Well why not? Let's go alphabetical with my main mains.
Your character is stranded on a desert island with only his or her socks. Would s/he eat them? Why is your character eating socks on a deserted island?!
Den would not eat his socks. But I have a good explanation. If they were on a desert island he might feel slightly at home having been raised in the desert, but back to his socks. He would not be eating them because if they were resorting to eating socks he would have given his socks to someone else to eat, most likely to Tilli as his other choice Fren would get Ri's socks. Although this all would have been avoided if Dolle was there, she would just grow food for them.
Be honest: Would your character like peanut butter and jelly or a ham sandwich?
Dolle, peanut butter and jelly all the way. Both come from plants and she has this fruit thing going on. And if it was apple jelly, it would be a taste of home.
It's 2am and your character is sitting in bed eating bonbons. Do you know where your children are?! O_________O
Fren, yea I could see him up at two in the morning eating candy. As for his children, uh I never planned on giving him any, but his hypothetical children would probabbly be in bed or doing something with magic, books, and stories. Or they would be on his bed with him eating candy and telling stories and playing with fire.
Your character is in a forest, fighting nazi zombies with chainsaws. Your character is surrounded and there is also a princess to save in a tower WHAT DO YOU DO?!
Kirsch, after being awed at chainsaws, he would cut through the zombies knowing that this tower would have adequate fortifications as the only zombies are on the dark island and they are well equiped to deal with the constant plauge of zombies. He would save the princess (and wonder why she was there). Once saved though he would argue and ask for payment becasue he does not do that for free. He would also say if she was looking for prince charming that would be Dolle's betrothed, and the knight in shining armor would be Den who is taken. He might add Mald was not in a relationship but he kind of sold his soul to protecting his Queen and is thus technically taken.
There is a person about to jump off a bridge. What would your character do?
Mald. Well it depends on who is on the bridge, if it is his sister he will save her or die trying. If it is Kirsch he might try to talk him down if it is not too much effort. If it is someone else, yeah, their on their own.

Ri, she is trying to escape some pursuer after killing someone, or they are chasing her because she is a puppet. Or maybe she just wants to jump. She will survive as long as she does not land in the water and drown because she has some nifty healing magic. If it is into water, well she would just hope she can swim to shore before the healing magic kicks in and immobilizes her or someone is there to pull her out.
And now I have four extra, I will go with my three bad and then a teacher/oldersister/motherish type person. Also in alphabetical order.

Taiya. Well see she also has this healing magic I have mentioned. Her deathbed would be when the magic calls to magic and the illusion ends calling her spirit to the realm of the dead. She avoids it by having unfinished buisness and binding her soul to a purpose even after death. (Although said binding is done by someone else in story, but at someone else's death and it is more of a curse..)

Trison. Well see he was not born in America so he ends up getting an amendment to the constitution that allows him to become the president without being born in the right place or old enough. He gets Calif and Lial (when he is still alive) to mind control everyone. Theoretically he could just steal an identity (or make a new one) and get a nationwide write in if the other way doesn't work.
Wow this was fun.

Why not? smile Although, some of these will be interesting or hard due to the sheer number of characters I'm using.

I can't think of any of the characters that would eat their socks, not even the dragons (who wouldn't be wearing socks... well one does when he's around as a human, but he's pure carnivore).

The dragons want the ham sandwich, without the sandwich part. Some of the kids/teens might go for the PBJ, though.

The situation would be totally negated in SoH due to ABSOLUTE restrictions on violence. Then again, it's an Animal Crossing fic, where you can hit someone with an axe and it will comically bounce off.
HotES involves an adventuring party of six, so they'd likely split the party. Most likely, Leon would blast an opening, Rena would stay to heal, Dias would curbstomp the nazi zombies, and Leon and the others would go into the tower in case of tower guardians (common in their world). The only one I can see using chainsaws would be Precis.
Hilda would insist that she was the princess and call on her Pokemon to destroy the nazi zombies... actually, she probably wouldn't try the chainsaws in the first place, because why go with chainsaws when you've got a man-eating dragon with you? (Kyurem probably would find them inedible, though). She's still go off to rescue, just for fun.
Link would just shrug and adapt, as it's standard fare... well maybe not the specifics, but you know.

Oh dear, well... Hilda might do that to escape a situation, as long as one of her Pokemon was around to catch and fly off with her. In that case, the character's probably already possessed by demons.

...the only MC old enough to become president is Nadia, and she's already a community leader. Besides, the angels run the world, so there's not really any elections.

Link deals with scary stuff, man. Precis is a girl who carries a backpack which holds a robotic punching arm that is controlled by a PS1 controller. And she comes from a world that's a Renaissance era equivalent. That's canon to the material biggrin Dude, you said nazi zombies, not Redeads. Big difference. Am I allowed to answer these even though I'm not doing NaNo? I'm going to go with yes because they look so irresistably fun. And I'm just going to randomly choose characters for each question, because having all of them answer every question would be way too long. Tripp, on the other hand, probably would eat his socks. Why? I don't know. He rarely has a good reason for anything he does. Sometimes I think he's just trying to get attention. Events of the story lead him to becoming very depressed and suicidal because he feels so guilty over some of the things he's done and he's horrible at dealing with his problems. So that would be why he's jumping off the bridge. And I don't expect he'd survive.
