Torque was s anxious, for reasons he couldn't very well describe. Now full-fledged, he'd grown distant from his mothers(though he went back to see Shawnie for the occasional spar, and he swore that he sometimes saw the glint of eyes the same shade as his, the shade of Xiphi's, lurking in the shadows). More importantly, though, he grew distant from his other "guardians," the two hart assigned to keep a close eye on him and his siblings. They frustrated him, the winged Devon and the fool of a hart Peris.
The hart wrinkled his nose in frustration. his tail swishing from side to side. With the movement, the blades that linked his tail sliced through the tall grass. Yes, he was anxious. Life for him had become a day-to-day routine. It was boring. Stagnant. At the thought, Torque's jaw set. Clenched hard as his pale blue eyes narrowed at the horizon as if in waiting.

Tongue lolling a bit to the side, Sergei padded along the tall grass and made little trails as he tramped it down. He had never really been around such places, grasses never reaching this lush feel or height up near the mountains. It was rather fun...despite his heavy coat threatening to overheat him. Ears wiggling a bit, he imitated his friend Kirill like he had seen the fox so many times and got in the canine play stance. His claws testing the soft earth and blades of grass.
Rolling his eyes, Kirill licked at his paws as if they actually needed to be cleaned and ignored the fully grown hart. Playing was for children...though he might play along with him later. Perhaps if he could get Sergei to fetch him food? Looking up, he smirked at the hart's wagging tail and shook his head before his eyes sharpened at the sight of someone new. Luckily, Sergei hadn't noticed him...if he tried to move him now...perhaps Sergei and himself would go unnoticed.
Mentally groaning at the childish act he was about to commit, Kirill got in the play position as well and tried to lead the blundering oaf away from this...potential threat. Sergei beaming as he bounded after him.
