SADSADSADSᴏᴍʙᴇʀ xxxxx Gʀᴇʏ" Hello. "An everlasting feeling of dread, one that almost devours you when you feel it. It's as if your heart has collapsed on itself and it has begun mourning. Nothing can come close to this feeling. The feeling of complete, and utter lament. This was how Somber grey had been feeling, and had felt his whole life. And yet somehow, that sadness seemed to torture him in the recent weeks, boring a hole into his already hollow, torn out self. The feeling of torment and depression he already had increased at least ten times fold, leaving him full of even more remorse.
Somber did not exactly know what the cause of this was, but he decided that it was time for him to oversee what ever was indeed causing it. And thus he began his exploration of simply what 'Earth' was.
Somber, as a god, existed in the world universe. He was the god of Sadness and Remorse, and every single feeling that anyone ever felt that was pained, or depressed, he felt that. One could say he was the origin of pain and sadness. He knew of the many gods, and even though hadn't met any, he knew of what they were like. It was one of those things that simply come to you. Somber had never had a Physical form. He lived in nature all around, some parts of him bigger in vegetation than others. But indeed where he felt that his presence was most strong, and where he truly felt him being there, was the Bialowieza Forest. And he decided, this was the place he would first explore.
He didn't feel as if he absolutely needed to see what was happening in the world, because in truth, Somber did not. He left things be, but this constant pain he was feeling deep within his utmost being was....It was not normal. It was nothing like the normal misery he constantly felt. It was deeper, and it seemed to be etched into his very soul. In all of his years of living, to never have experienced this feeling.....It was strange. This peaked what little curiosity he had. And perhaps it also helped that he had heard so much from this place his utmost presence resided in. This place, 'Earth,' as it was called, was probably filled with more misery than 1,000 years back in time. This one tiny, tiny place. This was where suicide said to have began. The point where misery overcame a human so badly, they killed themselves. And it intrigued him, because Somber had never met a human being. Ever. He knew that when he materialized into a form, he did look like them. Not quite exactly, but close enough. He did in fact know that he was not a beast. In the end, he did not care. Somber had his will set that he would visit this place....Because he knew, there must've been nothing like it.
In the depths of this thick forest, lied the very tree Somber decided he would finally originate from. This tree was the biggest, not to mention oldest in the forest. That being sad, this was not the factor that made Somber decide it was this specific tree. It was the sorrow this tree held. If one walked up to this tree, touched it, looked it, took in it's aroma, it would have nothing but sadness to give. This tree was almost his very being, reincarnated into a thing of nature. Somber didn't even have the tiniest of doubt in his mind that choosing this tree was a mistake.
And in the silent woods, you couldn't even hear it. It was almost as if there was no one there to witness it. And there wasn't. Everything was still.
Somber's body slowly started to generate out of not the material of the tree, but the aura. He called upon his own presence to accompany, knowing fully well what it would do to this forest. With enough given time of him being inside of this forest, it would die. The sickly lamented aura he held would be too much for this forest. Especially considering Somber had taken the tree's sadness and merged it with his own to materialize.
His body formed quite easily, and almost as if he had walked through the tree, Somber stepped out of the sickly black tree bark, and looked around with his dull, emotionless eyes. He did not feel any different. Of course he had a physical form, but, he didn't feel any different. Though Somber couldn't see it, he didn't exactly look any different than what one would imagine him as either.
His straight hair was a swampy green, with a black and grey tint to it. It held no shine, and was simply dull, and lifeless. The murky locks were all different sizes, and he had two small bangs in the middle of his face. One could note that his hair could easy fall in his face as well if he happened to be slouched forward at more than a 90 degree angle. Somber's skin was also a sickly pale, looking almost as if he had been bleed out only a few minutes ago. And his eyes were the same as his hair: Lifeless. Dull. Motionless. Underneath his eyes were thin black marks, from the thousands of years of endless remorse and crying. The body he had gained was not one that would be adored, but he thought it was quite fine. He had a stocky and lean build, little muscle, but he did not need it anyway. Though he did admire any gods who kept themselves in the best of shape. It was not an easy thing to do. Somber still could not see, but his clothing was a solid black as well. Leather combat boots, black pants that felt a bit tight on his but covered all of his legs, and a solid black jacket with white and grey fur lacing on the hood. The jacket itself was zipped up enough for him to feel comfortable, and enough for one to not notice he indeed have a shirt underneath.
