To help this topic go along I have only seen:

Pokemon and Yu-gi-Oh as the only Manga/Anime I have ever seen.

I also have seen Adventure Time, Although its made in Japan it may/may not go under the same catergory.

I honestly need to read/ watch more.

well lets see...

their is one anime that I liked that has recently ended with 13 episodes called
K Project

I liked the concept and story of this anime.
The concept is in a not to futuristic Japan there are seven kings each king has a clan and everyone in the clan has psychic powers gained from their king; the king himself has his own powers as well. The kings are not known by the public, because they control important people like the minister in Japan and work through those people at most times.

The story is that the main character is found wanted dead by the third king (the red king) because he is falsely accused of killing one of his clans members and leading to a mystery of who killed him.

Can't tell much more then that without giving away the whole thing. xD

Bleach - I really want to know the end of it (haven't ended in my country)... Some mystery still bugging me-_-
Death Note - This manga's really chalenging for mind to guess before the author show the truth razz
Soul Eater - at first I thought it's just comedy anime/manga but the I realized it deeper than I thought... I kind of dissapointed at the ending though, but I still like the story wink )

Sorry but I can't suggest mangas because I only watch animes >.<

DNAngel also good. 3nodding But I still don't know the ending of the manga. crying It's okay to list animated movies as long as it's Japanese. wink

I spend to much time to read mangas or novels than my own study sometimes. lol Animes suggestion also good since usually animes are from mangas (even if not always). Also, I watch 07-Ghost and read the manga, it have different stories started in the middle or the story but both are good (the manga more dark than the anime).

Shortly after writing that list I watched spirited away now I have the urge to watch howls moving castle again >.>
