Tell us about various injuries you've recived... xD
Admit it, we all have atleast one.
First year I was fencing, there was a male sabre who would seriously BEAT YOU UP.
He'd hit off target and he'd hit HARD. Really hard, so you'd get a big welt on your leg for a week, then a huge bruise for about 2-3 weeks.
Of course, various bruises have occured.. As well at welts and what not.
Currently I have about 10 bruises on my left arm (one of the bruises is on my right hand on the first knuckle of my index finger)
Story:
I was bouting this rather annoying fellow named Niko's.
So.. We were bouting and I lunge to attack him, he backs away and my sword hits the ground.
As I bring it back up, he had advanded to hit me, but insted of hitting me I knocked his goodies around quite a bit, if you know what I mean.
He refuses to fence me now.
Another fellow named Alex was also bouting me and I hit him twice in the groin. I felt terrible because he's actually a really nice guy.
He also dislikes bouting me now.
Taylor, my boyfriend, and I were bouting, I wasn't ready and the judge said "Fence!" So... I was kinda ******** xD I charge more-or-less, and try to hit him, but insted my sword misses, hits the floor and on the way up almost hits him straight in the crotch, thankfully he jummped and lifted his leg, saving his groin pain.
Those are all my ball knocking stories...
Oh! In my D.E. at state I had to bout my buddy, Yoko, she attacked and hit my crotch, so I yelled "I HATE YOU YOKO I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL."
The judge thought I was crazy after that... neutral

I was fencing the veterins national champ and she hit me in between the legs realy hard so i was on the floor, for about 10 min just trying to stand up. xd

Wait I have a story to beat yours now.
I was gona this past weekend to a fencing meet in gorgia, everything was going fine untill I got up to fence my first bout in pools. the guy had 2 touches on me and i was about to hit his hand when my back leg just gave out under me and I was on the floor. My knee hurt like hell as you can imagine, and I could't stand up of move my leg without it killing me, so the people called an ambulence and I rode to the hospital in extreme pain, but I got morphine so it wasn't that bad. But after a few x-rays and some painfull moving of my leg the docter determained that I have a fractured Patela(kneecap.). so I won't be able to fence for maybe 4 months.
Beat that.

Yeah.
I can't beat that.. The closest I can come to beating it was midwest:
I was really dizzy after pools and I couldn't feel my fingers. When I looked at my fingers they were purple, then my vision was getting dark-er, and I was having trouble breathing.
They took me to the medical room and made my lie down, they said if I didn't get better in 10 minutes I was going to the hospital. xD
I got better though, I had to lie in the nurses place for the rest of the tournie and couldn't finish fencing. :[
That sucked.
Then for a day in fencing I had to fence with a heart monitor.
But that's all I got up against you. You win. xD

Oh! I have pictures from midwest.. xD They made me sit the whole time after I felt better. And if I wanted to walk somewhere people had to escort me. xD It sucked. But... I could still fence. So... I believe I was in a better prediciment then you..  Right to left: Kenny(Foil), Taylor (My boyfriend, Sabre :]), Andy (foil), Stephine (Foil), Xaiver (Sabre), and Me sitting in the middle (Sabre of course. :]). xD Yep.. Not the whole team.. But some of it... Anyways, I was stuck in that single chair for like... 3 hours ._. Yeah. Monkey-sucking-ball-licious. So how many pain killers do you have? xD

hhmmm.....what hasn't been hit. lol.
the most bruises i had at one time is 18
i fainted yesterday...lol
neck hits oh yeah the pain is intense
oh! and one time my clubmate Anna Simpson hit me on the foot in the same place twice, really hard, that was fun. lol

worst fencing injury...hrm,
the oddest was a tri weapon's tournoment at the end of a week long fencing camp during the epee bouting. I was paired up from a German visiting the US and staying with one of my freinds but he managed to wind up and hit me really hard in my left sholder, but the odd part was he must have hit a nerve or something because my whole arm and onto that side of my torso and neck went numb and limp and i couldnt move it for a couple of seconds. the feeling and movement returned, but still, i've got to learn how to hit that point on the right sholder for a bout sometime... twisted

wooo i am enduring my worst fencing injury... sweatdrop
i was in the Div II event at summer nationals and my arm decided to be in pain like never before- so i tried to keep going but ended up doing a medical withdrawl because they told me i had to .... crying wah... i strained my entire arm...boo hoo it hurt like a mother. scream die stupid arm...lol sorry hahaha i am not angry at my arm,,, >_> <_< >_>

That really sucks...
Yeah..
So.
I was gone for a month, then I've been sick and having various mental issues.
I HAVEN'T FENCED IN SO LONG.
It sucks.
I can't join a club, either, not enough money, and gas is too much. So all I can do is various footwork and blade work on my own in my room or outside.
Because; you know; you don't look crazy when you're waving a sword around in your backyard. xD
Anyways... Hopfully everyone is recovering from their various injuries.

wow. you guys suffer!
the worst thing was some dork who I was trying to fence dicking around with a crappy stiff bladed rapier. he didn'textend, more like punched me in the crotch with the tip. He also hit me in the hollow of the leg, whcich almost hurt more. I was very thankful i am a guy, no dangly bits to hurt, but it still had me whimpering...

Tendonitis everywhere, coommon for experienced fencers.
At summer nationals in ATL this year, someone got a saber in the juggular vein (Sorry for the spelling.)

Ha ha, mine's not so bad. Back when I was training for nationals a year or so ago, I was fencing a guy at my club. Sabre, of course^.~ He was a lot taller than I was, which isn't hard, and kept hitting my head. Rather, the side of it. So we finish our ten touch bout and, as I pull off my helmet, I realized I couldn't hear out of my right ear. It sucked>.< Went a way a day or so later though.
I also had this beautiful bruise on my arm^^ My coach hit a blood vessel and I had large patch maybe three inches in diameter on my upper arm for a few weeks. It was great!^__^
