Jeremy is a good, kind, smiling doctor who seems sometimes naiive and asks a lot of questions. Truth is, he is a lot wiser than he seems. He is the embodiment of goodness, who only gets angry when someone harms someone else or when someone won't take care of themselves. He loves healing with natural means, but since he came to the safety of the academy, he isn't shy about his power.

His family slaughtered when he was 11, Jeremy fled with his young sister and an old man to a large city where he apprenticed under an apothecary named Rashid. Throughout his life, Jeremy has worked to help the world, but he also has to flee from an organization that wishes him slaughtered because of his power to bring the dead back to life. He can only do this, however, mouth to mouth, the body has to be sustainably liveable, and the longer the soul had been lost the least likely he is to succeed. Also, in some cases, he refuses to bring the dead back to life. Usually when he knows they need to pass on. Because Jeremy is an amizra joytis, he cannot lie. Nor can anyone lie to him without him knowing, as lies and ill will physically weaken him a little. He cannot age until after he's lost his virginity. After that, the amizra joytis begin to age and die naturally, but they also gain wings, giving them the title of angels in their world. He is not only a healer, but he is good for therapy and a patient teacher.
