Welcome to the Franklin Institute, a place of learning and discovery! At least that's what it was before the bombs dropped. It's become a staging grounds for the local Brotherhood of Steel militia in their everlasting fight against the super-mutants. It's now heavily fortified and dangerous for anyone not wearing BoS power armor to approach. You could try sneaking in to peek at some of the few technological advancements though most would consider it foolish, but hey, what's a little danger compared to the glory of discovery and education right?
