So I know this is weird but I have always wondered if some type of "invisibility" can be obtained. The reason why I bring this up is at work today I felt crummy and kept finding places to sit and hoped no one would see me. Well I was sweeping in a tiny office the size of a bathroom and there were two desks in it I was sweeping under one and the guy who works at the other desk came in looked at me sat down at his desk. Then as I started to sweep my pile toward him he turns around with this terrified look and said I scared the crap out of him and he wondered how long I had been there and didn't know how he missed seeing me. I have had this happen other times too so I was wondering if its possible to in essence mask oneself from others vision. Have you ever had this happen to you (either being the person not seen or being scared by someone who was right there in front of you.) I found it very interesting today so I thought I would ask. I posted this on FB a few days ago and found a neat webcite that discussed such a thing as meditative "invisibility" I discussed it with my husband as well and he agrees that I must have this kind of ability because I am very slinky and sneaky for my height. So have you guys ever experienced anything like this or heard of it before now??? http://www.allthingspsychic.com/psychicinvisibility.html

Like I'd look back on one side, he'd always be on the other. It kind of freaked me out, really.

Like it just happened automatically or something.

This has happened to me before. However, I spent a good deal of my teen years training to be stealthy and that's a habit that's hard to break. You'd be surprised how unperceptive people are when you don't make as much noise when you walk as they're used to.
