Chris Angel vs Riona Langly
Roselyn Peters: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a 20 minute time limit!"
The crowd in the arena looks around as a soft pinging noise fills the speakers, the lights flickering along with it. A tension seems to flow throughout the fans, all of them knowing who is about to come out next. As the pinging comes to a stop, a women's voice starts to chant "Spirits Spirits, Come Come" as the lights in the arena shut off completely, a single guitar riff coming through the speakers, punctuated by a bass drum beat behind it.
A woman's voice begins to sing in a low, melancholy tone.
Sing to me, my muses... Lost in the hot cyclops anarchy... Possession, invention, Blood, blood...
Spirits, spirits...
The beat starts to pick up as the woman's voice gets faster, the pinging coming back again in the backround. Strobe lights flash to the quickened drum beat as the woman's voice bedcomes more frantic.
Where will these visions lead? How far dare I go? Where will this song take me? INTO THE DEEP UNKNOWN!!!
The woman's voice screams out the last line as a spotlight bursts out from the front of the entrance ramp as a figure slowly makes its way out in front of it, head tilted down. The figure stops just in front of the light, head tilted down. Her long, black hair flows over her shoulders, the red bangs at the front hiding her face as she silhouettes herself on the light.
Spirits, spirits, come, COME
The woman slowly lifts her head up, hair hanging down over her face and obscuring most of it. Finally, as the first verse of the song begins, she throws her arms out to the side in a crucifix pose and flicks her head back, her hair flying back over her shoulders and revealing her face. As she does this, a pair of spotlights shine on her from each side, showing her identity.
All the prophets and the gods came prepared for theirs So we dined on the vine of the mind impaired Preaching werewolf prayers on a nightly flight Gestating all we ate in the pale moonlight
"Introducing first, from Buffalo, New York, she is The Prodigy...RIIIONAAAA LAAAANGLYYYYYY!!!"
Riona lowers her arms and begins to make her way down the ramp as the spotlights turn to follow her. She slaps a few outstretched hands, but is more intent on focusing the match ahead of her than other people.
Feel the urge of the power surge connect the soul Bringing kingdoms under siege with the words that I control Got an arsenal, ganja blunts and such Only love can set me free from this patriarchal clutch
Riona stops at the bottom of the entranceway, looking up into the ring for a few moments before taking a quick step forward and sliding in. Getting up to her feet quickly, throwing her arms out to her sides once again as an explosion of silver sparks fly up from all four of the turnbuckles with another loud pop. Riona grins and hops onto one of the corners, doing another crucifix pose timed exactly with the beginning of the chorus.
Speaking testaments in our secret dialogue While the drones begin to feed on the feces of the hog Take a walk in the wilderness - of your mind Before your soul decides to die and leave infinity behind
POSSESSION, INVENTION, INVITE DISCOVERY Surrender to pleasure, LOST IN ECSTACY Survive - alive, YOU ARE MY ENEMY You DIED, for LIES - SLAVE TO MISERY
Finally, Riona lowers her arms and heads over to her corner, doing some last minute stretches and getting ready for the match as the lights come back to normal.
"And her opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds and standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, he is Chris Angel!"
Theme of music plays as the Titantron shows Chris Angel video during the time the music is being played.
I'm in conniptions for the final act you came here for The one derivative you manage is the one I abhor I need a minute to elaborate for everyone the Everyday bullshit things that you have done
Christian enters the ring wearing his ring attire, then slowly waks up the stairs on the side of the ring and walks along the side of the ring as he enters it.
Your impossible ego ******** is like a Megalomaniacal tab on my tongue You ********' touch me I will rip you apart I'll reach in and take a bite out of that s**t you call a heart...
Chris Angel holds his hand in the air then stops as the lights cut off. Exactly the time the chorus starts he throws his hands down and sparks fly from the turnbuckles.
Chorus: I know why you blame me (yourself) I know why you plague me (yourself) I know why you blame me (yourself) I know why you plague me (yourself) !!!!
The lights then cut back on as the sparks die out and Angel waits for his match to begin.
*DING DING DING*
Chants of "let's go Langly" fill the Barton Town Youth Center immediately as referee Dave Nichols stands back out of the way and watches on with the audience as Riona and Chris lock-up in the center of the ring. Knowing slightly of her history and her build that strength isn't Riona's forte Chris tries to take advantage of this by shoving forward with the collar and elbow tie-up, but Riona has this type of plan scouted as she merely breaks free and steps to the side. Chris stumbles forward to catch himself on the ropes, but gets balanced again quickly and tries to replace the embarrassment shown by his ever reddening face with a smug look that says "I knew that was going to happen." Riona just shoots a look of "Yeah, whatever" back at him before they go into another lock-up. Trying to one up Riona for earlier Chris tries the exact same strategy as last time, but Riona has had enough of this as she sidesteps him once more prior to hitting him with a Drop Toe Hold to take him down to the mat. Knowing what it already may be time for the GWA fans begin cheering greatly as Riona releases the hold she has on Angel's legs before rolling up next to him and grabbing his arm. "PAINKILLER!" some fans in the crowd shout out randomly, but Riona just shakes her head and places Chris into a simple Side Headlock instead, toying with the fans who feel a mixture of being cheated and yet relieved that the match will go on longer. Despite having the headlock in as perfectly as possible Chris is still fresh in this match and lets Riona know it by pushing himself up to his feet where he goes to shove Riona off of him and into the ropes. Rather than relinquish the advantage she has Riona grabs on to a handful of Chris' hair when he pushes her away from him. This allows Riona to stop herself quite easily and re-apply the headlock as Dave Nichols tells Riona not to try that again. Riona just nods her head that she won't as many in the crowd find themselves laughing at the none-too-serious demeanor Riona sports tonight.
Being thoroughly frustrated by this lack of respect, from a woman even, Chris hits Riona in the back several times to get her to release the Side Headlock. Turning around after this Riona finds herself on the end of a quick kick to the gut followed by a DDT that drives her head into the ground. Being proud of himself for catching a veteran wrestler off guard with such a simple move Chris gloats slightly as he gets back up onto his knees as the crowd jeers him and he goes for a cover, 1...Riona kicks out. Now the frustration sets back in, not because he didn't get the three, but because Riona kicked out before two even. Grabbing Riona by the hair Chris gets back to his feet and drags "The Prodigy" to the near corner where he places her. With Riona not showing any signs of fighting back Chris jumps up onto the second rope as he tries to get the crowd to count along when he takes a swing at Riona. Unfortunately for Chris, Riona ducks down and crawls out from under him before standing back up and yawning to play to the crowd even more. Already upset Chris finds himself going on instinct now as he jumps up onto the top rope and waits for Riona to turn around prior to going for a Flying Crossbody! Nobody is home however as Riona steps out of the way and goes over to the ropes, a sleepy look in her eyes as Chris crashes into the canvas and the crowd cheers. "Pro-di-gy" chants fill the Youth Center now as Riona has the crowd eating from the palm of her hand, as expected from the only wrestler on the GWA roster who currently works a televised fed. As Riona turns around from the ropes the look on her face becomes a bit more serious as she looks to end this match now. Chris on the other hand just wants to destroy Riona and shows that as he gets up to his feet and charges at her. Quick thinking on Riona's part keeps her from getting torn apart however as the Clothesline attempt by Chris is easily thwarted with the 5th Round Sleeper!!
Right into a cover Riona goes after this, 1...2...Chris kicks out. Not too surprised by this outcome Riona gets to her feet and proceeds to get Chris to his as well, only to be hit with an elbow to the face by Angel. This doesn't seem to effect Riona too much, but a hard right hand to the face does and knocks Riona back. Needless to say the crowd jeers Chris loudly for this action although it's pretty obvious he doesn't care at the moment. As Riona holds the side of her face Chris brings his right arm back for another strike, only to get taken off his feet by the Reality Check!! Massive amounts of cheering fill the Youth Center as Riona confidently stands over Chris, not even going for a cover. Instead Riona taunts Chris, telling him to get back up, which he starts to do. What Chris doesn't notice is Riona backing up so at the moment Angel gets to his knees he gets hit with a SHINING WIZARD!! Riona is quick in going for a cover this time, knowing Chris' face has to be hurting after that one two combo, 1...2...2.5...Chris kicks out. Not one to be flustered, especially not with the match under her control, Riona doesn't make a big deal over this, but does see that if she wants to humiliate Chris for his stance on women she may have to go a different route. During the time "The Prodigy" is thinking about her new strategy Chris gets to his feet and rather than going after the quicker wrestler Angel tries to lure Riona in by offering up a knucklelock. Despite it not being in her best interest Riona obliges, due mostly to her current mindset, and finds herself being pushed down to her knees in a hurry. Seeing his chance right before him now Chris swiftly breaks the knucklelock prior to going for a Dropkick to Riona, only for her to get her arms up and block it somewhat. The impact from the kick still hurts Riona, but she is able to stay on her knees and be the first one up. An advantageous position it turns out to be as when Chris gets up to his feet he gets nailed with a HHH Facebuster prior to a Running STO from Riona!! 1...2...2.7...Chris kicks out.