One other thing that Somber noticed was his species. Banshee. There were not many Banshee's on this planet. If he were to count, there would only be about 10. Banshee's represented sorrow and death, as well as nature, so it made sense that he would materialize being part of their species. In the end, Somber didn't complain. He didn't really care what he looked like, it was more of what he was feeling.
He was currently standing in front of the tree, taking in all of the surroundings. Surprisingly, he felt normal. As normal as one could get. He wasn't numb, or, he couldn't eve say he felt the sorrow he was usually feeling. A little curious, He blinked and shifted, only to finally feel. Perhaps he had to adjust first, but now....He could feel it.
All of this planet's pain and sorrow. It was directly flowing into him. He could practically see in his mind the torture, the mourning, and the remorse. The vivid images in his mind however, were nothing compared to what he was actually feeling. Before, when the feeling's of the world's constant misery had come to him, he had expected it eventually. Remorse happens to everyone eventually. It was an inevitable fact. However, this, what he was currently feeling, was unlike any other. He could actually feel physical pain. All of the torture people had endured, and all of the pain they had been through for years and years to come. These emotions overcame him so suddenly, tears started to swell from his eyes. At first they were the normal clear, but they soon turned a grey-ish black from the death and sorrow the emotions held. His limbs were throbbing, feeling like a thousand pins and needles were wanting to enter his body. And that was basically what was happening. He was so filled with these emotions of sorrow, they had caused him to become mentally, and physically weak. Somber's crouched down from the pain, his arms, legs, and everywhere else on his body trembling. The tears wouldn't stop coming from his eyes. But his face did not scrunch up in pain, and he did not shrivel up in worry. It stayed the same. His eyes stayed still and motionless, and his expression was numb. It was a mixture of depression(his normal expression) and mourning.
Somber sucked in a small breathe, soon finding hiccups coming to him as all of the tear's people cried over the endless year of torment, they came to him. He was releasing all of the pent up pain in the world. All of the lament that he had not been able to release before, because he had never been Physically here to take it.
Five minutes passed and nothing stopped. In fact it had only gotten worse. So Somber decided he had to do what he needed to release all of this sadness. And he would do what all Banshee's do when they feel desire to express misery. He would scream. And that is exactly what he did.
With wobbily limbs, Somber managed to stand up, and he trembled and limped half way into the forest, a small clearing in his path. He sucked in a breathe, black tears dripping from his chin. His aw unhinged, and he screamed.
Somber let out a screechingly loud scream, and the birds in the area did not fly away. No. They feel to the ground, dead. The wind stopped, and all stood still as this screech filled the area. Not only did the sound spread, but the emotions did as well. They emptied out of him slowly, but surely, and it showed, because the tears were beginning to stop.
15 minutes later, Somber could finally stop. The tears had stop running. The pain was gone. But he did not feel empty. No. The emotions were still there. They would remain there as long as he lived, and they would not leave. With his throat raw, Somber let out a small whine and collapsed onto the sickly green grass, not sparing any of his already gone time or energy to look around at what his scream had caused. Everything around him was dying. The grass had lost it's color, and the trees started to wither. Everything was dying. Because everything was starting to feel the horrid pain that Somber felt every single day of his long, long life. "What fools, Mortals are!"
the wind started to pick up speed till it turned into a whirlwind. The ground in the whirlwind started to change from green to brown to white as snow fell. Leaves entered the wind, but as they did they changed. Then season inside of the Whirlwind changed. The season change quicker and quick and the wind got faster and faster till Sophie appeared in the middle of the whirlwind. The wind stop as quick as it started.
Sophie looked around to see if she could see the source of what made a great shift in balance of Nature. She saw a young man laying on the ground in a pool of what seemed like oil. His aura that gave her chills down her spine, but she knew she had to go and she who or what he was.
