TYPES OF WEAPONS
This topic here is basically an quick explanation onto what sort of weapons are left and are often found within the whole entire world due to the outbreak. Some might be in law enforcement vehicles, or hidden in an old house somewhere. However, there are different types to choose from, and they'll give the effect on how you can turn the tide against an wave of walking corpses, or against an small group of them in an area. Either Loudly, or Silently.
LIST OF TYPES
- Handguns: Handguns, or Pistols which are called at times. Are basically used by officers and military ranks as an secondary firearm. But is also used by law enforcements just in case for self defense against others with an weapon in their hands, or not. Most Handguns often do create sound, but there is only one known handgun that is silent but it's considered illegal. Using an handgun against an group of undead corpses is typically an bad thing in an safe area. This would cause one or unluckily more than one to show up in that area and start invading it, since they're attracted to lights, sounds, scents, and nearby moving objects. However an Handgun is only slightly effective against an horde of zombies at once. But an Handgun is quite useful against an small group of them. (Known Handguns are: 9mm's, .25 Calibers, PNN, Race Gun, Type 17, and Desert Eagles)
- Submachine Guns: The hybrid of an rifle and handgun. Most often Submachine guns can be held one handed or two handed, depending on the length of it. Against zombies, they're really effective against an small wave of them, but the downfall is that it runs out of ammo pretty quickly with rapid firing of the weapon. They emit lots of sounds and lights by their capabilities, so if using one for an good amount of time, be prepared for an large horde of the undead coming your way. (Known Submachine Guns are: M1 Thompson"Tommy Gun", SMG's, and Uzi's)
- Rifles: An rifle is an gun with the grooves cut inside a barrel of a gun to spin the bullet as moves through it. This is highly an effective thing against zombies in every way, but be careful with how you use it. The sound of an rifle is always loud unless using an silencer. Most often an rifle is used for an scope, or is an single action rifle(shot only once and then reloaded). However, it's tough to find an good rifle in cities. (Known Rifles: Sniper Rifles, AK-47's, M4 Carbines, and Shotguns)
- Others/Special Weaponry: There are some items that can be used as weapons, some even have blades on them, or require none or little ammunition to take care of the job of Zombies. These things are highly effective up against zombies, and can also be silent no matter what unless made noise with it. Some weapons such as these are: Knives & Swords, Bats, Tazers, Bow & Arrows, Staff/Stick, Crowbar, etc most melee or stunning objects.
