Niji padded along the faint path that led from one berry patch to another. He was a bit hungry, and hoping to find some ripe berries to eat.

Being rather bored, Ridley did something he rarely did... venture away from his trainer's side. Spotting an Eevee, he decided it would occupy him to initiate a battle, so... he charged for it

Seeing an opening, Ridley sprinted faster to the Eevee. As he got closer, he opened his mouth and a blue ball formed in front of it. When it was large enough, he skidded to a stop, planted his feet and sent the ball flying to his opponent.

Startled by this sudden attack, Niji quickly sent dirt flying at the attacking pokemon.

Niji went tumbling from the blow. He ended up in a patch of slightly softer, damper dirt off the main path. Narrowing his eyes, he started digging his paws in, sending up great clumps of earth instead of just stinging sand.

Niji yelped when the attack hit. That Lucario kept spitting nasty attacks! Maybe he should try eating some dirt! Niji kicked more dirt at the Lucario.

Niji yipped and scrambled away, making sure to send a bit of loose dirt at the Lucario's face as he did.
