Hello! I am Lezaer. This is my first thread here on the Silver Screen Guild. xd One of my favorite Movies of all time is Donnie Darko! I watch it at least once a week.It huants me the more I watch it.Maybe you have seen it, maybe not.If you haven't you really need to.

Here we will talk about the Movie and all things relating to it if you like.If you haven't seen it watch it and come back.If you have seen it then I have already got Ya!( I would think).

Here is a little tease for you who have not seen Donnie Darko!

Donnie Darko is a 2001 cult film, the first by writer and director Richard Kelly. Set in 1988, the movie is a psychological science fiction film about a boy named Donnie Darko who, after narrowly escaping death, has visions of an eerie, bipedal, giant rabbit named Frank who predicts when the world will end. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Donnie, Jena Malone, Mary McDonnell, Drew Barrymore, Patrick Swayze, Noah Wyle and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I think iChunks was with me and some other friends when we watched it... Don't know why he didn't see the rest... neutral

I found it very eerie, but in a good way. It grabbed my attention and made me think...repeatedly. Time-travel related films do that to me... xp

I think I'll watch it again...and again...and again... eek

I have seen it about 80 times!It just keeps getting better and better! blaugh The sound track is really great.I love those 80's songs and they go so well with the demented story line!I do agree with you about the thinking aspect of the movie. 3nodding

I think Donnie Darko is a great movie that was overlooked when it came out. I don't think it played in theaters where I'm from. For pepple who saw the movie they should check out the website. www.donniedarko.com to find out a little more info after the tangent universe collapsed.

I agree with you Lezaer, the soundtrack is awesome! I heart all the the 80's songs and the score.

heart my fav part was when Donnie was sitting in the chair and that trippy thing led him up to his parents room and he found the gun I jus thought that the whole part was sooo trippy heart

Yes! It was over looked. I got to see it in the theater just by dumb luck(Thank God).Patrick Swayze and Drew Barrymore where the only household names and where not flaming hot draws at the time.That is a great site.Thanks for the link.I am adding a few links on the 1st page of this thread you all might find interesting and informative!

I really ought to see it, I just haven't got around to it. I even have the dvd, I just haven't watched it yet.
