About Me
Personality: Tad is at first appearance, your typical depressed Goth kid, but like most Goths the style is simply his way of keeping people out and keeping a distance between himself and the world. Tad has abandonment issues and he feels that if allows himself to get close to people then he will only get hurt. He puts out being an uncaring person who is indifferent to the plights of others, but if someone really needs him, he will help them out. Although, he will make it seem like helping them out is beneficial more to him than the person he's helping.
If anyone is lucky enough to get Tad to open up his true self, he turns into a much more amiable person. He's a fun guy with a great sense of humor, if a bit over-blunt. He enjoys cuddling just for the sake of cuddling and considers himself bi-sexual. He's not a very tough guy physically, but will play the part of protector if needed, even if it means getting his a** kicked a couple of times. He is terrified of people leaving and once he's established a bond with them, he will do anything he can to keep them even if it means compromising his own morality.
He is incredibly protective of his little sister and would die for her in an instant. He also has a soft spot for little kids in need, knowing just what it feels like to be abandoned and alone.

Their Story: Tad was born to a young, just-out-of-high-school, couple. They never got married and only lasted three years before Tad's father walked out on them, leaving him being raised by a single mother. To provide for them, Tad's mother, moved to New York and got into a questionable line of work, often disappearing over night. Tad would spend lots of time at his best friend's home whose mother was kind enough to take him while his mother worked. Tad was always resentful that his mother was never around and he never understood why she did what she did.
When Tad was 5 his mother accidentally got pregnant from one of her customer's resulting in his sister Abby. Immediately, Tad became protective over her, not wanting her to end up like his mother. Tad pretty much raised his sister, he fed her, clothed her, bathed her, and made sure she got to school safely. When he was 16 the unthinkable happened.
Tad came home with his sister to find his mother bleeding to death on their kitchen floor. Immediately he called 911, but they didn't arrive until it was too late. The police later discovered, that one of his mother's customers had followed her home and when she turned him away, he got angry. The man was never caught.
The two were immediately sent to their Aunt Tracy's in Florida. Their aunt Tracy, while nice enough, didn't really care for the two kids as much as her own kids. As a result, Tad was equally still taking care of his sister like his own.
when disaster struck, Tad and his sister, having been lucky enough to live far enough inland as to not get his by the bulk of the tsunami, waited out the storm in the attic of their Aunt's home. When things finally settled, they stole a speed boat and eventually found safety in a beached cruise liner.
Talents: Tad can play the guitar, but prefers the electric. He is also an excellent singer.
Hobbies: He can sew a bit, but prefers to not let people know about that. He also likes cooking, and experimenting with new foods.
