About Me
Personality: Adeline is a very calm, shut away person. It may take a while to get to know her, but that doesn't mean she's the shy type. When it comes to her own needs Adeline can be rather harsh and heartless. She puts her own survival before everyone else's. On a morale scale she is fairly neutral. What must be done must be done.
Adeline is a bit of a realist. If someone if most likely not going to make it through a situation alive she might feel obliged to end their suffering. Though rough around the edges Adeline is the type to think things through and go about things calmly. She has sufficient manners and a high tolerance for people.
Family Relations: Adeline left her family at a very young age and doesn't remember much of them. She had no siblings, leaving her the only victim of their suffocating abuse. It was never physical abuse, but more so mental and sheltering. It is unknown to her whether they are still alive.
Other Significant People: None. She has made temporary friends here and there, but fends mainly for herself and carries on her own.
Their Story: Being the only born child Adeline was subjected to being sheltered from the world since the day she was born. She was home schooled, never had any friends and was taught very little about the dying world outside of the bomb shelter she had been born in. Her parents believed that if they told her she was undesirable to other people she'd never want to leave, but it only fuelled the need to get away.
At the age of twelve, as her parents slept soundly, Adeline escaped the bomb shelter and ran away from the only home she knew. Surviving the barren waste lands outside had been difficult, but she managed through thick and thin. Adeline had always been a quick learner, and having been brought up to believe others had no need of he it was easy to take advantage of people to get what she needed.
Over time she realized that not all people were terrible. After and elderly couple left her everything they'd owned, in exchange for ending their suffering Adeline had come to a turning point in which people became more than just objects. They were living beings, capable of pain. Since that point she has tried her best to supply what she needed for herself in a noble manner, but old habits die hard.
It wasn't until recently that she decided to seek out a more permanent group. As the years went by solitude has made her weary, and a little companionship couldn't hurt, right?
Talents: Adeline has trained herself in the way of stealth and thievery. She has no particular musical or artistic talents, but excels in many sports, such as volley ball and soccer.
Hobbies: Despite disliking many artistic abilities Adeline enjoys, and fairly good at, knitting. This may due to the fact that she's used to tinkering with locks and traps.