Frustration begins to set in for Riona now of all times, "The Prodigy" seemingly more anxious now than ever to get her first clear win in the GWA to show the "haters" that women can wrestle. Dragging Chris up to his feet by his hair Riona turns him away from her in order to lock on a Full Nelson as the intensity of the cheers from the crowd heighten, most fans knowing what Riona will go for next. This move doesn't occur however as Chris manages to break free from the Full Nelson, only to perform a standing switch to place himself behind Riona. Not wanting to give Riona the time to think Chris suddenly ducks his head down and grabs Riona's arms in order to lift her up for THE ANGEL EFFECT!! NO! Riona frees her arms as Chris lifts her up and flips over him back onto her feet where she places the Full Nelson in again to hit THE DETONATOR!!! When Riona lets go of Chris he quickly falls face down onto the mat with his back held in pain, but Riona isn't done yet. Rather than going for a pin Riona places herself to Chris' side and applies the PAINKILLER!!! With the GWA fans in the Barton Youth Center going absolutely wild now Chris raises his hand in the air, and despite his fighting to get out of the hold, taps out!
*DING DING DING*
Roselyn Peters: "And here is your winner, Riona Langly!"
*Rather than keeping the Painkiller applied to teach Chris even more of a lesson Riona just releases the hold and gets to her feet, celebrating slightly even though the win isn't that important compared to some of the other wins in her career. Fans of the GWA should find it important however as it made quite the statement in terms of where Riona will be finding herself in the GWA in the future. As Riona takes in the last of the cheers she wanders to the back, knowing now that if anyone in the GWA finds themselves in her path that they might at least have enough common sense to...
MOVE!*

BTWF World's Heavyweight Championship: Darson Grays vs Dante Cabrell
The crowd at the Barton Town Youth Center is buzzing with anticipation at the upcoming match, knowing that they're going to see, first-hand, a monumentous event.
Without further ado, as soon as the ring is cleared and ready to go, the opening beat of "Another Body Murdered" kicks in, the crowd immediately standing up and letting out a huge cheer while beginning to pound the steel barriers and clap to the beat of the music.
TURN ME UP!
A garbled scream follows the yell, slowly fading out to silence for a few moments, only to be replaced by the opening beat of "Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine. Red and orange spotlights sweep over the crowd, accompanied by the traditional white strobe lights flashing along at triple the beat the crowd is going at. A few quick drum pounds leads into the main beat of the song, and Dar throws open the curtains, the crowd letting out another giant cheer as he stands at the end of the aisle, looking out over the arena with a stony expression on his face. The crowd immediately begins to chant "DAR! DAR! DAR!" in the Samoan's direction, and the archetype nods, heading down the aisle and slapping hands with a few fans, though not seeming as energetic as he would be normally. Obviously the importance of this match is weighing heavily on his mind.
Transmission, third world war, third round A decade of the weapon of sound above ground No shelter if you're lookin' for shade I lick shots at the brutal charade As the polls close like a casket On truth devoured A silent play in the shadow of power A spectacle monopolized The camera's eyes on choice disguised
Heading around the ring, Dar grabs a chair from a nearby crowd member, setting it up in the corner and climbing up onto it to look out over the crowd, setting one foot on the ring barrier itself. After a few moments of expressionless observation, Dar gives the fans a slight grin before throwing his arms up in an X, a good section of the crowd doing the same.
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil? Or the vultures who thirst for blood and oil? Yes a spectacle monopolized They hold the reins, stole your eyes All the fistagons, the bullets and bombs Who stuff the banks, who staff the party ranks More for Gore or the sun of a drug lord None of the above, ******** it, cut the cord
Dar hops down off the chair as the second verse ends, rolling into the ring as the lights cut out for a moment, only to be replaced by rapidly strobing versions of the orange and red lights, the crowd going back to their pounding and clapping at a new intensity to go along with the chorus.
LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO! Turn that s**t up!
LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO! Turn that s**t up!
LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO! Turn that s**t up!
Walking over to his corner, Dar pulls off his jacket and hands it to an official, leaning back against the turnbuckles and closing his eyes, psyching himself up for the upcoming match.
LIGHTS OUT! GUERILLA RADIO!
The lights fade out once again, then come back on with their normal white glow, the crowd now turning their attention back towards the entrance aisle. Some parts of the crowd are already chanting "DANTE! DANTE! DANTE!", but most just wait in silence, knowing that the Cocky Canadian will keep them in suspense, as usual. Despite the fact that it's almost a minute before the first drum beats of "Away" by Breaking Benjamin begin, Dar never even opens his eyes, not looking towards the aisle. As the guitars kick in, Dante walks through the curtains, mostly met by cheers from the crowd, though a noticeable decrease from those that Dar received, including some scattered boos. As the next riff begins, Dante lifts his arms up, doing it a little slower than usual to make sure the two belts he has draped over his shoulders don't fall off. Finally, he lowers his arms, opening his eyes again with a cocky smirk before walking towards the ring as the lyrics start up.
Cold, am I I'm beside myself Because there's no one left...
Dante seems to be ignoring the crowd, even though a few manage to learn over the barriers and slap him on the shoulders, the Cocky Canadian's attention turned up to the ring and his opponent inside it. Turning to the side at the last minute, he walks up the steel steps, then bends down to slip through the ropes and into the ring.
Have I grown so blind (so blind)? Only God could save you If you knew your way to the light...
Now seeming to be ignoring Dar mostly, Dante heads over to the upper-left corner of the ring and climbs up onto the ropes.
So fly away and leave it behind, Just stay awake, there's nowhere to hide...
As the chorus begins, Dante raises his arms as he had in the entrance aisle, smirking again as he's met with a more intense reaction of the reception he'd received when he'd first gone past the curtains. After a moment, he hops back down and heads to the opposite corner in the bottom-right.
I see you, 'cause you won't get out of my way. I hear you, 'cause you won't quit screaming my name...
Climbing up into this corner, Dante does the same thing again, holding his arms up in the air and tilting his head back a little, closing his eyes.
I feel you, 'cause you won't quit touching my skin. I need you, they're coming to take you away...
Dante steps down from the corner, turning around to face the ring, and Dar, who's finally opened his eyes, and now looks across the ring at Dante with the same set expression. Roselyn enters the ring at this time, holding a rolled up piece of paper in her hand, and unrolling it once she gets into the ring, bringing the microphone up to speak.
Roselyn: "Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time, I will read this Barton Town Wrestling Federation Unified Heavyweight Title Championship match declaration...Earlier tonight, both men signed the original document. As a representative tonight of the BTWF CEO, Brian Blade, I hereby agree that the first defense of the BTWF Unified Heavyweight Champion, Dante Cabrell, against Darson Grays, takes place at the Barton Town Youth Center, on February 27, 2006. It is a Unified Heavyweight Title match, authorized by the BTWF CEO and asset holder, Brian Blade, regulated under Gambino Wrestling Alliance rules, and ratified on February 20, 2006. The match is scheduled for one fall, with a sixty minute time limit. Your referee is Peter London."
Lowering the paper, the crowd gives another cheer, knowing that this special introduction likely has to do with legal proceedings needed after the closure of the BTWF. After another moment, Roselyn begins introductions.
Roselyn: "Introducing first, to my left, the challenger...From American Samoa, weighing in at two hundred seventy-five pounds, he is the Original Archetype of eXcellence...DARSON GRAYS!"
