General All-Purpose Rules




Upon joining you MUST read all the rules and PM the two codewords hidden in them to the Captain or one of the Vice-Captains before your character will be considered for approval.



1) Be respectful. This is the number one most important rule. If people are respectful of one another the result is a friendly and fun environment where people can feel comfortable.



2) No flaming! If you have a problem with another player, DO NOT swear at them on this forum, settle it in PM's. If things get too bad and you don't think you can handle it on your own, bring the issue to the crew for help.



3) No overly lewd, obscene or gory discussions. Keep things within the rules of Gaia.



4) Admins have the right to change or add rules at any time as needed.



Role Play Rules




1) No god-moding or power playing. No one is invincible!



2) No controlling other people's characters in any way, shape or form. When writing make sure you leave your posts open, eg:

Good ☑
He was a good aim, so the likelihood of missing was small, but not impossible.
He exhaled slowly, pulling the trigger as he did and the bullet began flying toward its target.

This gives the other character a chance to react.

Bad ☒
He easily shot the man right through the heart. He was a good shot, and he never missed.
This doesn't allow the other character to react, and is unfair.


3)In this RP we write in Third Person Narrative, eg:

Good ☑
He walked into the room with his books tucked firmly under his arm.

Bad ☒
He walks into the room holding his books under his arm.


4) All posts should be AT LEAST two to three paragraphs long, consisting of four to five sentences. Quantity often begets quality, remember that. If someone posts a really nice, intricate post and you respond with minimal code word is silver-rain effort you are likely to be getting less from your roleplaying experience.

5) All members are limited to six characters.

6)Each player is limited to ONE female character due to the nature of the story. An exception MAY be made if the ratio is off.

7) Remember to properly label posts. Labels are as such:

Open

Public threads where anyone can post.

Invite Only
Threads that can only be posted in by invited characters.

Private
Private threads where only certain users can post.

Finished
Finished threads that need to be moved.

Dead
Inactive threads that need to be removed.



cool Please no sexually explicit descriptions or overtly violent ones either. Gaia's rules, once again, apply here.



Character Creation Rules




1) DO NOT post for your character unless/until they are approved.



2) Face claims go to the first person who is approved, unless the additional character is a twin of the first. Please check the list of claimed faces before attempting to claim one. Remember, you don't HAVE to use real-life photos, anime pictures are acceptable. If you use an anime face from a specific anime, it needs to be officially claimed as well.



3) All relations or past histories with ANY character MUST be approved by the character's player. Admins will make sure any original character's players approve before approving the new character.



4) Which brings me to one of the MOST important rules codeword is bluebird which is absolutely no Mary-Sues or Gary-Lous. Such characters WILL be rejected, with no exceptions.
