Well this has turned out to be a lovely day. /sarcasm.
My girlfriend and I's cat which we bought two months ago from a breeder potentially has FIP. They have to run tests to be sure; if she has it she is going to have to be put down. It started out with sneezing , and she got cold medicine for it, sneezing went away but we noticed she was breathing heavily took her back to the vet, and found she has fluid in her lungs. I'm hoping that the cold developed into pneumonia.
And my manager called, said I might have to look for a new job because if business doesn't pick up she is going to have to let me go since they aren't making enough money.
I could really use some cheering up.

That is probably why. You cannot "just apply at a few places" and expect to get something. You have to treat job hunting like a full time job as well. It is a s**t economy right now.

I tend to be not well at times
but I try to be active when I can.
I hope that things get better for you. heart
I'm sorry that you need a new job
and the poor cat was ill and passed away.
I took care of around 40 cats and 15+ dogs in my life.. sweatdrop
It hurt to have puppies that died of parvo
and other pets get in bad health in general.
I did my best for them it just is sad for me to watch anything die. sweatdrop
