I watched the Two Best Friends Let's Play of Silent Hill Downpour. It was just bad. Other than that, I've never played a Silent Hill game. Apparently I should, like a lot of PS2 games.

I played Shattered memories. It wasnt too scary, but I cant wait to get the HD collection in a few weeks. It has 2 + 3 and is a decent price. :3
Also looking forward to the new movie, I liked the first one, even if everyone else seemed to hate it. I didnt expect it to be a carbon copy of the first so I went in open minded and came out pretty happy.

Inyl Chilar I watched the Two Best Friends Let's Play of Silent Hill Downpour. It was just bad. Other than that, I've never played a Silent Hill game. Apparently I should, like a lot of PS2 games. Downpour is a disappointment. For people who have played the 1st and second games it looks like a joke.

Catalina_Laraway I played Shattered memories. It wasnt too scary, but I cant wait to get the HD collection in a few weeks. It has 2 + 3 and is a decent price. :3 Also looking forward to the new movie, I liked the first one, even if everyone else seemed to hate it. I didnt expect it to be a carbon copy of the first so I went in open minded and came out pretty happy. Again not your classic SH Gameplay but it featured Harry Mason SH's 1 protagonist. The SH Movie was epicly awesome for a movie based on a game. Can't wait for the 2nd aswell. xD

Mary's letter with the original voice brings tears to my eyes till today.

You know, I might look up the originals, but the comparisons Ive seen it seems like people think the original is better because of nostalgia. Which is fine..but from what Ive seen the newer voices have more emotion in them in my opinion. Also, have you seen the clip from revelation? It looks amazing~

On the contrary i believe the original voices are much more emotional.But that might be just me since i grew up playing the original SH2. At least Mary's voice is. On the other hand the new James voice is kickass. xD Basically nothing's changed except the improved sound and the HD stuff. The games are still awesome. SH3 is one great game. Thing is Team Silent made 4 games in the series. The 4th one got almost bad critics. Looking back now we wish every game after Team silent quited was that good as the 4th. Pretty ironic yes? Downpour is such a failure imo cause the last member of Team Silent the music mastermind Akira Yamaoka quited aswell. So the music in the game was not his.Also Akira always threw a few ideas on the table. And OMG doesn't look great? the only thing that bumped me was how commercialized was towards the end. But that's marketing. And i couldn't care less cause the trailer does indeed look awesome.

Silent Hill is a love or hate relationship. You're gonna love it's twists or insta hate it. xD You ought to check the Fatal Frame series too once you settle in the horror genre. <3 The movie seems it has adapted the 1st and 3rd games and Pyramid Head's in there for the eyecandy we fangirls and fanboys alike seek. 8D He is a symbol that's true. Tho who he is is not yet cleared. Some say it's James personal judge for the things he's done *you'll see by yourself* others say is an Old God and appears as Valtiel in the 3rd game.

I've also played a little bit of Shattered Memories. My friend and I are planning on making a Let's Play of this one we just have to find the time xD
My friends and I played The Room but that was so long ago I don't even remember much about it. I've only dabbled in a few of the others (Origins and Homecoming) but haven't really been motivated to finish them.
My bestie and I play SH for the lulz.
And for the record the new Silent Hill movie looks a million times better than the first one (obviously with technology these days xD)

The original SH Creators. Many said it was mediocre.Looking back now after all that crap of games carrying the SH Title i wish every game after the room was as GOOD as the room. le sigh.
