Krait walked towards the building. This place... Krait thought to himself, gazing upward, feeling small. But he didn't finish the thought. It somehow seemed irrelevant, and yet he didn't want to face the twisting feeling inside him, some memory of something that seemed out of place in such an otherwise peaceful place...Fear perhaps...
He meandered over the grass, his soft boots folding the blades of grass underfoot. As he aproached the door to the Tower, he began to dart his tongue out. The massive arch of the construct's shoulders was motionless. The air here was so still, and laced with something he couldn't quite place. His little tongue darted out again. Something familiar. No matter.
Krait came to a gradual stop, some six feet away from the construct. Krait cleared his thoat. The soft gurgle that it produced startled him a little. He stepped closer.
"Hello?" He asked, peering intently at the Door Construct. It sat and did not move. Krait stepped closer. "Hello?" He called out to it, his timid voice a little clearer, his ears getting used to the sound of his soft voice.
The construct did not move, did not reply. The air remained still, nothing but the grass around Krait's boots seemed to shift a little. A little more sure of himself, Krait closed the remaining distance between his tiny self and the massive construct. He stopped at its foot and looked up into the arched curve that served as the crown of his shoulders. Krait smiled hopefully at it, and reached out a tiny hand to stroke the metallic-stone substance the massive Door seemed made of. Krait darted his tongue out and wiggled it, tasting the scent.
"My name isth Krait..." Krait told the door, and smiled when it did not reply. He walked before it, only a few small steps. "I'm sthill learning my way around. Thisth was the only place I could really remember." Krait's soft voice lisped softly on the harder 's' sounds he tried to produce. He didn't seem to notice. "I'm not sure what to do now." He told it, smiling up at it, and taking a few steps back the way he'd come. "I don't know anyone...but really, I haven't stheen anyone yet." Krait turned slowly, and looked around at the grass, the tower, and the buildings of the city off down the road. He took his time, tasting the air, looking at each thing his eyes rested on. He tried to remember each, just in case it was important later.
At length Krait came forward to the Construct again and sat with a flop at its base. He drew his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around his pale skin, his tail curled around and wound about his leg without his noticing it. He leaned back against the cool, foreign material of the Door, and looked up at it. "It'sth awfully quiet today. Even the birds don't stheem to be sthinging." He rested his chin on his arms and smiled at the softness of the velvet brushing his cheek. "Kind of peaceful." Krait closed his black and blue eyes and sat listening. Occassionally he darted his tongue out, keeping an ear attentive to something different or exciting...
But as the minutes rolled past lazily, and nothing disturbed him at this secluded venue, Krait's head grew heavier and he began to doze.

Krait slid further and further to his left, and finally with a thump fell over into the grass. He sat up with a start and looked around. He was alone, the sun considerably lower in the sky above, and his muscles were stiff. He'd fallen asleep, and he didn't know for how long he'd sat there at the foot of the Door Construct.
He pulled himself to his feet a little unsteadily, and stretched out his limbs. His tail swirled out behind him, stretching and then it stroked the texture of the construct unconsciously as he brushed the blades of grass from his velvet and cotten clothes. He took a few steps forward on the grass. His tail, feeling nothing to brush, curled back towards his body instictively, as a child to its mother, looking for comfort and warmth. Krait rubbed his bleary eyes with child's fists and sighed. His stomach rumbled.
Which way was it? he intoned to himself. He was hungry, and remembered he'd seen a mall with restaurants on his walk earlier.
Hrm...
He pondered for a long and silent time, and then, not quite certain, but growing more and more hungry, Krait set out looking for food.

