Ajax was born in a large pack some moons away, raised alongside a strong litter of pups. With his dark fur, Ajax stood out a little bit, and was more than happy to stand up for himself whenever other pups and yearlings would pick on him. As he grew, and the pups developed their own heirarchies, Ajax remained reasonably near the top. He never had any huge aspirations to be one of the elite ranks, nor Alpha, but he had a good brain on him, he was a decent fighter and could track fairly well, and it did not take long before other wolves were asking for his advice and help as he matured. The black coated brute had never been shy and retiring - he was brash and outgoing, and he would volunteer himself for hunts and training, sparring matches and raids.
He left the pack at two years, wandering and forming a pack with other more experienced wolves. The brute completed his Epsilon training as a Delta; he always excelled in hunting more than scouting or fighting; and has helped the Archon pack ever since his training was completed. Ajax's experience as a Delta helped him attain the Elite rank of Beta, a rank he held firmly for almost a year before surpassing the elderly Alpha and taking Alphaship for himself. The brute has been Alpha over the end of Winter, through Spring, and now into Summer. Any doubts or uncertainties about the wolf have now passed, and Ajax and his pack have flourished.