Dar steps forward out of the corner, throwing his arms up in an X as several streamers go flying out of the crowd and into the ring, the Samoan reaching down to make a belt motion at his waist before stepping back.
"And his opponent, to my right...From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at two hundred sixty-five pounds, he is the BTWF Unified Heavyweight Champion...The Cocky Canadian...DANTE CABRELL!"
Dante steps forward, raising both belts up in the air as several more streamers go showering over the ring, just a few less than what Dar received. Several officials quickly begin to pull all the streamers out of the ring, while London comes over to take the belts from Dante, holding them up and facing all four sides of the ring before walking over to show them to Darson, then handing them out through the ropes to an official. Afterwards, London walks over to both men, quickly patting them down for weapons, then walks back to the middle of the ring, asking if both are ready. After receiving an affirmative, he steps back and calls for the bell.
DING DING DING!!!
Duelling chants of "LET'S GO DARSON!" and "LET'S GO DANTE!" have already begun as the two men slowly start to circle around the ring, stopping at about a half circle and just staring each other down from a few feet away. A few seconds later, the two step forward, locking up in a grapple for the first time in a one-on-one match since July of 2004. Both men seem to be pretty evenly matched, just pushing against each other in the middle of the ring, neither one even taking a step back as they fight over the collar-and-elbow tie-up. Finally, Dar starts to get an advantage, pushing Dante slowly back towards the ropes. Once there, London calls for a break, and the two men slowly start to seperate, Dante readily guarding himself against anything Dar might throw at him. Dar gives his old rival a clean break, however, stepping back a few feet and staring him down again. The two begin to circle once more, locking up in another grapple after a few seconds. Once again, Dar gains the advantage, pushing Dante back towards the ropes, but just before they reach them, Dante manages to turn it around and push Dar back against them. London calls for the break once more, and the two slowly start to seperate again, but before it can finish, Dar shoves Dante away, walking forward, only to get shoved back by the Cocky Canadian, the two get nose-to-nose, staring each other down and mumbling to each other in low, incomprehensible tones, though it's obviously not anything civil. The two seperate after several moments, circling again before locking up once more. This time, Dar pulls Dante into a Side Headlock, working the move. Dante pushes Dar back towards the ropes, hitting a few forearms to the ribs to loosen the hold, then pushes him up against the ropes and sends him across the ring. On the way back, though, he gets taken down from a sudden Shoulderblock by Dar, who looks down at him afterwards with a fierce glare. Dante rolls up to his feet without any problem, but the psychological damage has already been done. Dar doesn't give him a moment to breathe, though, catching him with a Yakuza Kick before he can even straighten up fully. Dante falls down to one knee, and Dar goes back to the ropes, coming in for another Yakuza Kick, only to have Dante grab his foot and counter with a Spinning Back Elbow. This stuns Dar, and allows Dante to run back to the ropes and take him down with a Clothesline.
Dante lifts Dar back up to his feet, whipping him into the ropes and running into the opposite set, going for a Flying Shoulderblock, only to have Dar sidestep at the last minute. Both men quickly run towards the ropes, but Dar knocks Dante's Dropkick aside, countering another move. Coming off the ropes, Dar catches Dante with another Yakuza Kick, jarring the Cocky Canadian. But as Dar comes back for another one, Dante stops him with a Mule Kick, then chops him across the chest. Dar seemingly ignores the strike, just glaring at Dante. Dante decides not to hit him again, instead offering up a Knucklelock. Dar accepts the hold, and the two begin to fight over the test of strength, both showing a lot of fortitude in the effort. The two seemingly can't hold each other in one position for long, Dar forcing Dante's hands downward in between the two of them to bend his wrists back, only to have Dante push back up and push Dar's hands down the other way, over his shoulders. Finally, Dante manages to win the test, forcing Dar down onto one knee and keeping his leverage with it. After several moments, though, Dar suddenly breaks out by standing up a little, then kicking Dante hard in the inside of his thigh, the Cocky Canadian stumbling back and breaking the hold. Dar rolls his wrists a little to relieve the pain in them, then begins to circle with Dante once more, seemingly starting up another Knucklelock, but suddenly slides down and tries to take Dante's legs out from under him. Dante sidesteps and quickly pushes Dar down on all fours, riding him in an amateur wrestling position and pulling back on his chin slightly. After a few moments, Dante attempts to turn around and transition into a Front Facelock, but Dar twists out and forces Dante down onto the mat on his stomach, looking to lock in a Fujiwara Armbar. Dante rolls forward to escape the hold, however, landing with one of his feet right on the ropes, forcing Dar to back off and allowing Dante to roll back up to a vertical base. The crowd is mostly silent at this point except for a few occasional cheers or yells of encouragement, knowing that this is just the feeling-out period for two wrestlers who haven't faced each other in singles competition in over a year.
Once again, the two start to go for a Knucklelock, but Dante quickly slips around behind Dar, pulling him into a Reverse Waistlock. Dar quickly widens his base and attempts to pull Dante's arms apart and get out of the hold before he can hit any sort of impactful move out of it. Finally, he manages to break it, quickly moving forward and turning around, ready for more. The two start up a Knucklelock again, and Dante quickly goes for another Reverse Waistlock, but Dar's ready for it this time, and snaps off a Drop Toe Hold, moving forward to mount Dante's back before scraping his forearms across the back of Dante's neck with Crossfaces! London, as well as the crowd, realizes how painful that move must be, but really can't do anything about it, considering Dar isn't actually doing it across Dante's face. Finally, the Samoan relents, grabbing Dante's arms and rolling him over into a seated position to lock in a Surfboard, pulling back on Dante's arms while digging his knee into his back. This becomes almost another test of strength as Dante tries to pull his arms forward while Dar continues to wrench them back. Finally, Dante gives up and rolls up to his feet, seeing if he can get any more leverage there, now that he can turn his body around to try and reverse the hold. Dar fights this off as well as he can, even hitting a few Headbutts directly into the back of Dante's head and neck, but Dante finally manages to reverse the hold, twisting and pulling Dar's arms up behind him. Dar walks forward, trying to get his foot on the ropes rather than counter out of the hold, but Dante manages to pull him back towards the middle of the ring, forcing Dar to twist out of the move. After several attempts, Dar finally manages to twist back around, but suddenly breaks the hold, instead grabbing Dante around the waist and flexing back to drop him on his head with a German Suplex! The crowd lets out a cheer for that as Dante rolls onto his stomach, dazed from that sudden move as Dar grins a little, resting on all fours a few feet away from the Cocky Canadian.
Dar waits as Dante uses the ropes to start to pull himself back up to his feet, quickly running forward and connecting with a Baseball Slide to the back of Dante's legs, causing him to fall downward and roll out of the ring. Dar quickly follows him out, grabbing Dante's leg and walking over to drape it over the barrier, quickly reaching through the bars and locking in a Stretch Muffler over the steel! Dante cries out as his knee gets hyperextended from the move, but Dar breaks the hold off fairly quickly, only to kick Dante right in the knee while it's still on the barrier. Dar rolls into the ring while Dante spends the next several moments recovering on the outside, finally rolling back in. Dar doesn't let up, though, immediately grabbing Dante's leg and rolling him over onto his stomach before lifting his leg up and throwing it back down to the mat, slamming Dante's knee into the canvas. Dar does this once more before London makes him back off, the Samoan walking over to wait in a corner while Dante clutches his knee and cringes. Dar walks back over after a few moments and grabs Dante's leg, looking like he's going to roll him over for a Half Crab, but Dante stops this with a few chops to the chest, finally having to hit a thumb to the eye to make Dar back off completely, though. Dar gets back up a few moments later, grabbing Dante's leg once again and rolling him over onto his stomach before kneeling down and pressing his knee right into the back of Dante's, digging it into the joint. Dante manages to pull himself forward into the ropes, however, forcing Dar to break it off. But as soon as Dante is starting to get up, Dar is on him again, grabbing his leg and looking to go for a Dragon Screw. Dante blocks this, though, with several Bionic Elbows right down into Dar's head and the back of his neck, following it with a Mule Kick once Dar lets go, running to the ropes to come back and connect with his Running Fame-Asser, slamming Dar's face down into the mat. Doing that move seems to have hurt Dante's leg, though, as he clutches his knee while Dar tries to get his bearings as he rolls onto his back.
