Her soft amber eyes opened as she awoke from sleeping, as she exhaled; she noticed her breathe was visible. It made her rather curious as to how it was possible to see her breathe when she couldn’t hours before when she had just laid down to sleep. She inhaled deeply and then exhaled slowly watching the air form in front of her. She blinked several times trying to make sure it wasn’t just her imagination playing with her. The puff was really there and she was making it, she was almost proud of herself but then she figured it probably had something to do with the change in the air. Her mood dropped as soon as she figured it out. She should have known she wasn’t special enough to do anything worth mentioning to another. Naerdiel got to her feet and stretched out a little before she looked around a bit to make sure she was alone. It only made her heart sink even further, there was always a sliver of hope that one day she would wake up and she would be with company but she knew better. No one really liked her and she would always be alone.
She always tried her best to be what she thought they wanted but in the end she was always turned away anyways. What was the point in even trying to talk to the others? She found herself looking down at the snow covered ground; it was completely white except for where she had been laying in the grass. There was a lonely outline of her body and it was a gentle reminder as to nudge her not to forget why she was the way she was. It was his fault, the one stallion had changed her for the worst but then again it was her fault to, she was so easily deceived by him. She wasn’t going to let it happen again but yet she had let it happen again and again by getting caught up in her own scheme. Nae turned away from her outline and looked up at the sky hoping to see some small change, something that would let her know there would be a bright future for her.
