Scythe - Used in both Iorek's human and bear form, mostly in bear. Used for close range fighting. While in his bear form he is able to hold the staff in his mouth and attack his enemies that way.
Ax bow - Used in Iorek's human form only. This is used as both a long distance and close range attacks. He is able to fire compressed energy as an arrow at his enemies.

Description: Is blind in her left eye due to injury occuring during a fight. Has faded scars over her body from the damage of her broken partnership before Iorek.
History: Kari was born into the Minamino clan, a family of demon weapons based in the oriental regions. Her father was a scythe and her mother a human with no abilities. Her family lived a fairly quiet life up until she was around the age of 14. At that time her father had begun to get more and more violent towards her family and the rest of the village around them. After a few months of this it was discovered that her father had been given human souls by his meister and was slowly turning into a kishin. By the time it was found out it was already too late. A group of villagers came to confront him, their souls being the last ones he consumed before becoming a kishin. Kari came home to find both her mother and younger brother slaughtered by her own father. In her devastation and anger she was able to defeat her father, collapsing with his kishin egg clutched to her chest.
After this incident her fathers’ egg was the first kishin egg she consumed. Her village ran her out and she was on her own with nowhere else to go. After a year of being on her own she ran into a meister named Kiren. For a while they made a wonderful team but Kiren began to lose sight of the goal the team was aiming for and their souls lost the sync needed for him to wield her. Kari was constantly being berated by Kiren about being to hot or heavy and that the sync was in some way her fault. Over time this began to affect her ability to fight and physical injury to herself when pushed passed her limits.
The two finally came to Death City but were met by a kishin before they could get to the school. By this time it was already too late to salvage any connection between their souls at all, only beating the kishin by sheer luck alone. After another berating over her incompetence they noticed a man behind them. Seeing the way the two fought the man issued a challenge to Kiren over who would be Kari’s meister. The man, turning into a bear, easily won with little damage to Kari during the fight. Kiren slipped away in defeat leaving Kari with the bear, Iorek.
Personality: Kari is usually a fairly quiet person when around others, but once she becomes more accustomed to being around them she tends to talk and open up more. Has a very caring personality to those in need of help. A very serious fighter, the more careful of the two. Usually has to remind Iorek to stop and think before attacking without a plan.
Orientation & Lover: Bisexual but tends to stick to men, She is very fond of Iorek and there is room for more of a relationship to bloom from it.