Dante gets up a few moments later, limping a little, and walks over to grab Dar, draping his neck across the middle rope. From there, Dante climbs out onto the apron, then jumps up and delivers a Leg Drop to the back of Dar's neck, this time guillotining his neck right down on the rope. The Cocky Canadian uses his good leg this time, and manages to get up fairly quickly because of that, grabbing Dar and pulling him to the outside. From there, he whips him into the rail, Dar's back slamming hard against the steel, then walks over to push his chest down against the top of the barrier. Raising one arm up in the air with a smirk, Dante then grabs the rail and vaults over, using the momentum to land another Leg Drop, this time smashing Dar's chest down into the top of the barrier, causing the Samoan to collapse and clutch his torso, coughing and gasping for breath. Once again, Dante has used his good leg to get around the pain in his other one, stepping back over the barrier and dragging Dar back to roll him into the ring, sliding in to follow it up with a pin. "1..." DISRESPECT! Dar kicks out before London can get to two, and Dante looks a little angry because of this, pulling Dar up to a seated position and locking in a Rear Chinlock, cranking back on his neck. Dar manages to shift himself forward a bit, propping himself up on his arms, then swings his leg back and hits Dante in the forehead, the shock as much as the pain causing him to break the hold. Dante, in a fit of anger, quickly snaps off a kick to Dar's back, but uses his bad leg out of habit without thinking, and cringes as he stumbles back, holding his knee. Still, Dante doesn't back off for long, grabbing Dar and lifting him up to connect with a Bodyslam before running to the ropes and coming back to hit a Leg Drop, remembering to use his good leg this time before following with a pin. "1...2" Dar kicks out. Dante once again follows with a Chinlock, pushing his knee into Dar's back this time to keep him from leaning far back enough to do his kick counter again. As Dar inches over towards the ropes, Dante suddenly turns the move into a Dragon Sleeper, but before Dante can really start working the more effective hold, Dar gets a foot on the rope.
Dante gets up, hitting a few stomps to Dar's chest before picking him up to his feet and grabbing his head to smash it off the top turnbuckle. From there, Dante connects with a hard Back Elbow right into the back of Dar's neck, causing the Samoan to stumble out of the corner and collapse into a seated position, Dante quickly following with a pin. "1...2" Dar gets a foot on the ropes, Dante having neglected to hook either of his legs. Dante seems not to be too bothered by this yet, though, picking Dar up and taking him over with a Snapmare before locking his legs around his neck to fall back and cinch in a Figure Four Headlock. The move is definitely effective, as Dar flails his arms about at first, obviosly having trouble getting air. Finally, though, he starts to roll himself over towards the ropes, Dante trying to steady himself, but finding it hard to get leverage with his legs tied up. Finally, Dar manages to get over to the ropes and get his foot on the bottom one to force a break from Dante. Dante hits Dar with a kick to the back once again before lifting him back up to his feet, only to have Dar knock his arms away and hit him with a brutal elbow. Dar falls down to one knee after the strike, though, still woozy from the headlock earlier, and Dante quickly runs to the ropes to hit Dar with his own Yakuza Kick right to the side of the face, paying him back from earlier. Dante turns around and raises his arms up to the crowd for a few moments, gloating over that, then walks over towards Dar, only to have the Samoan swing his leg back and catch him right in the forehead. Dante shakes it off quickly, connecting with a few stomps before Dar can get up, then lifts him up to his feet and pulls the Samoan into a Side Headlock. Dar attempts to push Dante into the ropes and send him across the ring, but Dante pulls Dar forward and slides down onto the mat, making the situation even worse for the Samoan. Finally, though, Dar manages to force himself back up to his feet, hitting a few shots into Dante's ribs to help this along, then walks forward to sling a leg over the bottom rope.
Dante quickly turns Dar around, though, and connects with a chop, making Dar cringe, then fires off two more before whipping Dar across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and catching him with a Flying Shoulderblock. Dar seems out of it after getting hit with that move, and Dante quickly follows up by pulling him into a Sleeper Hold, locking the move in while Dar is still down on the mat. Dar tries to twist out of the hold, leaning forward and turning every which way, finally managing to get up to his feet, though Dante still has the hold locked in tightly. Dar manages to counter this by running backwards and slamming Dante back into the turnbuckles, but Dante still keeps the hold on as Dar falls forward, locking in almost a clutch version of the move. Dar knows he can get out if he can only grab the ropes, and slowly pushes himself back up to his feet once again, slamming Dante back into the corner once more before grabbing the ropes, forcing Dante to break the hold. Before the two can be split up by London, Dar quickly turns around and nails Dante right in the jaw with an elbow, dazing the Cocky Canadian. Dar then begins to throw an onslaught of elbows at Dante, pounding into the side of his head over and over again with the strikes, leaving Dante seemingly out of it. Finally, Dar grabs Dante's arm, going to whip him into the opposite corner, but Dante reverses the move, sending Dar into it instead. As Dante runs forward and goes for his Rising Knee in the corner, though, Dar grabs him in mid-air and slams him down HARD onto the mat with an STO! Dante manages to roll through with the move, though it's obviously leaved him dazed, and Dar quickly grabs his head, pulling him across the ring to bash his forehead into one of the turnbuckles, and then running him across to do the same at the opposite corner. From there, he takes Dante to the middle of the ring and sets him up for a Vertical Suplex, but Dante drops down to one knee to block it. Dante locks in his own Front Facelock, and the two begin to try and take control of the move. Finally, Dante manages to win out, lifting Dar up and stalling for just a second or two before falling back and hitting the Canadian Vertical Suplex, of course sitting up afterwards and clapping for himself, a few fans in the crowd joining in with a cheer.
Afterwards, Dante turns and covers Dar once again. "1..." MORE DISRESPECT! While the one count can be attributed to Dante's lack of hooking the leg or his taunting claps afterwards, the show of defiance against him is apparent, and obviously frustrates the Cocky Canadian. Dante lifts Dar up to his feet, whipping him into the ropes, but Dar wraps his arms around the top one to stop his momentum. Dante quickly follows over before he can get away, though, hitting some hard chops across Dar's chest before whipping him across the ring and catching him with another chop on the rebound. Dar clenches his fist and walks forward, cringing, but not going down, turning around to face Dante, who just gives him another hard chop before grabbing him by the head and pulling him over to the corner to bash it off the top turnbuckle. Dar immediately turns around to face Dante once again, making it seem as though the attack hadn't even hurt him. Dante just grabs his head and runs him across to the opposite corner to do the same, but once again, Dar seems to ignore the attack. Dante grabs his arm, going to whip him across the ring, but Dar hooks his free arm over the top rope, preventing Dante from moving him. As Dante attempts to pull Dar off the ropes, the Samoan finally knocks him away with a boot to the face, coming up with a Dropkick directly into Dante's mouth, sending him crashing down to the mat. Dar seems to be taking this time now to shake off the effects of Dante's attacks from earlier, shaking his head to the side slowly to clear it while Dante lays on the mat a few feet away, seeming to be checking if all his teeth are still in place. Dar walks back over a few moments later, though, picking Dante up and pushing him up against the ropes with a few elbows before whipping him across the ring, catching him with his own chop on the way back. Dante cringes, but turns around to face Dar, not letting the Samoan one-up him in terms of ignoring pain. Dar responds with a few more elbows, then finally spins around for a ROARING BACK ELBOW TO THE THROAT!
Dante collapses onto the mat, clutching his neck and choking, his eyes wide as Dar walks towards the other side of the ring, ignoring admonishments from London, obviously not caring so much about the rules in this match. Walking back over to Dante, Dar picks him up to drape his throat across the second rope, pressing his foot against the back of his head and choking Dante on the ropes, turning around to nod to London with each count, using the ropes to swing up and connect with a Double Stomp right onto Dante's back before breaking off, responding to London's warnings with a cheeky "I HAVE 'TILL FIVE, REF!" This causes several bouts of laughter from the crowd while Dar goes over to climb out of the ring, Dante having rolled out of it after getting choked earlier. Dar lifts Dante up, then Bodyslams him right back down onto the floor before climbing up onto the apron and simply walking off of it to land a lazy Double Stomp onto Dante's chest, Dar's weight making up for the lack of jump behind the move. Dar lifts Dante back up and rolls him into the ring, following inside and dragging him over to the corner, where he picks him up for another Bodyslam, then pulls himself onto the second ropes. From there, Dar turns and looks out to the crowd before yelling "ONE MORE TIME?!" The crowd responds with an affirmative, and Dar nods, hopping off for one more Double Stomp onto Dante's chest, turning around to drop down and hook his leg for a pin. "1...2..." Dante kicks out. Dar quickly lifts Dante to a seated position, and locks in a Crossface Headlock. Dante quickly puts his foot on the ropes, not wanting to deal with the hold, and Dar releases it, but quickly nails Dante with a vicious kick right into his back before walking away.
