Fur: Sandpaper brown w/taupe markings

Markings: Underside of his muzzle is a taupe color, as are the areas around his eyes so that it seems he's wearing a sandpaper brown face mask. He also has a black band that circles the whole of his neck, with a silver colored marking in the middle, it resembles some sort of collar...

Size: Hige was on his own for a while, relying on the kindness of the occasional stranger, or scraps he could find here and there. He's slightly on the thin side as a pup.

After being taken in by Selia, Hige's diet became slowly more balanced. He was well fed from then on out. He came to be about average size as a teen.

As an adult he's got a thick healthy coat for the cold of winter, and lean, strong muscles from regular midnight hunts and runs.

With early adulthood comes a sense of independence. Hige has been "suffering" from murky dreams for the last several moons, each week the night-visions coming more clearly and consistantly until they even haunted his daylight-dozes.

Hoping to ease the discomfort of those dreams, following a strong urge to go on a journey with his mate, relieve the pack of it's large numbers, and escape the suffering of the neighboring freelands Hige and Loki set out to begin their own pack. Since this decision was made it was unofficial, if only in Hige and Loki's minds, just who would be leading once they got there. As the two gathered their numbers and set out on their trek to the South, a firm sense of leadership began seeding itself within the two. Where there was once uncertainty, submission, and insecurity now resides hope.

Not much else has changed about the collared-male. He is, if anything, more protective and with a much stronger sense of responsibility, but not too deep down the playful, flirtatious, easy-going goofball of a teddy-bear still lives just waiting for a chance to come out and play now and again.

If there's anything that sets Hige apart from the rest it's both his curiosity for odd markings and his weakness for females: especially ones in distress.

Since he began growing Hige has also shown a stronger sense of responsibility. He's taken to Thayne like an older brother, and takes care of the celtic-accented pup, feeding him and giving him a den to sleep in at night. Hige also convinced Loki to accompany the pack to new territory, and on the first afternoon underneath the cover of the trees and the falling blanket of snow they confessed their quickly developed feelings. Despite how quickly their relationship grew they are eager to start a family. Hige will continue to care for Thayne, and hopes that once he isn't sleeping Loki and Thayne will have a chance to grow on each other.

Hige seems to be quite the odd one. The playful side from his pup-hood remains, but Hige has also developed a bit of a lazy streak. It's more charming than a fault, however, as it seems to suit him. He seems to have a weakness for females, as he's always more than eager to help them out. It doesn't keep him from taking a hint, though. Recently Hige has prooven to have a good ear for listening, as well as a loyal streak three rivers wide. Loki and Thayne are to thank for this.

He's at ease with Selia, Devvyl, Thayne, and Loki. He seems to have his own best intrest at heart first, others second in the case of strangers.

Hige is still young yet, so his personality hasn't fully developed yet, but none the less he is most certainly a playful little fellow.

He's determined to be of help whenever he can, and has an independent streak. His urge to set out on his own and take care of himself, despite lack of parental figures, is what led him to the Shoailin woods. Like most pups Hige is also ever-curious. His nose has already gotten him lost overnight, alone in the woods on several occassions. sweatdrop

Once he was taken in by Selia Hige's playful side emerged once more. It's very obvious that he likes to play, and to make new friends. All and all he's a very social boy. Only time will tell if it stays this way.
