Carved into the black onyx obelisk at the south end of the city are the laws the Nameless One has given to the Rosin to follow:
The Law of Consumption
All shall take only what is necessary, and that shall be provided by the constructs. Anything more will hereafter be known as a sign of greed. Greed is not welcome within Toxicity's walls. Rosin will be allowed the following items:
Females:
7 outfits and/or dresses 2 costumes 7 pairs of underwear 7 pairs of sleepwear 7 pairs of socks 7 pairs of shoes 7 pieces of jewelry and/or accessories 2 pieces of lingerie for adults 7 CDs 7 books 2 perfumes 7 electrical appliances 10 pieces of furniture 3 pieces of entertainment 1 complete make up set 5 towels 3 changes of linen
Males:
7 outfits and/or suits 2 costumes 7 pairs of underwear 7 pairs of sleepwear 7 pairs of socks 7 pairs of shoes 7 pieces of jewelry and/or accessories 7 CD?s 7 books 2 aftershave and/or cologne 7 electrical appliances 10 pieces of furniture 3 pieces of entertainment 5 towels 3 changes of linen
All other consumption is monitored and enforced by the Goods and Services constructs. You may exchange your belongings for others, but never more than the regulated totals. Do not over consume your products, as these are adequate amounts of food and items.
Law of Influence
Visitors may enter the city, and are to come and go as they please. Objects brought from outside the city must be reported to my chosen representative (OOC: this would be Sparks). Visitors may discuss subjects originating from outside the city, but nothing that would influence the decisions of the Rosin.
Law of Leaving
Rosin may leave the city, but must return within a week of their departure, reporting anything they bring back to my chosen representative. Before leaving you must place your hand upon the obelisk and state your destination. Those who fail to do so will be reprimanded. Rosin may enter the forest, but stick to the path. Rosin are never to go to the mountain, enter the Grey Tower, or enter the Industrial Complex.
Law of Destruction
Rosin are not to cause the city or any of its inhabitants harm. Constructs can be interacted with, but never turned from their assigned tasks. Rosin are not to deface, litter, or destroy any part of the city. This includes all of the items other Rosin own. Causing harm to another Rosin will be met with punishment. Causing death to another will be your undoing. Also note, if you cause anyone to break this law by verbal abuse, mental abuse, or by doing to him or her what he or she wish not to be done, then the victim shall be excluded from this law. The law shall still be valid for the guilty individual, and if they break this law for retaliation, they will be punished.
Follow these laws and your lives shall be plentiful. Purposely break them, and you will face punishment.
I will always be watching.
The Banned List
There is a sign in front of the city, set a goodly distance from the entrance to explain a list of items not allowed in the city. It was placed there to reduce the risk of Rosin knowing about them, and the Nameless One wishes to keep it that way. It reads:
"Visitors to Toxicity,
Please note that if you own or are carrying any of the following items into the city, that you must report them to my chosen representative before you do so. Failure will result in confiscation of the items, shortly followed by the destruction of the items. You will then be banished from entering the city. Items on the list will remain in the custody of my chosen representative until your departure.
Any item with a religious significance, books of war, books of violence, books of unsocial behavior, books of magic, phones, pagers, electronic organizers, data pads, tablets, computers, laptops, game consoles, hand held games, ipods, MP3 players, music with lyrics, televisions, DVD and video equipment, video cameras, photography equipment, newspapers and other forms of media similar, brand name clothes, brand name food and products, drugs, medication, currency, identification, motorized vehicles, hi-tech toys, and/or more than seven pieces of jewelry worn at any given time as well as any form of weapon.
Do not try to hide any of the above, as I will know."Congratulations! you found a candy!