Coming back a few moments later after shaking his leg out, Dar lifts Dante up and hits him with another Bodyslam before dropping down and locking in a Cobra Clutch, keeping Dante down on the mat and preventing him from moving very well. Dante, still feeling the effects from that elbow to the throat he received earlier, keeps trying to get himself over towards the ropes, inching slowly towards them. Finally, he manages to drape his foot across the bottom one, only to have Dar pull him back to the middle of the ring and lock in the move again, this time falling back and adding a Body Scissors onto the hold, trapping the Cocky Canadian. Dante flails his arm about wildly, trying to figure out some way to get out of the hold, but Dar has him in a pretty bad position, cinching the sleeper maneuver even tighter. Finally, Dante manages to rock back and forth, finally getting enough momentum to roll himself over and drape a foot across the ropes again, forcing Dar to break the hold. Dar stands up, adding a kick to Dante's back out of frustration, picking Dante up and pulling him into a Standing Head Scissors. Dante blocks whatever move Dar is going for, though, preventing himself from being lifted up, but Dar finally breaks it off, only to grab Dante by the head while he's still bent over to kick him right in the face! Moving back into the Standing Head Scissors, Dar is able to lift Dante up this time, tossing him forward in a throwing Powerbomb. Dante lands hard on his back, and Dar drops down to one knee to catch his breath for a few moments, then quickly follows over to grab Dante, lifting him back up and turning him around to face away towards the crowd, hooking his head under his arm as the crowd quickly gets up to their feet, cheering loudly as Dar flexex back to nail the DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAAHHHH!!! Dante gets spiked right on his head with the move, but manages to roll over and lay under the ropes before Dar can follow up, the Samoan watching from his position on the mat and seeming angered at the tactics of his rival.
Dar gets back up after a few moments, though, walking over to Dante and pulling him away from the ropes, setting him up in another Standing Head Scissors. This time, Dar hooks Dante's arms, looking for the Foldover Tigerbomb, but Dante once again plants his feet and widens his base, preventing Dar from getting the move off. After several moments of struggling, Dante starts to walk backward, bringing both of them towards the ropes while Dar continually tries to lift Dante up. Finally, Dante manages to lean down a bit, then straighten up, sending Dar upwards and tumbling over him with a Back Body Drop out of the ring! Dante collapses after delivering the move, still out of it after that Dangerous Backdrop, while Dar lays on the outside, also pretty out of it after being dumped all the way out of the ring to the floor. Finally, though, he manages to pull himself up, grabbing Dante and rolling him out of the ring to the outside as well, then grabbing his arm and whipping him into the steel barrier. Dante suddenly runs forward, though, before Dar can do anything, and catches him with a Shoulderblock, the burst of adrenaline catching Dar off-guard. Dante collapses right next to Dar, though, still unable to really capitalize on anything after the vicious attacks from Dar in this match. Finally, the Samoan gets up and rolls back into the ring. Several moments later, Dante pushes himself back up to his feet, slowly getting back up onto the apron, only to have Dar catch him with an elbow. With Dante stunned, Dar backs up a few feet, then runs forward to hit a LARIATOOO, sending Dante crashing down off the apron and back to the ground, the crowd cheering as Dar looks over the ropes towards his opponent, seemingly done with any attempts to continue the feeling out process, now determined to really start taking it to Dante. If he wasn't out of it before, the Cocky Canadian definitely is now, slowly dragging himself back up to his feet once again and climbing up onto the apron just in time to see Dar charging at him again. Dante blocks the Charging Elbow, though, causing Dar to stumble back and hold his arm, and Dante quickly moves to the corner, climbing up and jumping off for a Diving Clothesline, but Dar catches him with a kick to the ribs stomach in mid-air. Dar's own shin gets twisted in the process though, and both men fall down to the mat, holding their stomach and leg respectively.

Dar finally manages to pull himself up to a vertical base, limping as he walks over to Dante, grabbing his opponent and lifting him up to his feet, but Dante suddenly lashes out with a low Dropkick right into Dar's knee, sending him back down to the mat to clutch further at the joint, and giving Dante some extra time to recover. Dante gets up several moments later, walking over to Dar and grabbing his leg, grinning cockily now tha the seems to have this match back under his control as he rolls Dar over onto his stomach and picks his leg up into the air before slamming it back down onto the mat, driving Dar's knee into the canvas just as Dar had done to him earlier in the match. Dante, following Dar's lead from earlier, grabs his leg to do the same thing again, almost picking Dar's entire body off the canvas before slamming the knee right back down onto the mat. Dar cries out in pain, clutching at his knee, but Dante just grabs the leg again, this time stepping around it and twisting the legs to fall back for a Figure Four, but Dar manages to grab Dante's leg before he can hook it over his and really apply pressure to the move. Dante presses down hard, and due to Dar's lack of leverage in this position, he manages to get his leg to slip out of the Samoan's hand, locking in the hold fully and making Dar fall back onto the mat, flailing his arms in agony. Finally, though, with a bit of rocking, Dar manages to turn the move over and apply the pressure to Dante instead. Dante has more leverage in this position, though, and uses his hands to push back and rock them back into the original position of the hold, putting the pressure back on Dar. As Dar tries to reach back towards the ropes, Dante scoots his body backwards towards the middle of the ring, leaving Dar out of range to get a rope break. Pounding down on the mat in frustration, Dar starts to pull himself back towards the ropes, but Dante brings them back to the center before Dar can reach them. Dar tries again, scooting himself back quicker this time, and managing to grab the bottom rope, hooking his arm over it and holding on for dear life as Dante tries to pull them back towards the middle of the ring, but London forces him to break the hold before he can get Dar away from the ropes.
Dante picks Dar up as soon as he lets go of the ropes, throwing him out through the ropes to the outside of the ring and climbing down after him. There, he picks Dar up, bending one of his legs and lifting him up near the railing, Dar knowing what's coming and trying to fight off the hold, but Dante manages to get him up and connect with a Shinbreaker over the railing! Dar collapses down onto the ground, holding his knee and writhing about, but Dante knows he's got a good thing going now, and quickly grabs him, rolling the Samoan back into the ring. Instead of going for a pin, Dante pulls Dar over towards the center of the ring, grabbing his leg and attempting to roll Dar over for what looks like a Half Crab. Dar resists getting turned over for the move, and Dante finally just steps on his head to catch him off-guard and pulls him into the hold, bending his leg at an awkward angle to put more pressure on the knee rather than on his back. Eventually, Dante just stands up, still with one foot on Dante's head, and Dar is forced to swing his leg out wildly, aiming for Dante's head, as he can't really move with the Cocky Canadian pressing his head down into the mat. Luckily for him, he manages to catch Dante across the ear with his boot, and Dante stumbles back, holding the side of his face. Coming back, Dante grabs Dar's leg and quickly sends a punch right into the back of his thigh, making Dar cry out as his muscles cramp up. Dante quickly does the same thing again, punching hard directly into Dar's hamstring. From there, he holds his leg down, then connects with a Fist Drop to the thigh once again, right above the knee, making Dar cringe as the pain shoots through his leg. Adding a stomp for good measure, Dante then grabs Dar's legs, rolling him over onto his stomach. From there, Dante hooks Dar's leg in the back of his knee, Dar immediately trying to pull himself to the ropes, knowing what's coming. The crowd seems a bit confused as to why Dar's so anxious to get out of this maneuver, but once Dante steps on Dar's leg to keep him from going any further and to keep that leg in place, a few stand up, shocked at this turn of events. Smirking out at the crowd as he holds onto Dar's foot, Dante leans back a few times, then finally falls onto his back, curving Dar's spine up and locking in the HAAS OF PAIN!!!