She took a deep breathe and began to walk. As she walked thing began to grow uncontrollably. When she put her bare foot on the thing sprung to life, but because life is a cycle the things that sprung to life kept growing till they burnt right though there life cycle and died.

SADSADSADSᴏᴍʙᴇʀ xxxxx Gʀᴇʏ" Hello. "Somber stared up at the now darkened smile quite blankly, noticing another presence join him. He sucked in a small breathe and said, "Hello." He shuffled slightly at himself on the floor, wobbiling some more before he finally got up. He let out another small whine, and rubbed his head, wiping the tears from his eyes. His expression hadn't changed a bit. It was still rather sad, and woeful. Shuffling some more, the Banshee spared some time to look around, seeing a woman's figure walk towards him. He faced her slightly and cocked his head deeply to the right. He opened his mouth to say something, but he closed his mouth and turned around, walking towards the tree he had materialized from. He placed a hand on it, and nodded, almost as if he could hear it speak. And essentially, he could. He could hear the tree whine, and groan in pain and sorrow. He nodded his head understandingly, and rubbed the bark gently, still aware of the person behind him. "Hello, Mom." Unlike most Gods, Somber wasn't afraid of calling his mother, 'Mom.' They called their parents by their usually names, because they feel grown, and know that they have separated from their parents. Somber didn't do this. Mainly because he still felt like a child, especially compared to her. Sure he did still look like he was in his early 20's....... And he was her son. So....The name was fitting. Somber didn't really mind what the other Gods thought of what he called his mother either. She was his mother, and he loved her. He could call his mother whatever he wish. Plus, Somber didn't care for other's opinions either. It was hard enough for Somber to show any love in the first place. Basically, 'Mom' was a way of him telling her he still loved her. And even Somber was manly enough to admit that. SADSADSADSADSADSADSADSADSAD" Hello. "

Mother Nature Sophie the Original Goddess of Nature
"What fools, Mortals are!"
She continued to walk toward the young man as he got up and walked over to a tree that didn't all that healthy. She already new it was him before he even said a word. She felt the pain coming from him, as if all the pain in the world was focused in one spot. But as he spoke one word it felt like a shot to her heart. As he called her mom. It brought back all the feeling that she had failed him as his mother, because she was never able to take that pain away. And it was because of her he had that curse placed on him. It was because of her selfish want for a child, he was born, but had the Borden of feeling the worlds pain. It almost kills her to see that happen to her Child.
Sophie reached out and grabbed him. She pulled him in and hugged him as close to her as she could. A tear rolled down her face as she hugged him. But as she held him the world pain was shard between them. But she didn't care. She would do this forever, if it would bring her son even a second of relief of his suffering. "I'm sorry" She whispered in his ear.

SADSADSADSᴏᴍʙᴇʀ xxxxx Gʀᴇʏ" Hello. "Somber was continuously stroking the bark of the pretty much dead tree when his mother pulled him into an embrace. She felt....Warm. It was a strange feeling, one he had never felt before. But it wasn't welcomed. He stood there stiffly, shuffling a bit awkwardly in the hug as well. He didn't quite understand why his mother was hugging him. Simply that she was. And....He didn't exactly have an opinion on how it felt. It didn't feel bad....But didn't feel exactly amazing either. Like himself, the feeling was really actually Neutral.
Somber let out a small whine as his mother seemed to hug him tighter. She was too tight up against his body, and he felt his aura engulf her. Somber knew that he didn't want to let any of the dark he himself had to touch his mother. But then, at that moment, they seemed to share feelings of grief. He could tell now why she hugged him. It was out of sorrow. She felt as if she had failed as being a good mother. That she abandoned her child, and let him experience all of the grief he was currently experiencing alone. And Somber thought that this was indeed to be expected. He could make anyone experience grief and sorrow, even if he didn't try. And he actually didn't.
With an outward sigh, Somber placed a hand on her back. He took in her scent and would say it was pleasant. She smelled nice. He hadn't been in her embrace in a while. And Somber knew she would hug him quite often because of how clumsy he was, and how easily he got hurt. It was quite sad, in all honesty, but Somber was made to be sad.
