Ok, I'm attempting to write a new story or maybe even a collection of stories featuring a new character of mine. I'll post her info in here shortly, any help would be appreciated as would criticisms/suggestions. I can't stress this enough, I may think I can write but I need the opinions of others'. So in the next couple of days/weeks look for any installments, I'm sure they'll be interesting.

Ok here's the basics, this is how she starts out her "journey" she can become an entirely different person by the end.
Name: Kerridwyn nic Manus Princess of Darkness and Old Blood Age: 1500 years old (about 20 to the Fae) Height: 5'7" Weight: 135lbs Race: Unseelie Sidhe Eye Color: Three-ringed in traditional Sidhe fashion from brown to green Skin Color: Not the white luminescent color of most Unseelie, has a bit of a caramel tone and is somewhat pearlescent Hair Color: Brown and Honey with accents of red, looks like spun citrine in the right lighting or when she's calling power Likes: Conviction, her homeland, Poetry, Pasta (the greatest human invention), "flying free", learning, her race's history and lore. Dislikes: Petty squabbles, Onions, Pride, Dictators, being caged in, Instigators. Flaws: Is very learned but still naive, a little too trusting, her conviction/stubborness get her into trouble, fiery attitude, not very good at controlling her power, gets frustrated easily. Weapons: Twin daggers Powers/Skills: Has a tattoo on her arm of pearlescent green vines that can extend to become full-body armor when she's in danger. However, like regular armor it can be breached. Her Hands of Power Old Blood and Darkness. Old Blood allows her to call forth blood from wounds whether they be old or new, Darkness lets her control it; she holds sway over the Sluagh, dreams, and the hounds of the Wild Hunt Brief Background: Kerridwyn is am Unseelie princess who is her Uncle's heir to the throne. She is currently unmarried which leaves her in a sticky situation. Most sidhe females are married young in arranged marriages, but somehow she got skipped over (probably because she wasn't considered of much use). Barring that, Kerry is a very proper lady...until she hits the battlefield. Since she was young enough to hold a sword she's been wielding one with prowess. Her Uncle gave in to letting her practice with his guards when they reported that she may have skill. After only a few weeks they all saw that she needed proper training. She was given lessons by the Master at Arms and Captain of the Guard and on the sidhe equivalent to her 13th birthday she was given a set of twin daggers with thigh sheaths. The daggers were a gift from the Master at Arms, however, the Captain of the Guard gave her something better, Faerie Armour. Once her gifts were received she started learning how to use them in tandem and became one of the most feared female warriors in the sithen. Consequently, she was challenged to many duels and only lost one. Her powers also manifested around this time and Kerry was given over to another kind of training. Her tutor in this art was a young Unseelie whose parents had left him near the door to the Sithen when he was born for fear he and they would be harmed. Her Uncle, now nearing a time to appoint an heir chose young Kerridwyn because of her potential. After being declared his heir her Uncle gave her a personal contingent of guards that was lacking a captain so she could choose her own. Obviously enough, she chose her new tutor. This is where the story begins, at the heir proclamation ceremony.

Mary Sue TestHere's a test to see if your character is too perfect. Don't take this as an insult. I'm not saying your character is a Mary Sue- just that you should always check.
