Here's the story idea so far
• Setting: post-apocalyptic world with a new blood disease, causing war between the infected and the “hunters,” people who hunt down and kill the infected
• Symptoms of first getting the disease is bleeding similar to hemophilia, along with bleeding into the lungs; weakness, disorientation, and intense pain, usually causing blackouts; fever; skin ulcers and sores that look like burns(it increases the radiation that the body naturally produces) and strange “patches”
• Leaves behind a person with opalescent skin, glowing eyes, and claws with enhanced senses, enhanced strength and agility, and unique “gifts”
• Story starts with the beginning of the spread; in a hospital rushing a patient in with symptoms similar to radiation sickness
• Suddenly another patient came in, then another and another
• Doctor notices the sudden surge and calls in CDC
• The town is put under quarantine, yet the view shows one of the sick getting out of town before all the barriers are put in place
• Goes to current time (march 17, 2015)
• A half destroyed town, people walking by warily, fearfully; wearing surgical masks, thinking it will prevent the infection getting to them
• Shows a man with a hat low over his eyes, wearing a scarf instead of a mask
• two people, a man and a woman, run by wearing hunter attire
• The woman pauses by the man and warns him a pack of infected have gotten into the town
• Assures her he’ll be careful; as she runs off he looks up after her revealing glowing eyes
• Looks forward again and pulls the hat down over his eyes and continues walking
Now I have Five characters so far:
• The man(Kurisu) with glowing eyes, the mysterious person who appears in certain situations and moments; the woman's lost love
• the woman(Rose), a hunter who is turned into a a specialized infected by the man(Kurisu)
• Tama, one of the hunters with Rose; best friend
• Ryu, brother of Rose and also hunter
• Talon, infected who Rose finds and lets escape (while a hunter) also Rose's brother
I also have a few scenes i want to put in, but I'm not sure what to put in between

Wow, how did I miss this thread? D:
That's sounds like a great start to a story! I think the hard part is coming up with a plot, but in yours it shouldn't be too hard. Know what you have down so far since then? (:
Are there people who want to help the hunters, or is this the foolish thing to do? Maybe there are groups who want to help and others who want to kill off the infectious people? That might be cool.
