An RP between Akuba and Clef.

Tiny hoofed feet stepping into the dents left by much bigger hoof-prints brought a smile to the young males face. Eyes lighting up he moved deeper into the trees, ignoring his fathers concerned gaze. Clef knew his fathers would come if he cried out, so he only travelled to a small grove of trees. There birds and small fluffy creatures bounded about, making it a lovely place..one where Clef came to rest. His young mind could not quite understand the illness that made his body so very tired. Feeling the beginning 'symptoms' of his illness the little male plopped down among the warm grass. Among the tall bits of grass he poked his little nose, squealing aloud when a bug climbed onto it. "Eeeeee!! No bug that tickles!" Bursting into a fit of giggles the little male flopped over, flailing his legs about in the sunny afternoon air.
Akuba had decided to make himself useful for the day and let his little family take a break, he ambled across the long grass to the tall trees which now bore apples on almost each branch. It wasn't like him to look down as he walked unless it was closer to the villages of the humans.
All he needed was just one bushel for everyone in his little family. The stallion ambled and and jumped when he heard a small cry and giggles from a little a way.
His ears perked a little towards the giggling noises and he soon followed it out of curiosity.
Soon a small striped white, black and blue foal appeared in his sights, rolling in the grass in fits of laughter. He wondered what was so funny and where his parents were, but decided not to ask yet.
Giggles dying down Clef gently shook the bug from his nose. Too tired to do much more the male settled back down, legs tucked beneath him as he watched the world around him. When the sound of leaves rustling and hoofed feet met his ears he let out a faint whine. It had to be his father..he always worried and came to find him. "Daddy 'm fine..please can't I stay here just a little longer?" sulky look in place he turned expecting to see his father. Instead of his father it was a large stallion with many pretty stripes. "You aren't my daddy..what ya doin mister?"
Akuba froze,"I…think you may be mistaken." If it was possible for him to go red out of awkwardness he really would have but he had always tried to skip over feelings like this. "Uh…I was just taking a stroll for a bushel of apples. I'm sorry if I disturbed you, I didn't mean to."
Akuba knew that all foals were very different, some cried when they didn't like what they saw and others were fearless, he wondered what kind this foal was. "My name's Akuba, what's your name?"
He would frequently exchange names with a stranger but only foals talked in a certain way, he preferred to learn names from listening rather than asking straight up like foals always did, still, it was a start.

Smiling up at the big male Clef gave a little shake of his mane. "No it's okay sir! I'm Clef..nice to meet you Akuba! Ooo apples.. They are tasty, can I help?" Even though he felt tired and a bit wobbly Clef pushed himself upright to curiously nose against the stallions legs. "You has stripes just like me an momma..but daddy Tsu doesn't have any and neither does my other daddy." Wobbling just a bit he easily leaned up against Akuba, he'd always been trustworthy of strangers because his parents had sheltered him from meeting any 'bad' stallions or mares. "So can I come? Pleaseeee?"
"Oh okay well it's nice to meet you Clef.", he smiled and moved a little closer,"of course you can! Just so long as your father is okay with it. I don't want to get you into any trouble."
Akuba bent his neck a little to see what the foal was looked at and then beamed," I come from a family full of stripes!"
He did n't know quite how Clef's family arrangement worked but he seemed happy to feel extra loved by all of his parents. Akuba's skin tingled when the foal rested up against him, he was lighter than Akuba expected him to be.
"Of course you can but it has to be okay with your parents."
He still hadn't seen any around yet but knew they'd be around somewhere.
Pouting delicately Clef nosed at the striped males leg, curiously snuffling at Akuba's long mane. "Noo daddy will make me rest and I'm not tired!" Truthfully he felt really really tired..and wanted to lean against Akuba's warm legs till someone came to find him. Just as he felt like complaining again his ears caught the sound of heavy hoofs meeting the earth.
Soon his large daddy appeared between the trees, frowning just a bit. "Clef..what are you doing son? You should be resting..daddy Tsu and I were worried. " Flicking his dark blue orbs to the male he quietly nodded to striped stallion. "I'm Lijep..nice to meet you. Sorry if my little one bothered you."
Akuba looked down at the light footed foal,"that's what my children said when they were tired." He chuckled a little and this was soon interrupted by a concerned parent, as soon as he noticed he took a small step away and looked at the stallion and spoke with caution," my name's Akuba, it's very nice to meet the father of such a charming little boy. He's no bother at all." He knew if anything, he bothered the foal and not the other way around.

Smiling softly Lijep made his way to Clef, who stubbornly stayed standing despite the tremors in his little legs. "Now son..I can tell your illness is bothering you..why won't you come home and rest? Akuba can do things without a little helper."
Sulky look returning Clef tried to back pedal to where Akuba stood, he just wanted to spend time away from his family..with someone who didn't know about his sickness yet. "Please daddy! I wanna help him just for a little while! Then I will rest..please?"
Sighing heavily Lijep gave in to his little ones big sad eyes. "Fine..for a little bit, as long as Akuba does not mind."
Akuba watched the father and son pair for a little while. He was ill? Akuba could not be liable for this, he worried about what'd happen if the little boy got really ill. "Why don't you come with us", he looked at Lijep,"it'd take the strain off Clef and you won't have to worry as much about him too." He smiled weakly as if he say he knew how it was with kids.
"The trees are very very tall and still hard for you to reach yet, but seeing your daddy I know you'll be as big as him in the future and you'll be able to have all the apples you want." He swished his long tail and looked upon them both more easily now.