Dar cries out in pain, nearly screaming as he attempts to claw his way towards the ropes, while Dante all the while just leans back, pulling harder and harder on Dar's leg and hyperextending his knee joint. Practically everyone in the youth center is on their feet at this point, many remembering the significance of this move. Dar passed out in his first title match against Dante from it, and one of the falls he took in their Ironman match was a submission to it. And now it seems like Dar is caught in the same predicament all over again. Trying to force his body upward in order to crawl forward on his hands, Dar shifts himself towards the ropes ever so slowly, occasionally dropping down to the mat and crying out in pain from the hold. Many in the crowd will him on, calling and yelling for Dar to get to the ropes, but it seems the Samoan is having a lot of trouble getting the energy to make it. Finally, though, he manages to get the ends of a few of his fingers wrapped around the bottom rope, but Dante suddenly stands up, grabbing Dar's legs and pulling him back out towards the middle of the ring before re-applying the hold, wrenching back on Dar's leg over and over. Dar seems like he's about ready to pass out, but forces himself up again and starts to drag himself towards the ropes once more. Dante really can't do anything to stop this, as he's on his back, except for standing back up again. Still, he attempts to make Dar submit before he can get to the ropes, and judging by the look on Dar's face, it seems like he has a good chance of making it happen. Finally, Dar collapses with his hand about a foot away from the ropes, laying limp on the mat as Dante continues to pull back on his leg. After a few moments, London comes over to check on him, and then starts the test, grabbing Dar's arm and lifting it up, watching as it flops down to the mat. The crowd is on the edge of their seat at this point, knowing that this could really be the end, as Dar seems completely unconscious. London lifts Dar's hand once again, and again, it flops down to the mat. Lifting it up one more time, London drops it...BUT IT STAYS UP! Dar holds his hand a few inches above the mat, clenching his fist repeatedly as Dante yells out in disbelief, pulling back harder on Dar's leg. The Samoan pounds his fist down on the mat, willing himself to move again, and finally pushes himself up, yelling out with exertion before throwing himself forward one more time to drape it over the bottom rope, holding on tightly to it this time. London forces Dante to break the hold, but the Cocky Canadian seems shocked, unable to believe that put Dar away twice hasn't worked.
Dante grabs Dar's leg, stomping down on his knee out of frustration, then pulls him out away from the ropes, this time locking in a Spinning Toe-Hold. Dar cries out again, thinking that he was finally going to get some relief for his knee, but Dante doesn't seem like he wants to give up going after it quite yet. After several moments in this hold, Dante breaks it, then stands up, pulling Dar up to his feet as well, holding on to the one foot still. Suddenly, though, Dar throws out a desperation Enzuigiri, catching Dante in the side of the head and causing him to stumble back. Dar fights the pain in his knee to start to get up as Dante comes back towards him, managing to throw out a low Dropkick right into Dante's knee to stall him further. From the mat, Dar takes on an Inoki defensive, sending kicks out into Dante's legs with his good leg, though he can't get much power behind it. Finally, Dante stops this by managing to place a well-aimed kick of his own into Dar's bad knee, making the Samoan cringe and roll over to the side. Dante falls down to one knee, taking a few moments to let the pain in his legs wear off, then stands up, lifting Dar to his feet, only to have the Samoan suddenly knock his arms away and throw him down to the mat with a Bodyslam. As Dante sits up, Dar grabs his head from behind and begins throwing in FIERCE KNEES to the back of his head, though the fact that he has to use his left leg decreases some of the force that would normally be behind the strikes. Finally, after several of them, he pushes Dante down to the mat with a pin. "1...2..." Dante kicks out. Dar rolls over to the side, clutching his knee and looking like he doesn't even want to stand up anymore, but finally manages to pull himself up to his feet. From there, he lifts Dante up as well, then gets a tight hold on his arm, suddenly pulling him forward into a Short-Arm Clothesline. Quickly lifting Dante back up, Dar pulls him into another, and another, and finally sends Dante crashing down hard to the mat with a fourth, dropping over him and hooking the leg for another pin. "1...2...TH-" Dante kicks out.
Dar really seems out of it by this point, definitely needing some time to rest his leg, but knows that Dante won't stay down for long. Picking himself up to his feet once more, Dar leans down and lifts Dante up into a Standing Head Scissors, once again hooking the arms and going for a Foldover Tigerbomb. Again, though, Dante lowers his base to keep from getting lifted up, and manages to hit a Back Body Drop out of the hold. He seems dazed afterwards, though, stumbling forward a little, and Dar pulls himself back up to his feet, turning him around and hitting him with a boot to the gut before setting up the Foldover Tigerbomb once more. Dante manages to Back Body Drop out of it again, stumbling back towards the corner, and Dar gets up to his feet, bashing him with a hard elbow that sends Dante into the turnbuckles, leaving the Cocky Canadian leaning against the ropes for support. Dar backs up several feet, then slaps his arm, suddenly running forward and nailing Dante right in the jaw with the CORNER CHARGING ELBOW! Dar leans against the nearby ropes, Dante's arms draped over the top ones being the only thing keeping him standing. Dar climbs up onto the second ropes as quickly as he can, going for some punches in the corner, but Dante suddenly throws him down to the mat to prevent the attack. As Dar gets up, Dante runs out of the corner, but Dar stops his attack with a well-placed elbow, only to have Dante throw a huge chop at his chest, knocking Dar down to the mat before Dante collapses beside him, the crowd letting out a cheer for the resiliency of both men. Dante is the first one to get up this time due to Dar's aching knee, and lifts him up to his feet, suddenly grabbing Dar's head and hitting a series of his own elbows to stun Dar, then grabbing his arm and coming back with a series of his own Short-Arm Clotheslines, picking Dar up each time before he can fall all the way to the mat, though hitting five, likely just to one-up the Samoan. Finally, Dante picks Dar up and onto his shoulders in a sideways Torture Rack, then spins him out, falling down to hit the BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN!
Dante stumbles back towards the ropes after delivering the slam, the pain from the elbows probably catching up from him. After shaking it off, he walks back over to Dar, starting to pick him up, only to have Dar throw his leg up and kick him in the side of the head. Dante stumbles back to fall down onto the mat, holding his temple and staring up at the lights dizzily. Dar picks himself up, takes a step forward, then stumbles back into the ropes, falling down to a seated position against them, looking just as out of it as Dante. Dante manages to pull himself up with the ropes, walking across the ring over to Dar and lifting him up to hit a few chops against the ropes before whipping him across the ring. Dar, however, collapses in the middle of the ring before he can even get to the opposite set of ropes, weakly holding his knee and looking almost unconscious, breathing heavily. Dante leans back against the ropes, seeming just as tired, but moves over to roll Dar onto his back and hook his leg for a pin. "1...2...TH-" Dar manages to get a shoulder up, weakly. Dante sits back on his knees, holding his head in his hands and shaking it slowly, but then grabs Dar again, seeming to have gotten an idea. Lifting him up to his feet, Dante turns Dar away from him, then tucks his head under his arm, the crowd standing up and letting out an anticipatory "OOHHHH SHI-" before Dante pulls Dar back for a DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! Dante and Dar both lay on the mat after the move is delivered, Dar occasionally twitching every so often, but otherwise motionless. Finally, Dar seems to snap out of it, rolling over towards the ropes and moving his arms along them, looking delirious, as if he doesn't even know where he is. Dante gets up to his feet at this point, grabbing Dar and pulling him away from the ropes, Dar perhaps instinctually trying to hang on to them, but gets set up for another DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAA-NO! Dar suddenly slams his elbow down into the back of Dante's neck repeatedly, then turns and grabs him around the waist, twisting around to slam Dante down with his own TURN-AROUND SPINEBUSTER!!! Dar collapses over to the side after delivering the move, the crowd letting out an uproarious cheer for both men going through all this.
