And there is a limit of only one Clan Announcement per day (for everybody in the clan), so if someone had already sent out a Clan Announcement that day, you won't be able to send one until the day after that.
Even though the Clan Announcements warn that sending announcements will cost gold, they don't actually use the gold from your account, and instead use the money donated to the clan's account, so you won't actually lose any of your gold. Note that even though it's taking money from the Clan's account, the amount of gold they use for Clan Announcements is also incredibly small (at least, according to me), and is put there specifically for sending Clan Announcements.
Below is a code that you can include in your Clan Announcements when you're trying to form a crew. If you use the code instead of writing from scratch, you're less likely to leave out a crucial detail when forming crews. The Requirements and Other Notes sections are technically optional, but you may need/want them depending on what you hope to accomplish with your crew.
The title can be a brief description of what you hope to be doing while in zOMG! with your crew. A few examples include: "Battling End Boss", "Ring farming in Shallow Sea", or "Grunny Invasion in Barton Town".

When: Option 1: Event will start in # minutes/hours.
Option 2: If you want to set a date farther in the future than Option 1, you'll have to specify the exact date, time of day, and time zone you're in. Also, because the names for the zOMG! servers tend to change, choose a method for people to determine the name, like whichever one comes first in the alphabet. If the Clan Chat works in-game (haven't confirmed whether it works), then choosing the wrong server wouldn't be as severe a problem (but it would still be time-consuming). I recommend Option 1 over this option, but if you want/need to set the date farther in the future, you may need to use this option.
Where: This will show what location you want to meet up in (Barton Town, Gold Beach, etc). If you'll be meeting up in a large area, you might also want to narrow down the location even further. Examples: Gold Beach, near the whirlpool; Village Greens, near the Null Chamber.
Server Name: zOMG! makes you choose a server when you enter the game, often named after one of the Animated monsters (Bootsnake, Brain Clam, etc.). If you want other people to join you, you have to be in the same server.
Requirements: Here, you can specify requirements you want other people to fulfill before they join you. Examples include: Bringing along certain rings or ring sets; making sure the people who come along are high enough in CL; or even wearing certain items, such as a Were-Item like a Grunny (this is a clan based on the guild, Were-Animals, after all).
Other Notes: Here, you can write a few notes for whoever will be joining. As opposed to the Requirements section, this will probably be used more for informative purposes, instead of instructions.
