanding Officer of the H.M.S. SAPPHIRE. Edward Mason, being a man of Old World Traditions, prides himself on upholding the Honor of the British Empire. Having been comissioned with Orders from the Admiralty to stop the French from bringing the War into the Waters of the Western World, he shall stop at nothing to fulfill his duties... unless of course it means dying to do so. Corporal Collingwood - A lackey of Captain Mason, Collingwood is a sniveling little man that serves as Head of the Marines. A squadron commissioned to tend to the well being of one of His Majesty's Ships. ------------------------------- French- There is known to be at least one French crew with their eyes on the island's gold, but otherwise little is known of them.The Brother's MeurtreFrancis Meurtre - ??? Jacques Meurtre -???

Seasonal These folks only show up once or twice a year, usually with a set purpose in mind. Pirate Santa Claus - A fat, occasionally jolly fellow who arrives once a year with his huge and heavily armed elves to deliver toys to those pirates deemed as "good". He speaks in a heavy Russian accent, is rumored to eat babies, and is known to have choked three fanboys to death with plushies. You would be ill-advised to sit on this Santa's lap. He has been sighted out of season, usually in the town of Barton.

Pets and Familiars All those who are not people, and are generally attached to one person. Pets, weapons, and the sort. Pets - Animals often seen with or near their owner. Some serve special purposes, others are simply there.Bearsnack (the Masculine) - Dr. Morgan's elder cat, he is the white one who leaves the doctor only rarely. He is getting on in years, but still more than capable of becoming a flying ball of terror. Fond of fancy dishes and eating out of the garbage. Artemis - The younger of Dr. Morgan's cats, she is generally best avoided. She could easily be described as psycotic and homicidal. Once bit off Captian Ardrick's ear, apparently mistaking it for a monkey. O__o Fluffy - Darkwhiskers' cat. He often carries out various tasks for his owner, spying or fighting as necessary. Morgain Celeste - Captain Cochrane's Courier Raven. Ironically, "Morgaine Celeste" was secretly presented as a gift of sorts to Captain S. Cochrane from Britain's own infamous Lord Admiral Horatio Nelson, after aiding him in pulling his 3rd Class Frigate H.M.S. Agamemnon from a shallow shoal just off the Coast of Brazil when he was still a Post-Captain. Besides saving his career, Cochrane also saved Nelson's ship, crew & cargo that consisted of 300 pounds of French goods taken from an earlier encounter with a French privateer. Unfortunatley, Cochrane laid claim to the ship's prize and claimed it for the Lady. Once he was back in England, Nelson wrote Cochrane, sending him Morgaine to deliver the letter. Nelson had been originally intended Morgaine to be used as a courier bird between the two men, but she eventually came to know Cochrane very well and came to be known as the symbol of his presence. Her image can be seen on his personal pendent that flys from his ship. Sylvester - Captain Ardrick's pet lemming. Has a habit of attempting to walk off cliffs, and is generally depressed. He is obedient to his master and can pull himself away from the cliffs when he is needed. The DK Clan - Arthur Rudd's circus troupe of gorillas. Since their arrival, they have proven useful in one mainland skirmish. Since then, nobody has seen them. Rumor has it they were last seen venturing around the Volcano. ------------------------------- Familiars - Weapons, special non-living objects, etc.Fred - The most fearsome weapon on the Island, Fred is the demonically inclined axe, and some believe, master of Darkwhiskers. His power is unmatched by any weapon he has yet encountered, and the only being known to be able to stand up to him is the Shamen of the Proca. Bonky Bombs- Chef Merlin's little explosive helpers, they can be used to carry out ordinary tasks around the house and restruant or as a powerful weapon. Cute, but don't let them get too close to the fireplace.

The Shaman with a hangover? Unlikely...
That woman is the closest thing to a girl-scout as you'll get around Provoka. I don't think she'd ever even consider toughing our 'fire-water'. Good luck getting that Brownie to touch the stuff.
('Brownie', as in Girl Scout)
