One of the first locations the prisoners showed the survivors when transforming a maximum security prison into a livable city was the Machine Shop. Here were dozens sets of tools, heavy industrial equipment, welders and other supplies that allowed the survivors to modify the city and to keep their equipment running. Now a veritable factory and service station the Machine Shop is also a shop in the economic sense. Here you can buy equipment, have your weapons and armor repaired and sell any odd parts you find out in the wasteland. It's a popular place for children to learn a trade as well so many youngsters hang out trying to learn new skills.
