This forum will be talking about the usual meta for LoL and strategies. I think knowing this will help players improve on things.

The Meta:
Bruiser(Not tank)/Counter- Top
Strategy: Send a bruiser top they're tanky and can farm for long periods of time. At top you shouldn't focus on killing the person in lane unless your champion is super OP and you can pick up a kill with out being forced out of lane. Also as top you should never require a gank top lane. The only exception is if you are versing Rumble, Kennen, Riven(If they are building correctly) or Tryndamere(If they are CSing well). As for a counter pick, this is usually Teemo or Vlad.

Jungler- Jungle
Strategy: The jungler jungles, a champion that starts red is usually the best with a few exceptions. As a jungler you must know when to gank. Never gank when the lane is winning(Not pushing but winning) and always be patient. If you don't gank early on you failed as a jungler. A successful gank is if you get a kill or burn your opponents summoner spells.

AP or Talon/Galio- Mid
Strategy: Ap is the lane that should try to win early game playing aggressive while still getting the CS. Note mid is the most vulnerable lane so if you find yourself being ganked regularly because of overextending buy a ward or 2. Once you hit level 6 you should start roaming on occasion to other lanes.
The reason why you send Galio/Talon mid is because they counter high tier mages and eliminate the chances of a mage snowballing.

ADC and Support- Bot
Strategy: You are the most important lane!!! Do not fail!! Last hit! Last hit! Last hit! Kill when the opportunity rises. Support ward! ward! ward! Do not force to make the ADC ward because you are wasting their income. Every time you leave base have a ward. Counter ward frequently.
