Hello Everyone -
During this week in honor of Varlot
I think it would be nice to suggust wearing:
click it to be taken to marketplace.
I find that since Varlot is wearing red for durem on her final avatar
and ironically this item has a "v" and it's called the "mourning armband"...
I think it would be nice for us all to wear.
Also, if GSW holds the event like they have done for the past years
I say during that week when you hold the 2013 GSW event ~
that we should wear it as a rememberance as well.
Remember everyone that
Varlot may be gone physically ~ but with us she will never be gone nor' forgotten
and we thank her (as well as everyone else) for all they have done.
I have posted a similar message like this today in my GSWAP thread -
but I wanted to share it here as well
so I hope it is okay.

I really don't know what to write. I wanted to prepare something profound, something to truly commemorate Varlot. But... I'm at a lost for words. All I can say is she will truly be missed. My thoughts are with her family and friends tonight.
I really like the idea as a way to remember Varlot. If I'm still around for GSW next year, I'm going to wear it the entire week.

Oh my, I'm just...I'm stunned into silence.
I honestly not sure what words I can say to convey how I'm feeling at the moment. though, one thing is for certain; Varlot will truly and more definitely be missed. Granted, she's still with us in memory and spirit, thought things won't quite be the same without her.

The news saddened me greatly the other day. I had to think about it a lot today wondering what I can do. I know I don't post here very often, but a loss is a loss, online and offline.

l_RavenPandorah_l You're welcome everyone it's the least I can think of in rememberance of varlot. *hugs* I havn't been on gaia (speaking with anyone) for almost a year.
To retun and find out that someone so special is gone and so recently is heart wrenching.
I immediately took your suggestion and changed my avi in her honor.

This is my first time signing into Gaia in weeks and when I saw the announcement I was stunned into silence. I didn't know Varlot all that well, but I remember her fondly from the events and she was a fantastic person. May she rest in peace.
I am going to add the item to my outfit right now in remembrance of her.

I'm just now seeing this, seeing that I neglected Gaia for the longest time because of classes.
This is just so sad.
I cried when I read some of the posts within the GSW thread, here in this thread, and in the GSWAP thread..
RIP Varlot, You're very missed.
I've also bought the item in the opening post of the thread. heart

I know I'm late to voting, but I still want to say that I second the idea of having a Memorial Day dedicated to Varlot. Does anyone have pictures of her past Spirit Week outfits? Maybe recreations of those plus the arm band could count as well?
