                                  I AM FAITH "FAYE" ROUCHARD

                          DATE OF BIRTH :: February 25, 1995 (1993?)
                          AGE :: Seventeen (Nineteen?)
                          GENDER :: Female
                          SEXUALITY :: Bisexual
                          ABILITY :: Technopath

                          ═══════════════════════════════════════xxxxxxxxxx

                          PERSONALITY ::
                          Faye can be a handful, especially around those who don't know her very well. Hell, even her closest friends can have trouble handling her some of the time (or most of the time, really.) She's an eccentric and free spirited young woman who doesn't like anyone telling her what to do or how to behave. She is what she is and she's quite happy with herself, to be honest. Sure, she can be head-strong, selfish, a little cruel, and... alright, let's be honest here, sometimes a complete b***h, but she's also strong and independent. She knows who she is and what she wants and doesn't let anyone stand in her way.

                          Faye likes to keep her real emotions bottled up, presenting a tough and arrogant attitude to the people around her. She is able to keep this appearance up even up under very stressful situations. Faye prefers to use sarcasm or insults to cover up any insecurities she might have. Even her closest friends rarely get to see the real her. However, she isn't unbreakable. She can be reckless and dangerous, especially when she feels things are getting too much to handle. Instead of looking to others for help, Faye tends to just keep pushing and pushing until something breaks, either herself or the people around her. This has ruined more than a few of her relationships.

                          Underneath all the bitchiness, though, Faye really does have a heart. Despite her selfish streak, she can be brave and reliable under fire. She does care for the people closest to her and can be very loyal, and even nice, when the situation calls for it. She can be very vindictive, especially when her friends have been hurt. If you can actual earn Faye's trust and convince her your worth her time, then she'll be there for you when it really matters... if you can handle her mean-streak the rest of the time.

                          BIOGRAPHY ::

                          Before the meteors struck, Faye lived in the isolated, port town of Jefferson's Point, Maine. Around town, she had a reputation as the reckless, spoiled, "bad girl." She was known for being trouble, but was fairly popularity due to her friendship with the Class President, Britt Harrison, and her family's respected name. With her mother being one of the more powerful and wealthy people in town, Faye lived a very comfortable life and was well known for the wild, raucous parties she would throw at her house. Despite her popularity, Faye has always maintained a very small group of friends. For the most part, her only real friend was Britt.

                          Faye first met Britt in fourth grade and they instantly hated each other. Britt was easily the most popular girl in school and Faye couldn't stand her, so they grew up as bitter rivals. It wasn't until Freshman year that their relationship finally took a turn for the better. Not long into the new year, Faye's father showed up in town and the changes in her quickly became apparent. Her grades suffered, she got more distant and volatile, and eventually started skipping school all together. It was Britt who found Faye crying behind the school. With some effort, Britt managed to get Faye to open up to her and finally tell someone the whole story of why she and her mom had moved to Jefferson's Point.

                          For as long as Faye could remember, her father had been an abusive drunk. At first he'd only attacked her mother, but as the drinking got worse he turned his anger on Faye. The abuse worsened over the years and finally reached its breaking point when Faye's father broke her arm. Furious, her mother overcame her fear and took Faye away in the middle of the night. With nothing but the family car, they showed up on her grandfather's doorstep back in her mother's hometown. For the first few years, they lived with her grandfather before Faye's mother got a job as a city official and they were able to buy their own home. After that, things improved greatly as her grandfather stepped in to fill the 'father' role in her life and her mother worked hard to give Faye all she could ever want.

                          Once Britt heard the full story, she realized how serious it was that Faye's father was back in town and living with them again. Though Faye was afraid of him and asked Britt not to make things worse, Britt convinced her to tell her grandfather what was going on. The next day, her grandfather showed up at the house and helped her mother force her father out of town. Faye never got the full story of what happened that day, but her father's never shown his face in Jefferson's Point again. And Britt never told anyone about what she'd learned.

                          Ever since that day, Britt has been Faye's closest friend and the only person who can really keep her wild behavior in line. Now, they are both Sophomore's at the local college and had been trying to decide what University they wanted to transfer to for their Junior year... before a meteor put Faye in a coma. Now she's stuck in Alaska and has no idea what's happened to her best friend or her family. And why does it have to be so damn cold?"

                          WHAT I LIKE ::
                          Power, of any kind
                          Sarcasm
                          Thunder storms
                          Fast cars (or fast anything, really)
                          Britt Harrison
                          Her family
                          School & Learning (though she's not about to admit that to anyone)

                          WHAT I DISLIKE ::
                          Emotional displays (She doesn't like to show it and she hates to see it)
                          People who think they are better than her (which they aren't) or that they can boss her around (which they can't)
                          Water (or large bodies of, to be specific)
                          Her father (or any bullies, really)
                          Having no plans on a Friday night

                          SOMETHING EXTRA ::
                          xxxx - When Faye was as a child, she wondered away from the house and down to the lake out back. While playing on the dock, she fell in and would have drowned if her grandfather hadn't heard her screaming and pulled her out. He saved her life. Ever since then, she has had a fear of large bodies of water and of drowning.
                          xxxx - As far as Faye is concerned, her mother is the bravest person in the world. She not only stood up to a bully, but a bully that she loved. And she did it for Faye. Nothing will make her mad quicker than someone insulting either her mother or her grandfather.
                          xxxx - "Rouchard" is pronounced "Ru-shard."