Krait wandered back to the Tower. He had focused very hard last time he had walked here, and it enabled him to make his way much faster than before. He took a good look around the green grass before the tower, and as usual, there was no one there. Krait walked up to the Door Construct.
"Hello," Krait said to it and smiled when it ignored him entirely. "How are you today?" Krait nodded to himself as if he were hearing some sort of reply. "I'm having a very good day. I got a present." The Door stood still. Krait tilted his head at it. "Oh, I didn't bring it. No...I want to get better with the binoculars - yesth, my gift was binoculars! I want to get better with the binoculars before i bring them outsthide. I don't want to break them by accthident."
The Door loomed. Krait stepped closer and drew the folded paper from his pocket. "Can you please do me a favour? Can you give thisth to the Man in that Tower?" Krait proffered the paper and sheepishly scuffed his boot toe into the grass.
The paper looked like this:
User Image
Krait tucked it into the crook that might have been a knee joint and backed up. "Please, make sure he getsth it." And then Krait nodded and after an awkward moment of stillness the little Rosin turned and scampered out of the clearing, his little tail writhing behind him.

On this day a loud crash is heard, almost like a building itself collapsed. Dust forms around the tower, the home of The Nameless One. After it settles, it appears that The largest of all constructs, The Door, has fallen on it's face and leaving the tower open. Inside its as all Rosin remember, the winding staircase up to the wooden door. Swinging open, the door reveals a different room to the one Rosin recall as their first memory. The First, the black onyx construct lays in pieces on the floor, along with rubble under a hole. The pitch-black room is now more illuminated by sunlight coming from the hole in the ceiling, and again from the room above. The holes look big enough for a large human could fit through. Looking through the room of The Nameless One, the place is in a shambles. Papers and files are tossed everywhere, one book in particular has a page ripped out, the book with the title “ Rosin Living Allocations”

Dylan heard the noise, but didn't think anything of it. He figured it was one of Sparks's experiments gone bad... nothing new there. Sure, it was a little dramatic, even for the little guy, but that's the risk you sometimes took.

When the power went out, the slug boy figured that was a byproduct of the experiment. He took it in stride... meaning, he grabbed a self-contained light that would affect the current project he was working on, something involving a lot of gears, wires, and a circuit board.

The transistor was not connecting right, and for the life of him Dylan couldn't figure it out. He'd have to go ask Sparks. It had been awhile since the big bang, so the guy was probably settled down by now... The boy left his room, his little trouble-causing invention in his hands.

It was then that he saw the damage. That must have been one very big explosion Sparks caused... geesh!

Dylan arrived at the workshop, and noticed that Sparks was nowhere to be found. That did not bode well, especially with the condition the Tower also seemed to be in. Now.... he realized something wasn't right, and Sparks! Where was Sparks?

The boy dropped his invention, now forgotten, and ran off. He had to find Sparks!

.... Dylan came upon the towering robot. He would have admired the creation if his eyes weren't on the limp form hanging from the cockpit... for there was Sparks... and he wasn't moving!

Frantic, the boy scurrified up the mecca, his sandaled feet slipping every now and then. He made it to Sparks, voice raw from yelling for the man during his climb. Still, no response. Now that he was near, Dylan shook the man gently. All he got for his effort was a groan. There was no way he could get Sparks out and down safely... he'd need supplies...

Dylan left and returned, with lots of fabric and some normal metal poles. Sometimes the best 'inventions' were the simplest. With them, he made a slide to bring Sparks down safely... Once there, he made a stretcher and ran off with the unconscious man strapped to the stretcher.

Exploring the top room of the tower, there lies the quarters of The Nameless One. Many do not get the opportunity to get here. The room itself is well decorated, but only has small furnishings. A desk, a throne chair, a fireplace and a shimmering pool, carved into the floor. There is rubble on the floor where something big smashed through the ceiling and through the floor. On the desk appears an empty vial, it's contents spilled over the desk and onto 3 folders. Inside the first, details and pictures of a man in a business suit, details about a person and blueprints to a building. All the other information about him is covered in the contents of the vial. The second folder suffered the most damage, leaving hardly anything inside untouched by the black liquid. All that can be seen is the top half of a picture of a silver haired, dark grey skinned female with a crown on her head and fangs, The only words readable in the file are " Sanctuary of Arachne". The third folder contains a map much of which is blotted out in the black liquid, but there is a cave with a cross next to it. There is also half a crude drawing of what looks like a hideous beast.
