If you could...please keep my family and I in prayer.
This time of year is really hard right now. My uncle, who was the closest I've had to an earthly father, passed away last year on September 7. I miss him very dearly, as I'm sure the rest of my family does.
We also had to put down our dog on Friday... Our dog, who we'd had for over eight years, was given to us by my uncle. It seems really silly, but...it's just especially hard to have lost her at this time of the year, so close to the first anniversary of my uncle's passing away. : /

September 7th, is my nephew's birthday, so for me, it's a good day. Even the day before is a good day since that is my BFF Ruth's birthday and tomorrow is my BFF' Cameron's birthday. September is a MEGA birthday month for my family and friends, and I am really sorry that the beginning of September is full of sad memories. I will be praying for you and your family. One year death anniversaries are exceptionally hard--I know. And no, it is not silly to mourn for your dog as well. I am always sad when my pet passes away; their passing can be just as hard as losing a person. I pray that you feel the healing hand of God this week as you and your family are in mourning.

Once again, I am in need of a prayer request. It is for me. I have been in the hospital all week with a severe infection from an abscess. Back on Friday, I had surgery on it and am in recovery right now. I was released from the hospital earlier today to continue my healing at home. Each day, nurses are coming to change my bandaging until I am better.
Please pray that I will feel better soon. I have already missed a week of work and I have to miss another week yet, and, school starts tomorrow, but I have to miss that this week as well. :C
I am anxious to get back to my daily grind, but in the meantime, I am pretty much bed ridden. Now that I am out of the hospital, I have access to my computer and can be online bumming around.