Still, somber couldn't help but feel very responsible. Did she think that she herself brought this upon him? Somber didn't want her to think that. It was a natural thing for him to feel this way. There wasn't anything he could do about it. It wasn't at all her fault. Somber wondered why she indeed felt this way.
He hugged his mother back a bit awkwardly and then pulled back, tilting his head to the right. His cheeks were a bit stained with that black oily crud he had cried moments ago." You don't have to apologize," Somber mumbled out dully, rubbing her back. He at least knew that this action brought people comfort. He didn't know why, but was sure it would work on his mother. One other action he knew his mom enjoyed was hearing music. He knew she liked music. So he began to hum. It was in a low tone, and slightly depressing, but that was one of the wonderful things about being a Banshee. They had beautiful voices. It was said that Banshees also sung for those who were in grief as well. To hopefully, or maybe slightly ease or help share their pain.
So Somber continued humming for her, rubbing her back, his face and eye still void of emotions. Still humming, he said,"You look pretty. Or at least....I think you do. Hello." SADSADSADSADSADSADSADSADSAD" Hello. "

"What fools, Mortals are!" Sophie held him as tears welled up in her eyes. She felt him pull away from her, But that was normal for him. She took a deep breather try to now burst out in tears. When something weird happen. He hugged her back. It was almost unbelievable when he did this. He pulled away from her but not out of wanting to escape the hug, but to comfort her. She say the black stains on his cheeks, which she know what from. He told her that she didn't have to apologize. He then rubbed her back. But it did not help to es her guilt.
Somber Began to hum, it was slightly depressing, But still beautiful. It sounded like the happiest song in the world to her. Because she knew he was singing out of love for her. She wipe away the treas in her eyes. He continued to hum and rub her back. She looked in to his eyes. Anyone else would have just seen his emotionless eye, but she was always able to the see the glimmer of life and hope that lays dormant in him eyes. He then told her that she looked pretty, followed quickly by a 'Or at least I think you do'. Sophie looked down and gave a small smirk. "Well Somber, you have not lost your way with words." she said followed by a giggle. She looked back up at him. And smiled at him. "I have missed you."

SADSADSADSᴏᴍʙᴇʀ xxxxx Gʀᴇʏ" Hello. "Somber continued holding his mother until she pulled back, and he was now a bit happier to see that she had retained more of her normal side. He nodded at her words and then a very small, tiny sad smile appeared on his face. This smile was the only one he was actually capable of making. Yes, Somber's lips were up slightly, but...His expression was one of complete, and utter sadness. If it wasn't for this, it would look like he was simply giving a very shy and timid small smile. But it was because of his dull, expressionless and sorrow filled eyes that he was incapable of doing so. And this, like many other things, Somber was used to. Sophie too. Though she hadn't seen him in a while, he knew, that she knew, that this in reality, was a very genuine smile from him. It was the best he could do. And he hoped that at least trying to give her one of his very rare smiles would cheer her up even more, because he could still sense she was still feeling grief inside.
Somber cleared his throat silently, his features returning to their normal, expressionless void. His eyes seemed to get even duller."I missed you too, Mom." He said as he pat his Mother's head a bit awkwardly, then looked around. He tilted his head to the right, and then said,"Mom? Is it.....Nice...Here?" He asked as he stood back and motioned to everywhere specifically around him, signaling that 'here' actually meant Earth. Somber actually had so many questions to ask his mother. About humans, and things in general that he had wanted to ask her for so many years. Somber didn't actually get to talk to his mother on a daily basis. In fact, he hadn't seen her since he was a small, tiny child. But he could tell she hadn't changed a bit.
His mother still had the same warm smile, full of life and happiness. Her eyes were always joyful, and aura was very earthy. He liked it. It was one of the very few things he would even admit he did favor. SADSADSADSADSADSADSADSADSAD" Hello. "

Mother Nature Sophie the Original Goddess of Nature
"What fools, Mortals are!"
