France: Kitchen- The Palace

Antoniette Thenard was working in the kitchen. She could not believe how much money she could easily get off of everything. She knew of course that she would have to be careful not to get caught especially since there was more security in the palace in a way. She wasn't very fond of going by a different name but she knew that it was for the best. It was not as easy as it use to be to steal things, especially with the new girl Galinda around. She could not believe that Galinda really needed the money due to the fact that she was too lazy to have worked before. Just as Antoniette was about to take more sterling silver silver wear she heard someone coming. She knew that she would have to wait to get them until later. She went back over to the stove to check and see how the soup that she started cooking was doing.

Galinda came into the kitchen. She was very happy that she did not make a complete fool of herself but as she was coming back into the kitchen she saw the gentleman that the Queen was with leaving. It was confusing trying to figure out where everything was. Thank goodness there was Antoniette to help her out. She hoped that Antoniette would become a friend to her but was not sure. After all Galinda had only worked at the palace for one day if that. "Antoniette I'm sorry to bother you right now but I was asked to bring sugar cubes out to the rose garden and to tell you the truth I am not sure if the Queen is still out there or not. I was not sure exactly what to do about it." Galinda said. She hoped that Antoniette would not get mad at her.

The next morning Antoniette was in the kitchen. Just doing her usual job in the kitchen of cooking wearing a ring that she stole out of the Queen's room earlier on in the week. She heard someone coming in again. Antoniette quickly slipped the ring off her finger and into her pocket. If it was Galinda she knew that eventually she might notice the ring.

Galinda was back in the kitchen to check and see if Antoniette was back. Unfortunately she was not but she trusted Antoniette if she said that she would have supper done she believed that she would. She also knew that she did not know where the Queen was so she was not sure exactly what to do. She decided that it might be best to go double check that Fernando was alright.

"Oh yes darling I'm here. I'm Antoniette Thenard. I appologize I was just looking for certain ingredients for the roasted pig. So you are the new maid? Well hopefully you will be an improvement to the other maid Galinda. She got herself dismissed due to the way that she talked to the Queen. She was a very disrespectful person if you ask me although she also did have a thing for Fernando, Queen Aurora's fiancé. Anyways if you need help with anything or want advice I'm usually in here." Antoniette said.
