It was time to go out of the herd, and explore!
Tecciztecatl blinked, his bright eyes looking around curiously for his parents or brothers. So far, they weren't anywhere near; so now was his chance! Despite not liking to be around many people, he wanted to see what was outside the herdlands, even if it was just a quick peek! The foal's little tail swished behind him, before he trotted forward, up the small path toward the entrance only Usdia's could fit through. Looking back over his shoulder toward the log cabin that his great grandfather came through, he tilted his head. Surely they wouldn't mind if he just went out and looked around for a little bit... right?
Wiggling his nose, the Pixiecorn moved forward quickly. He had to make sure that he got out before anyone saw him! Of course he would come back before they noticed him gone, but he had to go explore! It was like an itch on his horn that he couldn't reach. Snorting softly, he held his head up high, and practically pranced forward toward the entrance. He ducked down slightly as he walked through it, looking around curiously. He'd never been this far before. He peeked around some, before taking a deep breath, and moving forward farther. It only took him a few moments before he found himself on the other side, staring into a bright, big world that he'd never seen before.
Tecciztecatl stared curiously. He moved forward, down the slope of the mountain pass, and toward the woods below. What was out here, what could be around here? He breathed in the smells of this area, and compared them to those in his home. It was different, more piney, he would guess. Brisker. His home was a lot sweeter smelling. Tilting his head some, the dark foal glanced around as he tried to figure out what to do. He moved forward slowly, before tilting his head, eyes going wide. "Woaaaaah!" He said, grinning. It was the biggest tree he had ever seen! He ran forward, placing his front hooves on the large trunk, head tilted back to stare up at the branches.

It was a quiet day and it was something the young foal appreciated. He was a bit lonely now that he was out on his own. His father was around kind of, but not really. His mother he didn't know too well and his other siblings...well...they weren't around. This didn't sadden him or make him feel depressed one bit. Yes he was lonely, but at the same time the solitude was something he could enjoy.
As of right now, he wasn't thinking about that. He was exploring the vast open world around him and the more he saw, the more he wanted to wander. His blue doll-like eyes scanned the area seeing the large trees surrounding him as he walked slowly down the path peeking up at them when he felt like it. His tail swayed a little bit and before long, he was far away from his home or at least the place he called home. It wasn't much and his father was always sleeping so his social time was pretty limited.
!!!!!?
His ears perked up at the sound of another in the area making him look in the direction it came from. He wasn't scared or worried something was going to attack him. In fact, he was more curious then anything. So he walked closer and closer to the area where he heard the noise until he saw the other little usidia. "Are you like me?" It was a weird thing to ask someone else, but then again Phantasm was a little odd to begin with.

So big!
Tecciztecatl blinked up at the tree with wide eyes. He still couldn't believe it. His tail gave a slight sway as he stared, the wings on his head and flank fluttering in excitement. How could something this big exist?! Sure, there were some big trees in his herdlands, but this... This was just... Huge! The foal grinned at it, before taking several steps back to admire it as best as he could, golden eyes locked. He moved forward, rearing up and placed his hooves once more on the bark, feeling the tree beneath his feet. He wanted to climb it, but knew very easily that it would not happen as such. After all, he was just a little horse; he couldn't climb trees!
A voice entered his ears, and at first, Tecciztecatl thought it would be someone from the herd, coming to retrieve him. He jumped, and backed away from the tree, turning his head toward the voice with his ears perked. But it wasn't someone from the herd. No, it was someone different. The colt tilted his head, staring straight ahead with somewhat wide eyes, before he tilted his head the other way. The other foal in front of him was interesting looking. His throat had some sort of jagged cut across it, like he had been wounded, and there was odd smokey stuff coming from it. His tail bore a spiked blue ball at the end. And his stripes were interesting, by far! The colt tilted his head the other way, watching him with curious eyes, before he smiled some, and tapped one of his front legs a few times in excitement. He couldn't believe he was already meeting someone outside of the herd! He had figured it would have probably just been some sort of animal; maybe a bug! But no, it was another little foal like himself, and he couldn't contain the excitement he felt for this knowledge.
"Like you? I'm a little foal too, yea!" Tec stated. He didn't fully understand the question. What was it he was asking? Deciding that it had to be a mini baby, Tecciztecatl answered the question. He smiled, and, being bold right now, moved forward some to peer at him with curious, excited eyes. "You look startled. Right? I could help ya if you want. I'm good at that! Papa says that I'm the most helpful person ever!" Tec stated, before he tilted his head curiously, eyes locked on the other colt. "I'm Tecciztecatl! But you can call me Tec if ya want. Are you lost?" He asked, eyes once more glancing at his neck to try and see just what was wrong with him. What if he was hurt?! Surely his mother would know how to help a hurt little foal... right?