Sophie watch as her son gave a weak smile, that she knew was extremely rare. Her heart began to sore as Somber gave a smile that Sophie remembers from when he was little. Even as a baby Somber didn't giggle, he did smile. All he did was cried. It was braking her heart to hear her baby cry, and not being able to make what was hurting him so much, go away. So Many times when Somber was just a baby, She would take him over the the rocking chair and just held him in her arms in her shirt, skin to skin, heart to heart, and many, many times she cried along with him. Somedays, when he was quite she would just listen to him breathing. She was almost at her limit of how much she could take, Till' one day he looked right at her and gave her that weak hopeless smile that he just gave her. She knew that the smile he just gave her was a vary special one because it was the one he gave her, and only her.
She gave him a warn loving smile back. One she always got when he smiled at her. She has always loved her babys, but Somber always has his own special place in her heart. She was lost in thought till' Somber pulled her back to reality, and told her he missed her too. It was almost enough to tear her heart out. She felt ashamed of what she did. He started to pat the back in an extremely awkwardly way. He looked around and tilted his head, as he dose so often, and asked if it was nice here. She thought about all that has happened since he was gone. So much has changed. it was almost unrecognizable. "Well I am not sure, thing have change scene you were last here, there has been so much pain and suffering. There has been countless deaths, and a lot of pointless blood sherd. But the foolish mortals have not learned from there mistakes, if anything they have gotten worse. But who I am to judge. Gods have made there fair share of mistakes. I should know. I am made a lot of them, and one of those was giving you up." Sophie said as she look away from in shame. She pulled away from him and raped her arms around herself. She could not look him in the eye after what she did, It was to painful for her to bring those dark memories, back into the light. It felt like it was happening all over again.
Her heart began to beat faster and it became harder to breath. As the pain in her cheats began to become unbearable. Until the world started to spin because of the pain, Till' the world went black as she started to fall back.

SADSADSADSᴏᴍʙᴇʀ xxxxx Gʀᴇʏ" Hello. "Somber liked it when his mother smiled. It made her look very pretty. Well....Pretty-er. Somber didn't know if his mother could get any prettier, but he did know she looked extra pretty when she smiled. He also knew she looked happy. And he liked it when she was happy. It made him feel glad that he could make someone feel an emotions other than lament and sorrow.
But then, as he saw her smile, he felt the guilt now evading her heart. So she still felt guilty that she couldn't do anything. Somber didn't want her to keep feeling this way. So he decided before anything else went on, he had to tell her how he felt."Mom," He started, gently taking her hand in his and holding it lovingly. Well, he tried, at least. Somber only knew that the feeling of holding someone's hand was a very warm, and kind expression. He also remembered that when he was a child, she'd always hold his hand and hug him. Somber couldn't ever forget this. She would do it all the time, and he could tell that not only did it make her feel slightly better, but it seemed that she thought it would make him feel better. Of course, when Somber was a child, he didn't know what the hell she was doing except taking his hand in hers, so the feeling was alienated. But now, Somber was grown, and he understood the motion. So he continued to hold her hand, and he tightened his grip.
"Don't feel sad.....Okay? There are countless things that i don't mind...And i can tolerate. But seeing you sad is not one of them. Your smile is so pretty. I want to see it more. I want to see that true smile on your face, accompanied by all those warm feelings you get that i can't feel. Because that's when i truly know you're not sad. And that's when i truly know you're happy. And you happy.....It's one of the tiniest little things that i want more than anything else in the world."
Somber's face was expressionless, a void of nothing. But he forced his eyes as much as he could to make it look serious. Just as he was about open his mouth once more to say one final thing, she started to collapse.
Somber's instinct immediately kicked in and he wrapped his arms around her slender body, holding her up and making sure she was alright.
His mother was still feeling so much grief and sorrow.....He wanted to make it all go away. To free her mind, body, and very soul from the torture that is sadness. He didn't know if this would help....But when he was a child, it certainly did help him.
He kissed her.
It wasn't a passionate kiss, but it was one she gave him all the time as a child. A quick and sweet peck on the lips. It usually made him stop crying, even if only for a few seconds. So he quickly held her tightly and pressed their lips together quickly, then pulled back and held her hand a bit tighter.
He keeled down so she was slightly in his lap, and embraced her in yet another hug. "You don't have to hate yourself. I was never mad. And i wont ever be. You did what you could. And no matter what you think, you're a great mom." SADSADSADSADSADSADSADSADSAD" Hello. "