Dante gets up to his feet a little before Dar due to using the ropes to help him, watching as Dar slowly forces himself back up to a vertical base again. As he does so, Dante dashes forward with a Clothesline, but Dar ducks it, only to have Dante turn around and grab his head to pull him down to the mat with a Bulldog. Dante stands up, then runs to the ropes, coming back to hit a Leg Drop onto the back of Dar's neck, standing up and doing the same thing again, battering Dar's neck with the moves. Finally, Dante lifts Dar up and throws him down to the mat with a Bodyslam before walking to the nearby corner, starting to climb up. However, Dar rolls away from the corner before Dante can even set a move up, and Dante hops back down, following him across the ring. Dante quickly catches up to Dar as he starts to get up to his feet, booting the Samoan in the head before grabbing him and dropping down to spike him into the mat with a DDT. Dar starts to push himself up to his feet again, seemingly too delirious with pain and adrenaline to even stay down, but Dante drills him with a second DDT. Again, Dar starts to roll up to his feet, but Dante plants him down on the mat with another Bodyslam, then climbs up into the corner, the crowd watching as he throws himself off with a Top Rope Splash...But Dar rolls out of the ring! Dante lands hard on his stomach, rolling over onto his side and clutching his mid-section while Dar kneels on the outside, leaning against the side of the ring while catching his breath. Finally, he rolls back into the ring, Dante starting to get his air back now after getting the wind knocked out of him, and picks Dante up to his feet, only to get his arms knocked away as Dante knocks him back into the corner with several chops. Dar breathes heavily for a few moments, then lets out a yell, coming back and hitting Dante right in the jaw with several elbows, finally knocking him down with another ROARING BACK ELBOW TO THE THROAT! Dante collapses to the mat, rolling around and writhing in agony while clutching his neck, Dar falling down to one knee in the corner and trying to catch his breath, ignoring London's admonishing.
Dar finally stands up, walking back over to Dante and lifting him up to his feet, running back towards the ropes for a LARIATOOO-NO! Dante blocks it, bashing Dar with a right hand, only for Dar to spin around and knock him the ******** out with a ROARING ELBOW!!! The crowd lets out a huge cheer for that, Dar holding his head for a few moments as he shakes off that punch, while Dante weakly turns his head from side to side on the mat, looking pretty out of it. Dar walks back over, picking Dante up again, and quickly spins around, knocking him back down with a second ROARING ELBOW!!! Dar covers Dante this time, hooking the leg for a pin. "1...2...THR-NO!" Somehow, Dante manages to get a shoulder up off the mat, shocking Dar as well as most of the crowd. Finally, though, Dar gets up and pulls Dante up as well, though the Cocky Canadian seems to be having trouble standing at this point. Dar hooks both his arms, but Dante doesn't even stay on his feet, instead dropping to one knee out of exhaustion. Dar manages to pull him up again, though, and flips him up to nail the FOLDOVER TIGERBOMB! "1...2...THR-NOOO!" Dante kicks out AGAIN, Dar not even bothering to transition into the Half Crab this time, just falling over to the side and looking very tired. Finally, though, he pulls himself back up one more time, dragging Dante to his feet as well and hitting him with a few elbows out of frustration before pulling his hand down into a Pumphandle position, hooking his head under Dante's arm and flexing back for a WRIST-CLUTCH X-PLODAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Dante lands right on his head from the move, and Dar quickly moves over him in a lateral press pin. "1...2...THR-NOOOO!" Once again, Dante somehow manages to get a shoulder up, denying Dar the victory once again. Dar seems lost now, sitting up and looking over at London, who tells him it was only a two count, making the Samoan slowly shake his head and look down at the mat, as if he's trying to figure out what he can do at this point to finally get the win he so desires.
Whatever it is, it has to start with getting Dante back up, and Dar goes over to do just that, starting to lift Dante back up to his feet, but the Cocky Canadian seems particularly lifeless, barely responding to Dar trying to pull him upwards. Finally, Dar just moves around to stand between Dante's legs, reaching forward and hooking both his legs behind Dar's in a Mexican Surfboard set-up. From there, Dar reaches forward, hooking one arm around Dante's neck and twisting his other arm up into a Hammerlock, but Dante suddenly seems to realize what's going on, managing to get his legs untwisted from Dar's and rapidly trying to scramble away, but Dar keeps a tight hold on him, pulling him back to lock in a STANDING ARCHETYPE BREAKER!!! Though Dar can really only make the move into a Dragon Sleeper with a Hammerlock from this position, the hold is still quite effective as he wrenches back on Dante's neck, jerking and pulling on the muscles in an effort to get a tap out from his opponent. Dante attempts to lean his body forward to prevent from getting bent over backwards, but Dar still keeps pulling his neck back as Dante tries to walk forward towards the ropes. Just as it seems Dante might reach them, Dar pulls him back and drops down to one knee, grounding Dante. Finally as Dante seems to stop struggling, Dar releases the hold and pushes him down to the mat for a pin. "1...2...THR-NOOO!" Dante throws a shoulder up, barely, despite all the pain he must be feeling after that hold. This time, Dar rolls Dante onto his back, once again setting up the surfboard, then locks in the Dragon Sleeper and Hammerlock, falling backwards to lock in the real ARCHETYPE BREAKER!!! Dante's now caught in a hold that gives him no leverage or anywhere to go, with only one arm free to try and get to the ropes, which aren't anywhere near him. All he can do is try to roll over, but Dar keeps that in check, wrenching back harder and harder on his neck. Finally, Dante's movements slow once again, and his arm falls limp at his sides, his struggling stopping. Dar decides to break the hold and go for a pin rather than give Dante a chance to try and come back during the unconsciousness test, covering him once more. "1...2...THR-NOOOO!" Once again, Dante gets his shoulder up off the mat, absolutely refusing to let Dar get that win.
Dante rolls over towards the ropes, holding the back of his neck and seeming to be shuddering in pain after those vicious submission holds, while Dar just sits on the mat a few feet away, looking lost once more. Finally, though, he gets up again, knowing he shouldn't have to do too much more to Dante to get the win. Reaching down, he lifts up the Cocky Canadian, leaving him staggering, and throws out another ROARING ELBOW...BLOCKED! BUT A ROARING BACK ELBOW CONNECTS!!! Dante stumbles back, but doesn't go down, Dar throwing out a kick to his thigh, then goes for another ROARING ELBOW-NO! Dante ducks it, running back to the ropes and coming back to RUIN DAR'S JAW WITH A JUMPING KNEE STRIKE!!! Both men collapse after the move, laying on the mat and taking the time to either catch their breath and recover in the case of Dante, or try to figure out why a semi-truck was allowed to be used in a wrestling match, in the case of Dar. However, from ringside comes an announcement.
Roselyn: "Fifty minutes have passed. Ten minutes remain in the time limit!"
Dante smiles a bit at this, knowing that he has the champion's advantage on his side. Dar seems perturbed, though, knowing that he now has to defeat Dante within ten minutes. Dante gets up first, walking over to Dar and lifting him up to his feet, booting him in the head twice in the process, and then turns him around, hooking his leg around Dar's and tossing Dar's arm behind his head, the crowd standing up in anticipation for the ROCK BOTTOM REDU-NO! Dar manages to elbow out of the move, only to have Dante bash him with a forearm to the back of his head before reaching down to hook his head under Dar's arm, wrapping his arms around his waist and going for another DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH-NO! Dar once again barely escapes by pounding his elbow down into the back of Dante's neck, turning around and hooking Dante's arm in a Hammerlock, pulling him back into another STANDING ARCHETYPE BREAK-NO! Dante pulls out of the move and pulls Dar into a SMALL PACKAGE! "1...2...THR-NOOOO!" Dar barely manages to kick out from that flash pin, the crowd sighing with relief as Dante pounds his fists down on the mat, thinking that he really had Dar there.
