Eddie sat down next to Sterenna, shaded by a tree. Everyone had been fortunate enough to enjoy the weather in his herd, even Akuba was giving it a try. Although the hot weather and hardly a drop of rain made things a little dry sometimes, recently they were lucky enough to catch some rain. Now rain would be something that some soquili would associate with fizzling out a good day, but this wasn't so for Eddie, it brought him the rainbow. He wished Sterenna was with him to see it, maybe she did see it, he wasn't sure.
The light flecks reflected off her wings and out into the atmosphere.
"Sterenna…did you see that rainbow the other day?"
Star lidted her head, having moved her wing to let him get close, it now spread wide again resting lightly on his back, the delicate parts tremblign with every breath and beat of her heart. "A Rainbow, I'm not sure, I usually find shelter when it rains so my wings don't get wet and ruind. I think I might have seen part of it from where I was standing." She rememebred some colour but when your under something with no easy clear view of the sky it can be hard to tell.
Eddie always forgot sometimes just how delicate those wings could be, he tried not to move so much when they gentle rested on him. "One day I want to take you to see one just like it, when the rain settles and goes away. It was really special and I wanted to share it with you. I don't want to miss any moments like that again without you. I don't know what it was about it, but it was beautiful, just like you." He smiled and rested his head lightly on her shoulder. Smiling down at him as he rests against her, blowing the feathers in his mane playfully, watching them flutter. "I don't want to miss any moments like that either. Every moment together is precious." The ear closest to Star flickered at the tackily feeling of moving feathers and air. "It is." He agreed with her whole heartedly, and now he thought he was crazy for making his wish. Oh how he missed that lock of hair, he hoped she wouldn't notice it missing, sure it'd grow back in time.
"Do you believe in gods and magic?" He gulped a little, he was sure there was something which brought him to it.

Star smiled, laughing softly. "I'm a fluttercorn... I shrink in size to fly, I have a healing horn though I'm not as good with that as a unicorn. But if not magic what allows me to do such things, and if not gods who gave that magic to us?" "It all seems so natural to me, I never thought of it in that way. I've just grown up with the concept and never questioned it like that. I just don't want to seem mad you know before I tell you that I think it might've been magical." Edward blushed and couldn't bring himself to look at her straight.
Turning her head around so she can place a soft kiss on his nose. "Thinking something is magical is not foolish... Many perfectly natural things are magical I think, we just take it for granted because they are so common."
Every nerve on Eddie's nose tingled and he blushed more,"I think you're right." He smiled and kissed her neck, "I just thought maybe if I made a wish it might come true? I know it's not a star but", he shrugged lightly,"I don't know."

Star tilted her head, looking at Eddie. "I don't know about wishes, what makes them more likely to come true or not, but I suppose if something seems magical and you wish hard enough with all your heart... Anything can happen." "Wishes are sometimes a little too impossible, I try to keep things simple. Some people wish to be famous, or to have wealth in objects. I don't want that though." He gave a shy smile,"I was thinking that maybe one day we could start a family…when we both feel ready to do so." He nodded to assure himself his thoughts should be said aloud.A blush steals over her cheeks, not sure why but the thought of that made her heart patter faster. "Is that what you wished for?" Not quite sure if that was actually her voice, she loved Eddie, he was wonderufl to her, had been a perfecct gentleman from the day they met. But family was something she had only briefly indulged herself to think about.
He wondered if it'd jinx his wish, it probably would, but it was not his specific wish. Wishes didn't have rules, he was sure of it, he just wouldn't be so specific is all. "If I told you my wish do you think it'd jinx it?" Eddie frowned a little, he was maybe moving too fast for her to catch up. "I'm sorry Star, I'm just being silly." He shrugged it off a little, his blush began to fade to a lighter shade of pink.Star looks down at him. "I don't know... they are supposed to be secrets till they come true... But I suppose if its a wish that involve more than just you, then you might need to risk it... if you wished for a family, you will be needing help with that."
"Then I can't tell you my exact wish then", he bopped her gently on the nose and smiled. "If I did wish for one then yes that is true. But I think wishes take time to come true if they do at all, it all takes time." Eddie didn't want her to worry to much about his own wishes, he wanted her to have her own too.Nodding in agreement having been caught by surprise when he bopped her on the nose. Sneezing looking a little surprised only to look at him and smile, laughing a little embarrassed. "Well whatever you wished I hope it comes true..... And I'd like for us to have a family together too." Blushing more as she says that. Eddie jumped a little when she sneezed, even her sneezes were very feminine. "In time my star, there's no rush now but it'd be a nice thing to have when ever it happens." Nodding and resting her head down, relaxing in the sun again, smiling to herself. "When the time comes..." Eddie let out a small chuckle,"you're so peaceful and accept everything I do." He gave a big sigh of relief,"thank you."
