For those of you who are involved in (or would like to become involved in) the RP thread we've got going, BB and I thought it would be a good idea to have a place to throw some ideas around. Storylines, plot twists, extra character information, whatever - it belongs in here. wink This way the RP thread won't get bogged down with OOC (out of character) chatter.

Character Name: Captain Faerie .. real name unknown.
Physical description: Tall, lanky, swaggers a lot (could be her sealegs or it could be the rum). Red hair, pointed ears, pale blue eye. Always wears an eyepatch. Black batwings protruding from her head. Usually wears black, red, and white.
Race: PIRATE, you idjit! (just kidding) .. succubus. Really. sweatdrop
Additional information:
Stuff you might know: The Cap'n usually has a black cat with glowing orange eyes following her around. The cat's name is Fin, and there's something... unnatural about it. You might stumble upon her carrying on a conversation with the cat.
As strange as pirates are, especially Captains, Captain Faerie is something of an odd duck. She's been known to ride the prow of the boat during battle, waving her sword in the air. Her sayings don't always make sense (but don't make a point of questioning her about what she means - your best bet is to pretend you didn't hear.)
Stuff you don't know yet but may be revealed during play: The Captain wears an eyepatch for a reason. Being a succubus (or at least part - her origins are vague), she has a demonic eye which lacks pigmentation. It remains covered at all times for two reasons: one, demonic eyes look a little creepy. Two, that eye is extra sensitive and can pick up on the unseen... an irritating thing to be going on all the time. What a distraction!

Character's Pirate Nickname: "Buxom Billy"
Race: Human
Physical Traits:
Hair: Midnight Blue (shade of black) Waves
Eyes: Aquamarine (and various shades of blue)
Height: 5'9
Build: Medium boned with tone
Skintone: Indian-tanned
Personality: She's sensitive yet cynical. She can be loose in ways but has faith in morals (dynamic for a pirate). Though she's not much for love, she's a hopeless (closet) romantic. As a little girl, she was a tomboy and though she has "grown" into her own she still holds some of her habits and characteristics from childhood. Her offsetting, dark innocence fools many of her foes who take her hidden skills for granted. She has a fierce loyalty to her comrades and even more so to her dreams and goals. (hopefully this won't conflict with her work upon the Pink Pearl) She prefers to keep much of herself a mystery but doesn't mind opening up to those of whom she's known for some time.
Other traits: Prefers those not of her own race.
Enjoys music and mindless, fun-filled booty-shaking! rofl
A compulsive collector/buyer of rare and, most of the time, deadly weapons.
Fears: Things she cannot see (ambiance)

Character's Name: Ghostly Jack
Race: Undead (unknown)
Physical traits: Of average height (around 5'5"), Jack usually goes unnoticed unless you pick up on her.. rather strange attributes. Much too pale to be a pirate, and rather too waifish for things such as sword-fighting and rigging the sails and hoisting anchor, she is surprisingly swift and impossibly strong. Her amber gaze carries flecks of red, and her hidden eye is totally vermillion.
Personality: Jack is intensely quiet, and rarely speaks to anyone but her Captain. Fiercly loyal, she thinks nothing of stepping in front of a blade to protect a member of the crew - especially Captain Faerie. Being undead, she has mostly cut herself off from the world of the living, and prefers to spend time in her quarters unless she is needed.
Other traits: Jack can die, but the specifics are rather vague... even she's unaware of how exactly it could happen. She is capable of becoming ethereal, as opposed to corporeal, which is a handy trick for a pirate - great for sneaking into places and out of them regardless of locks or booby traps. She has a great store of otherworldly knowledge, but is not likely to share unless a situation calls for it.

I used tektek.org and created some enemies for the Pink Pearl manga. Tell me what you think? Pink Pearl Villians: The Prince of the Navy:  Info: This guy is a bit of a thicky and can be a thorn in your backside!!! His main goal in life is to gain power among the royals. He'll buttkiss and brownose any way in order to rise in the ranks. At the moment, he's the Prince of the Navy and his main target is the Pink Pearl and her crew. Silvertongue the Viper Pirate: Captain of the SidewinderInfo: Here's the cutter of all throats, whether it be child, mother, brother, or even his own crewman! Later in the manga this venomous villian will begin stalking the Pink Pearl and lays claim to some sort of hidden relation to the Captain!!....

Physical Description: 6'5", skin tone is almost stark white (alabaster?), deep blue eyes which sometimes change colors with his mood, shaggy blonde hair, long pointy ears, cupids bow mouth with naturally dark red lips, well muscled but thin (lithe?)
Race: High Elf
Additional Information: Aleister is the epitome of a "lover not a fighter". That's not to say that he can't fight, he'd just rather not. A lifelong practitioner of a unique weapon he calls his "chain sword"; Aleister is deathly proficient with it when there is absolutely no other choice. In menial combat, however, he uses two adamantine and silver whips.
Barring combat (at nearly any cost), Aleister is quite the hedonist, flirting with anything that walks, partying away his formative years, and making extra cash on the side of pirating as a Domineus for hire.

Race: humanish
Physical Traits:
Hair: jet black with a few streaks of red. medium, longish down to his shoulders but always pulled back in a ponytail or held back by a bandana
Eyes: Shift between grey and brown
Height: 5'8"
Build: lean but all muscle
Skintone: lightly tanned
Personality: He's quiet and keeps to hisself most the time. has a horrible habit of always lurking around quietly. from growing up on his own with no family, he's self-taught with all his fighting skills and always has a slight distrust for all those around him. he knows very little about his past or anything about hisself for that matter so he has reasons to not share anything about hisself. he never can be found without 4 or more razor sharp blades, hidden or visable. Unlike most pirates, he has learned much on the ways of stealth and tactics for battles. his favorite way to defeat his enemys is to use their own skills and weapons against them. he normally is very blunt and to the point with all that he does, even cruel at times, though his loyalty to the few he trusts is unmatched. even though he usually is quiet, after several drinks he can be found to be the loudest in the crew.
Other traits: he has leather bat wings that come from his head. He tends to wear as much black or dark clothing as he can and he always travels light. he values the ability to be as agile as possible and quickness to defeat an enemy.. he has an ability to see quite well in the dark.
weapon of choice: his black steel staff with dual blades on one end. it resembles a pitchfork but is far from a garden tool.