Dante shakes off the frustration, though, knowing he has a big advantage in this match, and picks Dar up again, pushing him back against the ropes and chopping him a few times, cracking the edge of his hand across Dar's chest, then goes to whip him across the ring. Dar reverses it, though, throwing out a Spin Kick, but Dante manages to catch it in time and just throw Dar down to the mat. Dante gets up, waiting back by the ropes as Dar lifts himself up to his feet, then runs forward to connect with a Running Fame-Asser! Smashing Dar's face down into the mat with the move, Dante quickly rolls Dar over for a pin. "1...2...TH-NO!" Dar gets a shoulder up, showing that there's still some life left in him. Dante takes a few deep breaths, then suddenly grins, seeming to have just thought of something. Getting to his feet, he reaches down to pick Dar up, hitting him with a few kicks to the head on the way to keep him stunned, then throws Dar's arm behind his head, pointing out at the crowd before lifting Dar up and slamming him down to the mat with the classic ROCK BOTTOM!!! Dante quickly follows up with a pin, hooking Dar's leg. "1...2...THR-NOOO!" Dar kicks out, defying the old finisher of Dante's, and giving himself a chance to still win those titles. Dante now has that same lost look on his face that Dar had earlier, but a lightbulb goes on a few moments later, and the cocky grin returns as Dante pulls Dar back up to his feet, once again setting him up for what looks like a Rock Bottom. But instead of hitting that move, Dante sticks his knee out and lands the EVOLUTIONARY BACKBREAKER! Dar arches his back on the mat, crying out in pain, but Dante doesn't follow with a pin, instead going to the ropes, climbing up and looking down at Dar for a few moments before suddenly turning around to face the crowd, diving back with the SAAAAAVE THE QUEEEEEEEEEEN...BUT IT GETS KNEES! Dante rolls off of Dar, clutching his stomach and rolling over towards the ropes as Dar lays on the mat, seeming to have used all his energy just to get his legs up there and block the devastating Diving Moonsault that had won Dante all of his important matches, including the deciding fall in their Ironman match.
Dante finally pulls himself together, walking over to Dar, who's just now starting to get up, and catching him with a boot to the gut before pulling him near the middle of the ring and into a Standing Head Scissors. As he hooks Dar's arms, the crowd stands up once again, knowing what this could lead to, but so does Dar, who quickly lowers his base to prevent from getting lifted up, then dropping down to one knee, all while Dante continually tries to lift him up. Finally, after several moments of struggling, Dante throws one last burst of effort into it, lifting Dar up for the SHINING ABY-NO! Dar falls back down to his feet and uses the momentum to lift Dante up over his shoulders, then slams him down hard onto the mat with an Alabamaslam, falling over to the side after delivering the Spinebuster-like maneuver, having effectively dodged the bullet there. Dar gets up a few moments before Dante, quickly running back to the ropes and coming at him with a CHARGING ELBO-NO! Dante ducks the move, turning around and pulling Dar into a Russian Legsweep position, lifting him for the ROCK BOTTOM REDU-NO! Dar manages to break out and grab the ropes, only to get pulled back by Dante, but breaks out of the hold again. Dante won't let him go, though, wrapping his arms around his waist in a Reverse Waistlock, but Dar breaks out, quickly turning around and nailing Dante with an elbow before grabbing his head and taking him out with a BURNING ELBOW SMAAAAAASH!!! Dar falls down to one knee after delivering the strike, Dante collapsing onto his back, the two men nearly running on empty at this point. Dar gets up after a few more moments, lifting Dante back up to his feet, and winds back for a second BURNING ELBOW SMAAAASH!!! Dante collapses down to the mat once more, and Dar falls over him, hooking his leg for a pin. "1...2...THR-NOOOO!" Despite how close the strikes must have come to knocking Dante unconscious, the Cocky Canadian still manages to get a shoulder up, showing amazing resiliency to Dar's attacks.
Dar knows he's back in control of the match now, though, and doesn't spend much time resting, picking Dante back up and suddenly pulling him into his own Russian Legsweep position, the crowd standing up and looking on in shock as Dar grins before lifting up and hitting Dante with his own ROCK BOTTOM REDUX!!! The crowd lets out a giant cheer as Dante's face gets blasted down into the canvas with the move, Dar quickly rolling him over onto his back and hooking the leg for a pin. "1...2...THR-HAND ON THE ROPES!!!" The crowd looks on in shock as Dar rolls back off of Dante and holds his face in his hands, he, along with most everyone in the youth center, having thought that that was going to be the end of it. Dar can't lament this for long, though, knowing he has a time limit that he has to beat, pulling Dante back up to his feet and turning him away to tuck his head under his arm, trying once more for the DANGEROUS BACKDROPPAAAAAAAAHHHHHH-NO! DANTE REVERSES IT INTO A CROSS-BODY! Dante rolls off of Dar after delivering the counter, both men now just laying on the mat, exhausted and drained from nearly one hour of going at each other with no victory. Still, Dar is up first again, the thought that he's working against the clock still heavy in his mind as he stands by the ropes, coming at Dante with a CHARGING ELBO-NO! Dante blocks the move, then goes for a Discus Punch, only to have Dar duck that and grab him in a Reverse Waistlock, but Dante spins out of it and puts Dar in one of his own, flexing back to DROP DAR ON HIS HEAD WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX!!! BRIDGE! "1...2...THR-NOOO!" Dar manages to kick out, despite all the times he's been landed on his head throughout this match. Dante is the first to get up this time, seemingly not wanting to just burn the clock down quite yet, picking Dar up and setting him up for another German Suplex, but Dar suddenly breaks away and spins around to bash him upside the head with a ROARING ELBOW!!!
Both men fall after that strike, but Dar gets up first, knowing that the time is winding down now. Grabbing Dante, he lifts him back up to his feet, the Cocky Canadian practically limp after that Roaring Elbow, but Dar doesn't let up, hooking him in a Double Chickenwing before flexing back and FOLDING HIM IN GOD DAMN HALF WITH A TIGER SUPLEX!!! Dante rolls over to the ropes as Dar gets up onto his knees, neither men having enough energy anymore to run, Dante instead just trying to get away from Dar and run down the time. Dar manages to catch up to him in the chase around the ring, though, and pulls him away from the ropes, grabbing both Dante's arms and hooking them around his neck before flexing back into the PLEXCELLENCE!!! Once again, Dante gets driven right down on his head onto the mat, and the Cocky Canadian rolls to the ropes once more, delirious at this point, but instinctually knowing that something bad will happen if Dar catches him again. The Samoan quickly grabs Dante again, though, pulling him back to the middle of the ring and hitting him with a few elbows before throwing a knee into his gut, then bending him down to wrap an arm around his head, the other going down to cross his legs, trying to lift him up. Dante seems too limp to even be picked up, though, and Roselyn suddenly calls out from ringside.
Roselyn: "Ten seconds remaining!"
The crowd immediately picks up, counting down. "TEN...NINE...EIGHT..." Dar, hearing this, tries as hard as he can to get Dante lifted up, but it seems to be really difficult, Dante doing everything he can to keep from being picked up for this move. "SEVEN...SIX...FIVE..." Suddenly, Dar stops, then throws out one last burst of energy, managing to lift Dante up so that he slides over his shoulder, hooking him into the move and dropping down to the mat for the X-DRILLAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH II!!!!! The crowd POPS HUGE as Dar connects with the Cross-Legged Schwein, one of the fans even yelling out "SCHWEIN FLATLINE! SCHWEIN FLATLINE!" like the stupid puro mark he is. Dar weakly falls backwards, draping an arm across Dante's chest as London slides down for the pin...
AND THE BELL RINGS!
The crowd's elation suddenly turn to boos of disappointment, having actually wanted to see an ending to this match, but it seems they aren't going to get one. Neither Dante nor Dar move, no reaction from either man able to be judged at the moment.
Roselyn: "Ladies and Gentlemen, the time limit on this match has expired. The match is declared a draw. However, by default...STILL BTWF Unified Heavyweight Champion...DANTE CABRELL!!!"
After several more moments, Dar rolls off of Dante, laying on his stomach and propping himself up on his forearms, staring down at the mat. The crowd seems rather calm now, having apparently enjoyed the match a lot, but the lack of winner and Dar's apparent failure at his goal has left a sort of somber mood. After a few moments, though, several crowd members begin to cheer loudly, most of the crowd soon joining in, a "GEE-DUB-AYY" chant starting soon enough, quickly followed by a "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU". Dar slowly stands up, walking over to take a seat in the corner of the ring, leaning back against it and draping his arms over the middle ropes, slowly shaking his head as London brings the belts back into the ring and places both of them on Dante's chest. The Cocky Canadian seems to have been hit pretty hard with that last move, as all he can do is weakly move his arms over the belts and hold them to his chest. And while the crowd seems happy over having been able to witness such a monumentous match live, they can't help but wonder what will happen now that it seems Dar has failed at his One Shot at Glory...
